I have to grit my teeth, watching this fellow do some of the things he does! This is a perfect video to show to large groups of people in a safety class, in that everything he does is vastly unsafe. Please learn what PPE is and how to use them...before it maims or kills you. On another note, I personally saw what grinding on the side of a bench grinding wheel, would do. A friend of mine broke one of the shop rules and ground on the side of a bench grinder rock and the rock blew up and sent fragmented rock in a bomb type direction. He lost the tip of his finger and almost an eye and several windows were broken. If I hadn't just raised up to read the micrometer reading I would have been killed. I felt the wind on my face from the ( 2/3 size) of the piece of rock that went by me and went thru a concrete block wall, at the end of my lathe, and continued thru an 8 foot wide hall and thru the glass into the parking lot before it stopped. Thank God there wasn't anyone walking in the hall or it would have been a fatality!
