I think the reason behind the "tacticool WW2 guns" is because you can fight against 21th century soldier, so a poor WW2 soldier could not stand a chance against a Black Ops with tacticool guns. Yes, it's a shitty reason, but I dont see anything else.

Interesting side note: the Sten MKIV stock is available in game.
That being said, there should be variants for basically every single gun in the game
its still efectively imposible to make a real MK of sten in the gunsmith though. even if you keep it vanilla, there's an incorrect flash hider on the front.
@@skeemnave4882 at least we have stocks for that tbh
Who else thinks they should show the game’s versions of real world weapon variants? You can create faux versions of the PPS43, Lebman 1911, M1928A1 Thompson, Owen MKII, Zb30, and M1918 BAR. Then there’s actual versions that can be made STG44 ZF4, G43 ZF4, SVT40 PU, G33/40(t), Type 99 Arisaka, Kar98k ZF41, SKT40, and Auto 5 Riot Gun. They owe for Jonathan’s sanity.

Like I’m sure is true with a lot of people in the comments, I did not buy Vanguard. Was hoping for an authentic(ish) and fast-paced WWII experience. Not a reskinned Black Ops. I get it, it’s fiction, but damn these guns are just too much…
@@emptybox1170 I agree man, I don't mind slight wackiness but they went too far
I think the reason behind the "tacticool WW2 guns" is because you can fight against 21th century soldier, so a poor WW2 soldier could not stand a chance against a Black Ops with tacticool guns. Yes, it's a shitty reason, but I dont see anything else.
@@nickosman1556 I guess so, still really cursed

Seeing Jonathon cuddling an STG was definitely the best possible outcome all things considered
Not only holding it but telling it, "Everything will be okay."

He just gets sadder and sadder eveytime
That's how you know he cares about the subject so much
I hope someone had a bottle of strong liquor ready for him after this, the poor man. Very bold to assume he'll be coming back again lol. Also worth noting that they did have a Lee-Enfield in the campaign that only had half of it's actual capacity.
Hopefully a bottle of everclear.
That was a technical limitation, half of the capacity of the LE mags needed to be put into the spares for that Charlton
Man's need 100% ethanol after this

When I saw that bizarre Lovecraftian aberration billed as a Thompson, I was halfway between laughing and crying. The only reason I even knew it was once a Thompson was because the receiver looked vaguely familiar, kind of like identifying a person you know in month-old dismembered remains found in someone's basement.
...oddly specific.
