I had a job once where I bought 100 foot rolls, made into loops, filed those loops to the nub and bought more 100 foot rolls. Never filed on site, just swapped in sharp chain. Glad I could provide today's new thing. Thanks for watching!
good video and job. i think i may have to start doing that the factory chains now seen to be to long and you give out of adjustment before chain gives out. i may can take one link out of my best used chains. a 28 inch stihl chain is really high now. thanks for video. take care, be safe and well.
Thank you. Stihl chain is some of the best in my opinion but $45-$55 for a 28" chain really hurts. Most people running chainsaws are not made of money. Just a thought, check your chain drive sprocket...sometimes they get replaced with a different tooth count impacting chain adjustment and saw power output. Even a worn sprocket or bar can reduce adjustment. Thanks for watching.
Very cool, I was today yrs old when I learned this!
