Seb Bouin is such a cool climber, always love seeing him try hard, such inspiring route! I hope this will get some well deserved attention from the pros! Love the editing and sound on this one beautiful with the classical!
@@GiorgosPlanar well, maybe it's just because he's not part of the main competitions in the world cup circuit, but seb is not one of the first names that come up on the news among the best climbers in the world (i mean, not as much as megos, ondra, ghisolfi, schubert), as far as i hear, at least. But I could be wrong
Underrated? Probably the 4th best rock climber in the world, for shure top 5! I would argue that Seb has done more hardest routes in general then Schubert, even if jakob did Perfecto Mundo with this route (among many others) Seb could easily be more consistent and stronger on the rock (and now he's trying Bibligohraphie, which in his opinion confirms this route as full 9b+)!
Don't forget that Jakob is and has always been competition focused all year and ticks off those outdoor routes in between. They are complete opposites in that regard and difficult to compare. Also because Seb prefers to do first ascents and doesn't repeat much 9b and above.
@@Setarkos91 its True! But we are talking about rock climbers here in fact... Not climbers in general (for that there are indeed the comps) and as a rock climber i think right now Seb is superior. Not to disregard Jakob or anything... He is the 5th best rock climber for shure!
The strings soundtrack accompanying the climbing from 7:15 is just perfect and such a nice change from the usual anodyne dross on climbing videos. Camera work and production values on these videos is of such high standard these days, well done.
Seb Bouin is such a wonderful climber. It is really a work of art, both the project and the film. I love the song very much, it is really a good pair with the film. Really cool.
It's really telling when he gets near the top and it is still vertical what is left but you can tell that for him that is the same as walking horizontally, he did it. Great job.
I love everything about this, the quality of the picture, the music, the climb itself. Also, doesn't look like this route is Seb's limit. 9:00 looks amazing!
Brilliant really. Pure climbing of the highest form and elegant clean cinematography. May I say how much I prefer BD's videos compared to North Face's? They feel more honest somehow... Seb being such a real and down to earth guy is certainly helping toward that direction. Well done Seb for the historic send and to everyone involved for beautifully telling this story.
Work of art! Love Seb's style of climbing which often includes generous amounts of drop-knees. Issit a French thing? ;-) His videos never fails to inspire. The one of him on La Rage D'Adam was also a masterpiece. What amazes me the most is how he can be adjusting his fingers on crux moves for what seemed like an eternity & still have enough gas to keep moving! Total machine!! ;-O
Huge job there Seb, this could be the best 9b+ in the world imo, suberbe rock and moves! I thik that Seb right now is probably the 4th best rock climber in the world, for shure top 5! I would argue that Seb has done more hardest routes in general then Schubert, even if Jakob did Perfecto Mundo, i think that with this route (among many others) Seb could easily be more consistent and stronger on the rock (and right now he's trying Bibligohraphie, which in his opinion confirms this route as full 9b+)!
Really cool climb! But why did it take so long to figure out he could climb projects at his local crag? That crag looks DOPE! It seems natural to want to climb all the projects there. Wish that was my local crag!!!
Always disappointed with the duration of the video... I would love to see a 40 minute video of this (or any other) Seb odyssey, as inspirational as always. Allez Seb!
Piece of art.. Both climbing and filming. One of the best climbing videos I've watched
This is incredible! That’s one of the coolest climbs I’ve ever seen
Music was perfect.
After watching this, I get the feeling Bouin could climb just about anything. F'ing insane.
POPOPO MA-CHINE ! 💪
I have wet hands and can‘t imagine how you can hold this crimps. Unbelievable and fucking inspired.

I bet it'll be upgraded - if anyone can climb it!
Most underrated strong climber today, his routes all look great. Definitely would be curious to see how others do on this route, and how they grade it
Why you say underrated? He is unanimously considered among the best in the world

that move at 8:45 is insane. just falling into a hopeful catch
Halfway up the route no less! So dope!
Amazing line, send, and video! Congrats Seb, Yucca, and BD. An instant classic.
stunning and the soundtrack is amazing. thank you.
This is going to be a king line for sure, sick work Seb!
Great film! loved this sooooo much! Way better at telling the story and pure climbing. Inspiring Seb!

Reminded me of the score of the season 6 GOT finale when the strings set in.
do you know what song it is?
@@haxefede It's "With Some Malice" by Francesco D'Andrea - ruclips.net/video/-k59gpr2mSo/видео.html - gotta love shazam ;)
Amazing route and climber. We want extras... This deserved a 1 hour long video
Seb you rock! Excellent video from the beloved Pic Saint Loup, outstanding climbing place.
Always interesting to see that so few of Seb Bouin's hard routes have been repeated by wordclass climbers.
They seems to be intimidating routes.
Starting to think he's a serial sandbagger!
Most of them are around 50-60 m long. It's not really a common type of route and so I get why strong climber don't want to try them
@@paul-emilefrancois3731As a boulderer, I'm not sure if that's long or short?
@@TristanCleveland that’s super long, most outdoor routes are around 20-30 m. When it comes to harder routes, it’s around 40m
@@TristanCleveland it's long, definitely long.
the best. perfect video. merci seb et ton équipe.
At 5min the sequence is so trippy ! Beautiful filming. One of the strongest climber. Doesn’t care about competition, it’s refreshing to see nowadays.
I love this video! So much beauty: the climb, the wall, the music, camera movements.....all super nice!
Magnifique voie magnifique vidéo , splendide et bravo

Ohh This line tells a story by itself. So many style and so beautiful. It is truly a King Line .
This video just got me back into climbing. Thank you
Fantastic climbing sequence, what a movie!

awesome climbing, awesome video, and great music!
I love Seb Bouin tbh, feel like he somehow goes under the radar, do u guys agree? I love to see him go hard though!!
Beautiful!

absolutely incredible route + footage. thank you!!
Magnifique , jeune homme. Toute mon admiration , à la puissance 10 . Alain , 72 ans.
Epic!
This is a fire video

Le Rafael Nadal de l'escalade. Bravo !
Really want to meet seb one day. true hero for me. hero of dedication and obsession
So strong 💪 proud of our French climber!
The route looks crazy hard !! It will take time until someone dare to try it. Very intimidating but quite beautiful line.
Bravo Seb!
Congratulations to Seb on sending DNA!
Hopefully there's a document in the pipeline !

Franchement bravo mec

This Route Looks soooo hard! So stretched out. I thought that the feet are popping out any time 🙌🏼🤘🏽
the rock up close looks like a monet painting, very cool

Wow. I wonder how many times he climbed the 9a+...
What an agony, I really suffered on the last part. And what a mega machine of a climber is Seb.
