I have lived in Zimbabwe the whole of my life. I have done a lot of research in trying to understand the difference between Rhodesia mindset and Zimbabwe mindset. If you look at the infrastructure, the ZESA, Road, Rail and dams, including the industry which is key for the development of our country, most of it was built by Rhodesians. The system was 98% formalized and it benefited even the marginalized. The Zimbabweans mindset is mostly centered on me myself and i. If you give me USD million, I would rather build 2 mansions in Borrowdale. Our wealth is too selfish. It does not benefit even my own children because they cant earn money from a mansion in Borrowdale. Thats why no one is staying in those mansions. Most of the children are now living in countries of our former colonizers Because in those countries they believe in Production not just building mansions. We must put money into equipment, like innscor, delta and PPC just to mention a few. People in the diaspora must form consortiums and invest in Mining like Zimplats Mimosa etc. Guys this is 2024, lets think big. Building mansions worth 4 million without the industry is a waste of resources.
Thank you for that comment. I’ve always said that people have money, they just don’t put it together for the good. Ive seen a community raise R50k over a weekend to bury someone but the same community will never raise the same amount of money to build businesses or send kids to high education. Its sad that we care more about the dead than the living
Harsh truth right there. While most of us are busy complaining, others will be thriving in that very same environment. It shows the power of mindset and adaptability.
Lets not forget that not everyone can thrive in the current situation. In any chaotic situation there will always be someone benefitting. If mindset and adaptability were enough we wouldn't have so many Zimbos in the diaspora in my opinion. The challenges in Zim are not about money, they're about other issues we all know very well. While these issues persist, whatever opportunities present themselves will only benefit the few. Not everyone is complaining, others are genuinely giving it their all but it's tough.
@ChocolateThundah89 this. I would go on to say that I doubt there can be an optimal community that is 90% entrepreneurs. We need those workers. In fact the majority of the population should be workers. Otherwise whatever business the entrepreneur begins will not scale. How will it scale is everyone is an entrepreneur?
Zimbabwe has good money in circulation. You just need to go out there and talk to the right people. You will definitely find a business niche. Learn how to network, and you will find where your skill set fits. This is the right time to make money in Zimbabwe before the big investors come in. But make sure that you have your own accommodation before you decide to come back home.
People are making money indeed. Someone once said this to me, "Don't say things are tough in Zim, say 'I don't have a plan' instead." We have just to change our perspectives to be able to start making money.
As long as we keep a negative mindset, u will never see and enjoy the new Zimbabwe. Lets starting loving our country and have positive mindset to build our own country. Noone else is coming to save us, but ourselves. Love yo content and yo enthusiasm bro

I like your content. I don’t know if you are open for suggestions but i would like to make one with regards to your website. First of all its a good platform from how you describe it but personally i did not like how as soon as i opened it there was a promt to ask me all my personal details. I equate it to downloading a mobile app and they promise a free trial but as soon as you attempt to activate the free trial they will first direct you to a page where one needs to enter their banking information. For me when i see this kind of setup i immediately go in defensive mode and i completely withdraw myself from the entire experience. My suggestion going forward is that you showcase some of the stuff goin on there have the likes of myself more interested and trusting before we commit to signing away all our personal information
In Zimbabwe you just need to know who wants what and where to get the stuff, whatever you do. Problem starts when you try to make everyone do what you think is profitable

I love your 2 classes: the to be employed class is a much bigger inspite of massive joblessness for the past 20 years or more. The desire for hard and quick cash is an incentive for idleness and donor dependency
Two types of people in Zimbabwe...the one that are creating jobs and the one that create jobs if I can hear you properly .l think we really should be even at colleges/,university teach students how to create jobs

Who said there's no money in Zim though? Money is there but it's not easily accessible to everyone. Some people have hustle but some are salary-people, the latter are generally having a tough go of it. Thanks for a good video though.
Great video but the gold mining side is not that simple. My dad was on the mines and ran them. We were never wealthy. The extraction of gold is a long process and you get very little of it after all that. After selling it and paying labour etc. It is the big mining companies that make money.
It's not that people have disposable income to buy fast food it's that there so many power outages that you have to buy fast food. You can't keep too much in the fridge cause the power outages make the meat go bad. You can't budget a lot of water for cooking a ton of meals cause there isn't enough clean water for that either. Plus if you are out of gas you will buy the fast food cause sometimes the nearest gas store is closed and you can't afford to go to town cause if you do by the time you get back the day will be basically over depending on how far you live from town.
I'd like to be one of your relatives Bro😭 My desire is to retire early and adopt an off-grid lifestyle. Yeah I have a stable job but I've hit a plateau. profound, there is a hustle happening on the ground that people are not reaqlising because they are waiting on formal jobs
Mkuru most people are being supported ne diaspora.I remember talking with friends that people back home enjoy our money more than isu varikuishanda.
You are 100% right. I will make a video about it too.

