Local to Utah as well. What’s some of your favorite winter runs in northern Utah? Utah County to Wever County. I appreciate the review, I have some serious runs to do this next year and you convinced me to get these.
I hope you like them! I rarely leave weber county to run so all of my suggestions will be up here. Pretty much any section of the BST in Weber and Davis County will be great running in winter. Especially the sections in Ogden and North Ogden. I also love Malans Peak during the winter. It's probably my favorite.
Great review thanks, interesting to hear you were happy with the drainage, thats one thing about the 1st version I heard a lot of people complain about which has put me off that version as I also hate wet feet! Shame you hadn't had the experience to compare to the drainage in your version 1s. Enjoy your 2s.
Hi there… great reviews always… i have both sense ride 5 and ultraglide 2 and i love them both… tell me do you wear a little bigger your trail runners than normal shoe size? Tnx…
Well good luck to you. I don’t know maybe I had a defective pair. I bought the original exact same color you held up within 60 miles maybe even before that the shoe start feeling dead sold it on the second party website and for like nothing and yeah, bye say 5060 miles that they had no response left to them at all. It was shockingand I’ve always had Solomons they last forever, but I must have one that was defected I guess
Did you test the regular or the wide version? Tried on the regular version and it felt narrow (coming from a speedgoat, this probably isn't surprising...).
@@JustAnotherRunner I ended up buying a pair (10.5 wide) from the Salomon web site for $105 US (first wide shoe I've ever bought). I appreciate the info in this video, as it helped with that decision. I ended up having to send to the shoe back because they ended up NOT being true to size for me. There was an acre of space up top. These are the perils of buying shoes online. lol

Yeah I wish I had really anything to compare it to! I should incorporate drainage into all my reviews now.

Personally, I do not like extra room in my trail shoes. I wear the same size in normal shoes as my trail shoes.
I got them few weeks ago and loved them till I realised that the toe box is too low for my feet they give me toe pain

Shoot! Yeah I haven't had anything like that happen with mine. They are still going strong.

I was wearing the regular (not wide) version. I have somewhat narrow feet tho I think

Just curious, did you happen to see or experience any premature midsole breakdown on the UG 1?
No. Definitely not.
