I'm an Airbus pilot for a US Airline. Fabulous content. My airline gives just the surface info on systems...as it's all we "need" to know. Your videos are great for explaining more in depth.
Brilliant video..thank you, really helps watching your explanation in-conjunction with the FCOM, I've forgotten a few things and your explanation consolidates everything.
Hello! First of all thank you very much for your work, it s highly appreciated! Second of all, about the pack schematic. I see that you have put that the water is removed after the primary heat exchanger and before going to compressor? From what I know, it goes first to the compressor then to the main heat exchanger and only after that it will go through a heater and then after through a condenser where water is removed and only after that it goes to the turbine. So my question is: is the water removed before the compressor or before the turbine ? Thank you
Thank you very much for your videos, it makes revising systems so much easier. In case of ACSC 2 failure, do you lose the hot air pressure regulating valve?
Hello captain . I just have a confusion about the low pressure air for the air con that connects directly to the mixer unit using the ground connection. Likewise can you use the high pressure ground source that is used for bleed to power the air conditioning system as well? Thanks
Hi, Thanks for the question. Take a look at FCOM LIM: Air Bleed/Cond/Press/Vent. also QRH Supplementary Procedures Engines, Engines start with an Air Start Unit (packs must be off to prevent contamination)
Hi. I have one more silly doubt. Once airborne, Does the air gets precooled through the heat exchanger (before going to Air cycle machine ) or this pre cooled heat exchanger thing comes into picture only on ground? And when aircraft is on ground, and packs are on, that time, Is the process of air conditioning same its just that APU bleed takes place of engine bleed and rest all the process of Air cycle machine is same? would appreciate your inputs. Thanks
Engine Bleed Air is Pre cooled via the heat exchanger (N1 Fan Air) . On the ground the Air cycle machine uses fans driven by the compressor turbine shaft to draw air over the heat exchangers. this is where the re-fuellers stand in the winter! APU air bleed will also go via the Air cycle machine.
Thank you so much.

Thank you for taking the time to comment. Welcome aboard!
This is gold! Feel like I should be paying for this sir! Really appreciate these lectures, thank you. Please keep them coming..
Thanks for the feedback. The channel will be moving to a paid subscription for some of the content so you may get your wish sir!
Simply superb . Throughly explained
Thank you so much 🙂
God bless you.. thankfully for the information

Glad it helped!
It's always nice to watch your videos! I was hoping to see some actual footage of the packs, though...
I hope it helped. If i can get to a pack ill certainly post it here. Thanks for the feedback
Not an easy system to explain…….but you did another amazing job. Well done ! 👍
Im pleased it was useful

Thank you for the question, it’s been a while since I reviewed it so will take a look and get back you you
thx

Hi, thanks for the Question, on looking into the FCOM ACSC 1 Regulates the Hot Air Valve