Diaspora still send money back home but not as much as they used to. Diaspora buying power is no longer as it used to but most diaspora people like you are still delusional lol😅
It’s our fault the people in diaspora spoon feeding them.
@@mwanawemuporofita5610 what can we bro
Thanks Ruva organic for the updates, great stuff
Absolutely love this. It is the story of alot of African countries. Am a Malawian, Living in Zambia and l see this in both places. There is the whining and complaining camp, the one that is always complaining about the economy and the failing government, letting life pass them by. And then there are those who actively seek and grab opportunities and its like they live in their own universe. Which side you fall is completely your choice.
a certain percentage of people are making it in Zim but majority are struggling and most are suffering from dependancy syndrome. The people in diaspora are funding most peoples lives and at some point i was one of them and luckily i escaped. But thank you for the insight your posts are very infomative
You're 100% correct. I escaped too 😂😂😂
That's true improper distribution of income.......the rich remain the rich whilst the poor remains the poor
Diaspora remittance is an all time high of USD 2 billion ,
@@pradomovies are those numbers quaterly or yearly?
Bro I just turned 19 I am doing A Level and iam tryna make money you motivated me bro thank you.
Bro, I’ll probably end up living my retirement in Zimbabwe instead of Portugal like I had planned if I continue watching your videos 😂 Your message immensely helps demystifying the Western idea that Africa (in general terms) is not worth considering. 👍🏽
Dont be fooled his just trying to get views the reality is very different
when life become turf one will try to think deep how to survive ,it is when the opportunities for others will open up to make money.
This is exactly what I know to be true about Zim, many people don’t realise that this is the greatest time to start investing in Zim!
People said this 10, 15 yrs ago but things haven’t improved
@@noblegensurg I’m from bots and I have a few friends who are investing in property there and they are doing really well. Even I am considering Zim !
Chicken dzine mari, I'm doing them in Namibia as one of my side hustles, both dzemazai nenyama
Great, thanks for sharing :)
I was born in zim moved to the uk when I was young and then moved back to zim just after college
My mother was a very powerful successful business woman in byo I got a chance to meet a lot of influential people there and I used to spend a lot of time with her workers I used to help her friends with things that involved large amounts of money moving money from point a to b
I saw a lot I got to learn a lot and I’m gonna say this a lot of people are making huge amounts of money in Zimbabwe the problem is the money doesn’t circulate within the government but privately a lot of people are making huge amounts of money more money than we see in the west
Like you said people who are not afraid to hustle are leaving life and those who are waiting for official jobs are suffering money is there in zim and this is the time for everyone to invest
I love your 2 classes: the to be employed class is a much bigger inspite of massive joblessness for the past 20 years or more.
The desire for hard and quick cash is an incentive for idleness and donor dependency
Thank you baba for special message
You're welcome
Had to finally subscribe. Love the content and insight. Thank you
Thanks
Two types of people in Zimbabwe...the one that are creating jobs and the one that create jobs if I can hear you properly .l think we really should be even at colleges/,university teach students how to create jobs
Those who stayed learnt to adapt now we the diaspora folks have no idea were to start lol but In sha Allah we will figure it out
Inshallah
This is rather interesting, thank you for putting out there🎉, I does open our minds to new ways of making money, one only needs to apply its mind, what works in your city/country…but the concept is clear and I absolutely appreciate it.
Excellent video. Keep going my guy. I’m enjoying your content 👏🏾
Thank you! Will do!
You are brilliant 👏 thanks my friend
There’s a lot of money in Zim. Anything linked to food, kids and events.
Meeting a lot of expats from Australia, New Zealand, USA, Russia and the UK. They are leaving their home countries to make money and live a good life here. So I also came back home and I’m doing the work.
Mari yakapusa ukaziva peuiwana. Imali ilula guys. Lol

I appreciate your offer to relatives to start up a biz - chickens, I have come to acknowledge that some projects require logistical planning.

