Ali does it again! You can see these actors are tired from endless interviews and promos when the Ali interview begins. Then Ali gets them to laugh and reminisce and they come to life. Ali is a true talent.
I think the most important thing as an interviewer is letting the guest speak. Let the guest do the talking and not ask them questions that predominantly lead and direct conversations because it basically pigeon holes what guests can and cant talk about. You have to step back a little and let them be themselves....
This is not always possible however - Actors might not have a lot of time to allow for interviews due to filming or the host might also have other guests lined up and need to speak with before the show ends so it becomes more of a case of _'getting it over and done with'_ rather than just chilling and talking about random shit.
Totally agree. Ali (and his team?) did the homework and really knows the actors’ work. So there is real honesty and respect in the conversation. Love all his interviews.
I'd like to see Sean Evans and Ali interview each other. They both do them so well.

Ben Affleck is so lucky that he has a best friend like Matt Damon that they knew each other for decades and still keep on going. Love seeing that Matt has always been there for Ben when he's struggles on something. One of the best bromance/friendship in Hollywood
People always seem so comfortable when they are interviewed by Ali.
Matt is such a talented actor. I've been a fan of him since the first time I watched Good Will Hunting. Then he became Jason Bourne, he bought a zoo, he stuck on Mars and many more. Great actor and he seems like a fun guy that you want to hang out with
The key to the German accent is "simply" to keep the tip of the tongue always in front of your mouth right at your teeth. In English you slide the tongue slightly back for the softer "r" sound, but in the German language the tongue is never moved back, it always stays in the front portion of the mouth. That's why the language sounds so "clean" or "hard".

I gotta say, the best thing that's ever happen to Matt is his fake feud with Jimmy Kimmel. Their feud never gets old and would love to see the feud again since Matt has a new movie coming out 😂😂😂

Both he and Ben Affleck worked as extras on the film Field of Dreams (1989). At one point during the shoot, Matt took some blades of grass from the field as mementos for his father.
