Saw this live on TV when Hayley sung our anthem i thught how are the Welsh going to top that. Well Katherine came out and blew me away. I thought she was magnificent.
Most people in NZ and Wales speak English, and can sing our anthems in English; but I love that we each have another language that makes us just that little bit special. Also... sheep. Wales and NZ have the highest sheep:human ratios of any nations on earth by a significant margin. Scientists need to look into the link between a massive sheep: people ratio and excellent ability in rugby (I don't count this year's 6-nations... Stupid 2018 6-nations).
I was thinking the same thing as the tears flowed and babies are being killed 3:49 in Gaza. Humans have GOT TO EVOLVE past their barbaric ways and keep the battles on the pitch! SO SIMPLE!

I generally prefer just to hear the crowd/band/male voice choir sing the Welsh National Anthem, but KJ is the one woman whose voice can take the goosebumps to another level! Diolch!

Two of the proudest, no nonsense, ruthless, sheep lol 🤔😂 rugbying nations there has ever been. Wales in the 70s were devastating, ruthless and destroyed everyone. They paved the way for it to be more entertainable to watch. The Welshies started it all. Huge influence. Australia (1990s). Then you had that the inventors of the game, the English (1998-2003). All Blacks, well over 100 years haha! The Welsh and All Blacks have immense respect for each other in rugby. In all honesty, the French, English, Irish, South Africans and the Australians have undergone awesome progress in the past and recent times. Furthermore, they have a greater established following in varying sporting fields, other than rugby much more so than both Wales and New Zealand. 2 pure proud rugby nations accompanied by two beautiful voices. ;) New Zealand is undoubtedly the team to beat for the World Cup in 2019, followed closely by Ireland. However, both Wales and England look very strong at the moment so I won't rule them 2 out. South Africa are potential outsiders to win it next year also they have improved a lot. One to watch out for would be Japan. 2019 has come around quick!! Haha.
