A tip: If your XPro or any other device is not appearing in the device list after connecting it using a USB cable, check that your cable is a USB data cable, not just a USB recharging cable that came with some device. In case of XPro, there is no need to remove the batteries or do any other maneuvers than connect the cable to make the trigger appear in the list.

That is a really good point and I wasn't aware of it. I've just bought a Braided USB Type C Cable but it only mentions fast charge on the box and nothing about data transfer.

How can we tell for micro-USB cables if they are charging or data? Trying to update AD200 to use with R200 (Ringflash).

Hi guys, but I have an XPro-S and I had to take out the batteries as indicated in the video (and it's not written anywhere in the PDFs attached to the update files). I use windows 10 pro. So thank you Impossible Creative, without your tutorial I would not have been able to update the firmware

Also, needs to be plugged into a USB 2.0. On my PC 3.0 ports wont connect the trigger.

@@pixelprovideo3586 Oh! This might do it for me!!! Does it have to be USB A 2 to USB C on the trigger?

I had trouble getting the firmware installer to recognize my X Pro N was plugged into my computer, and I found the answer reading the comments: it was recognized when I used a USB A to USB C cable instead of USB C to USB C!

Unable to find any Godox page that provides details on what the current Firmware version is for each product. The link to firmware only seems to lead to PDFs of the manuals. Very frustrating process.

Does anyone have a safe link to download the 7-zip?

I've got a new XProS for my Sony. Can't do this upgrade. Batteries removed. G3 firmware update application loads fine. When I connect the trigger I get the audible sound acknowledging the connection - but nothing visually. Thought it might be the wrong type of cable - went to BestBuy and bought a new one - just for data transfer - same result. Tried this on my PC and my Laptop (both running Win10) and the same results - the trigger doesn't visually show onscreen.

Same problem here. I both downloaded the G2 and G3 launcher. I used the G3 to update the firmware of my AD200pro and it was successful. However, I could not connect the XproC to both G2 and G3 using the same cable. Everytime I plugged the XproC, I noticed something in the device manager, there appears a yellow triagle with "!" and "?" in the Other devices with a "DFU in FS Mode" label. Unfortunately I couldn't find a driver update for windows11 64bit. I tried in the iMac, still G3 can not connect with XproC using with the same cable in updating the AD200pro in PC.

I had major issues upgrading my V860iin with the Godox software. After emailing them I tried their solutions with no luck. I remembered Adorama Flashpoint flashes are just rebranded Godox ones so I used their firmware updater and it worked without any problems for both the flashes and XPro transmitter. It seems the Godox installer was corrupt from their site. So just use the Adorama installers and you should be ok.

No free firmware for X2T to enabled into TCM.
ATG reserved ATG TCM for working pros.

This video is about the XPro trigger, I don't have any experience using the X2T trigger.

@@ImpossibleCreative All TTL transmitters or transceivers do the same thing.
They control power wirelessly in 2.4GHz TTL/M operations.
XPro & XPro II have ATG TCM which many do not.

What would you recommend as a better design? This process is straightforward to me.
