Hello Everyone!
Today I show you how to make a simple homemade hammer mill using angle grinder. This hammer mill can also be called as hammer mill shredder, corn grinder, corn mill. This diy hammer mill has multiple number of cutting blades inside the hammer mill drum. These cutting blades are rotated by the angle grinder through the chain drive. I step down the angle grinder speed by using the sprockets and chain to increase the torque for this homemade corn grinder. This diy homemade hammer mill is used to grind corn, coal, wood, cattle feed, poultry feed. This diy homemade hammer mill is very useful for making cattle feed, poultry feed. This homemade corn mill is very cheap and simple to make at home. Corn can be very fastly grinded with this homemade machine. This angle grinder hack works good. This is a great design, and I think one can use such a machine at home for very low cost but with reasonable productivity, especially considering the minimal investment, assuming one can weld. So, do you have chickens, or what? Why is it that you need a hammer mill and pelletizer machine? You can make a machine for practically any purpose. One machine can be diversified by adding or taking away attachments. You do great work enjoyed yur video alot. I especially like to see people that don't weld onto a bearing directly but cut a peice of pipe or make some sort of channel...in your case you have used pillow blocks. Even better. Nice machine, I need to build one, cuz I know I'd get alot of use out of it...& I'm not being sarcastic...I'm serious.💥💯💥👌👍👊💪🤙

Great idea! I have two suggestions for you if you want to refine your flails. 1) Use pipe that will make a tight slip fit bushings on the shafts that space your flails. 2) Offset your flails from side to side by one third for more contact with the grain. 3) weld a hex head bolt to the bottom of the flail with the head aligned with the cutting edge. THe hex head should located with tight tolerance to the inside of the barrel. The bolt head has two purposes; A) They "sweep" the inside of the drum screen and B) The weight of the bolts acts as a flywheel.

I love DIY projects and when I saw this I had to watch. Less than 5 minutes in I knew I would never build this machine. Why, because folks you seem to think everyone has all these tools you use in a homeowners workshop. I have a welder, tig, mig, stick and wire. A bandsaw, drill press and several hand drills. I also have a electric metal band saw and a wood band saw, table saw, router table, radial saw, chop saw and miter saw. But nowhere is there a metal lathe, wood lathe, and I have no access to one. So come on folks think about the people watching and actually build items without using all the expensive machinery Please!
