I'm loving this project! What does the hammering do after you made those tack welds?

thanks for the comment! the hammering helps to flatten the piece back out in between spot welds since the heat distorts the metal. makes a more even final product.

Once you are finished with the body and stuff have you considered putting an explorer 5.0 v8 in it iv seen it done alot

thank you for the comment! I've seen that done a lot too and it is something I've considered for the future. I'm a huge fan of the 4.0 and have had several that have been wonderful. this is a project i plan on keeping for the long term so it will definitely get several incarnations of drive train before it's all said and done.