My brother - you have nailed it
Thank you 😀
Thank you awesome content as always. Really look forward to your videos 🎉
Great content 👌 broe... respect 🙏
I want someone who wants to start a content production company. I have the skills but not the capital. I can see that this is gonna turn into a billion dollar industry in Zim in the next 10 years! Godwilling, i can end up with the start capital as i am working towards it myself.
how much do you need?
@ashlienatalie like $5000 is a good start
@@isitreally02 I can assist with that. I will be in Zimbabwe in a couple of weeks.
Are you currently a registered company?
Do you currently have an experienced team in place?
Can you break down the 5000 capital structure needs?
If you are just starting out, its still fine, we can work out the above, however what's your vision and potential plan of attack/content ideas that will be competitive and potentially differentiate you as the field becomes concentrated soon (mostly likely due to Starlink)
Zimboz be hustling here and there and keeping things moving
As someone who has lived born and bred here ama2k as you elders call us.....i can say so far i dont understands why people cry too much....i come from rags but my move so far is as steady as i would expect just change mentality
Zimbabwe is full of opportunities however the majority of us have become thieves in one form or another
you earned a sub
Thank you
I think I found my new favourite channel
❤❤❤doing this thing one man is nuts nice bro ❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Thank you sir, this is powerful, can you please make more videos on how people are making money in Zimbabwe
people are killing each other in mining if ur ready for blood in ur hands , then farming you need to invest as much as you can .
It doesn't matter if Zimbabwe it's poor but the the mindset of Zimbabwean we hustle hard and we know how to make money
My mind has really changed about Zimbabwe.... I think the government is doing well, zvinotendwa 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Nigerians are millionaires left right and center and make loads of money. Have you been to Nigeria? It is a shithole... but Nigerians are making money.
What you are celebrating is the collapse and descent into Nigeriarization of Zimbabwe in the name of "zimbabweans are making money".
By the time this thing is done ZESA will will be gone, running water will be gone. Roads will be gone. Pretty much everything will be gone and you and your money will be living inside your yard, sure, with 100inch TVs and Buggattis but that illusion of success will be just that. Step out of that yard and that Buggatti and 100inch TV will not mean much when potholes, sewage, ruins of hospitals and schools greet you.
I moan the death of my country. The narrow minded, short sighted thinking has brought a once great country down and people are cheering because they can buy Chicken Inn drumsticks. Nxa.
🚮
Doing well where
😂😂😂😂 zvakaoma hazvo
He said "I was confused"...don't forget that before you get into trouble putting money into Zim. The video is misleading in some respects, enough to mislead those who are not in zim
This us not only happening in Zim its also the same in South Africa its more hustle then anything
Good staff therey brother
If you are not exposed to it , if you are not actively seeking to be exposed to it , you would say it’s all lies
Thanks my brother thats true
Its good to give a positive message to pupil to work hard , asi ngatitaurei chokwadi . The indrive guy sells houses for 500k US dollars unogona kuita gore usina kana kutengesa imba imwe chete
But when ever he sells he can buy a stand. And I'm sure that's why he has another side hustle of Uber to cover the monthly bills.
In Zimbabwe do not target the poor when selling products. I sell mobile phones, if u sell those itel, u will never make it. Sell iphone, samsung and Huawei. About 300usd people buy
Thts true if you believe in working for a white man ,then life in Zimbabwe will kick your ass.zimbabwe economy needs pple who blv in themselves.
Amazing content. Thank you so much for the insights .
You just gained a subscriber.
I was at Borrowdale yesterday, The Village walk Mall.....I was like " What's going on?"..
Zimbabwe just needs one to have the right mindset. People are buying land and houses.
Yes in Zimbabwe people who already have money are making a lot of money...
I just came back to zim from the uk I’m based in ruwa I like your video it’s the first one of yours that I’ve watched but I’ll definitely be watching more. I’m in ruwa and have previous done transport and farming. Please get in contact let’s talk business thanks
Keep up the good work
Thanks, will do!
but i dont know why i like to have a friends from zimbabwe.......i just love the people
Who said there's no money in Zim though?
I'd like to be one of your relatives Bro😭
My desire is to retire early and adopt an off-grid lifestyle. Yeah I have a stable job but I've hit a plateau. That means I'm actually regressing as time goes instead of progressing. I'll try out indrive as well to see how it goes.
Thanks very much for the content 🙏
Eye opening. Thank you
So glad!
Come to Lesotho 🇱🇸 and we work on farming 🙏🏾
Now you understand the Harare hustle, l have been following you and saw alot of mistakes. Now you will make it .
😂 thanks
Currently in Harare, been asking myself the same question. The cost of living here is so high. I am Kenyan and things here are like 2-3x the price of things in Kenya. It's even worse by the casual use of the USD. I keep converting to KES and getting shocked. I am also seeing lots of fancy high end and brand new cars. I don't get it! The hotel I am staying has a chicken Inn nearby and it's packed from 7 am to 9 pm.
No nini unafanya in Zim? See where you can enter to make dollars and come enjoy in Kenya.

There’s something this gent is aiming for. He hasn’t achieved it yet. It’s only a matter of time.
