    Ill save everyone some more time. Maybe I missed it, but I heard nothing about how these were tested and graded. We have no idea if the producer of the video actually ever used any of these. I would put zero stock in any of the ratings without that.

    Music playing in along with narration, like in this presentation, drives me bonkers. I don't watch videos that drive me bonkers.

    I just saw a vid on a Husqvarna. It was a POS that broke in 100hrs. It's supposed to have a 3 year B to B warrantee. The dealer totally ignored the problem. Don't buy.

    To bad Husqvarna and Briggs doesn't honor their warranty..... I know from experience, they just make up fake excuses that you didn't do maintenance right or abused the product

    None of these will hold up under everyday commercial use. You better spend 8500.00 + to get commercial quality. Hustler, Scag, Exmark, Bobcat, Ferris, just to name a few.

      I use a Scag.According to the dealer average lifespan for private use is over 20 years.

      Yeah my Ariens 52" took a big dump after 500hrs, not impressed with the durability of the FR691v or the drive belt on them, I've replaced it 4 times already.... Seems something is off! I baby this thing and now it's just needing all kinds of repairs! Eyeballing a REAL commercial zero turn with ANYTHING BUT the Kawasaki!

    • @garylittle8985
      @garylittle8985 Месяц назад

      @RussellBrosGarage what issue did you have on your kawasaki engine ? I've heard good and bad on them. I service my friends residential bobcat mower for him. It has over 800 hours on it. It uses a tad of oil now, but I did have to replace a leaky governor shaft seal last year. That is a notorious problem with a high hour kawasaki, it seems.

    • @RussellBrosGarage
      @RussellBrosGarage Месяц назад

      @@garylittle8985 It's use of oil is the main thing, I was a check it every 3-4 mow kind of guy and one time I didn't check it, it was out, which caused the engine to seize up. It also eats up some belts, both drive and deck BUT I mow acres upon acres and that little flimsy Ariens just can't stand up to the beating. Went and priced a 48" SCAG Tiger Cat II with the 26hp Yamaha today. Looking like $9,999.00 will fix my problem lol

    Yeaaaaah. Ooookay.
    None of these are commercial.
    All are supposedly higher end residential.
    These will not hold up to 40+ hrs a week of use. Even with maintenance.
    Please don’t do a video on “best commercial zero turn” on mowers that are NOT commercial.

    All you have to do is look at what is most popular in your area. There is a reason.

    Have had my JD 997 for 11 years and it has proven to be a great asset. It is used to not only mow 6 acres of grass but it is used to clip our pasture fields. The Yanmar Diesel engine has proved to be quite a workhorse and with regular upkeep has proven to be quite trouble free. Also since it is a diesel it fits right in with all of the other farm equipment drawing fuel from just one bulk tank.

    Ill save everyone some time. Stay away from companies whos main sales come from residential units (IE Cadet, Ariens, Dewalt, ETC) and focus on brands who sell more commercial ( IE Toro, exmark, Wright, Walker)
    If you see the brand at home depot or lowes (minus Toro) then its junk and far from commercial.

    • @BeanoNoir

      Toro makes residential units at big box stores, so does Gravely (Ariens), and Bad Boy. You just need to know the different lines, as they are built to different quality standards to command a different price bracket. CC's ZTX and ZTXS lines are too new to say, but they replace the grade 4 through 6 of the Pro Z lineup, which is made up of bomb proof mowers. Toro makes every conceivable type of mower, so good luck navigating that mess of SKUs, but they are built well, if a bit gimmicky. Gravely makes excellent commercial mowers, and so does Bad Boy. The problem is you are comparing $3,500 residential mowers with $10,000+ commercial units, not the brands. In the Zero Turn game, there are far too many companies building mowers from identical parts bins for there to be a "Superior" brand. Wright, Toro, and CC have some uniquely designed units, but not many others do.

    • @Nintendo853
      @Nintendo853 6 месяцев назад +1

      @@BeanoNoir oh for sure, Toro def has a residential lineup, but what i was saying is focus on companies who sell more commercial than residential meaning they focus more on the mowers for people that do this for a career rather than pushing out units at big box stores trying to make an extra buck. Theres is a reason Exmark is preferred 2:1 among landscape pros.

      @@Nintendo853Exmark, Hustler, and Scag are the most popular in my area! Those exmark's are nice but the one I was looking at was 17k. I mow 7 acres and don't do it as a living so I couldn't justify buying it. If I were going into business, I'd definitely be down at my local dealer
