Matt might slap his name on a lot of things but I respect the fact he's hands-on with the design and is confident enough with the products to use them live, which is more than I can say about some other artists and their signature stuff.
I bought a Matt Heafy epiphone 7 string a year ago. The quality is unbelievable, Fit, finish, materials, hardware, everything! I've owner a few Les Pauls over the years and none even come close
Thank you Matt for considering your fans bank accounts. It’s always frustrating when a signature guitar comes with a 5k price tag. Bjorn had the same mentality when designing his with Epiphone and I have both of his signature models and loved the accessibility of the price.
I literally laughed out loud when I came across Taylor Swift's first signature guitar year ago and it was like $10k. With all the fans she and how many girls see could get into guitar playing youd like she'd start with a easy access price. Thankfully someone figured it out and her guitars go for a few hundred now
I own one of these and it's the best Epiphone they make right now in my opinion. It keeps up with my Gibson models. The pickups are actually great too.
I started playing 7s in 1999, and always wondered why Gibson and epiphanies didn’t really get on board. I would have bought this as a teen had it been available. I’m an Ibanez guy for 7s. Love the wizard necks better than any other profile.
As someone who owned the original MKH 7-string and more or less sold it years later because the "baseball bat" was too thick. Thank you for thinning it out, Matt 😅 I'll get one of the new models somewhere down the line.
Love the JAZZIII''s but i prefer the XL. Used the regular JIII's for years but switched over to the larger version for a better grip and it did not slow me down one bit.
Honestly its nice hearing someone who can just talk shop. So many artists today sound just mumble, have poor vocabulary or just sound fuked up like 90’s rockers lol Matt just knows the stuff and he makes sure the small time window is maximized lol
If Gibson were smart the'd make their players play epiphones on stage instead of gibsons. Make people see that they aren't low brand imitations. Regular gibsons are very expensive right now and regular players can't afford them. Also epiphones I'm some instances play just as well and if not better than some Gibsons.
.... once upon a time there was this guy who played only one guitar, also held together with electrical tape kinda' like yours , throughout his entire career. guess he couldn't
666 is mine ❤️🔥, like this guitar, a real avatar of the devil. I really want to hold such an instrument in my hands and it would be even cooler to create something with it 🤘🏼🪽

Getting some of these picks as we speak lol
@@John--they’re good. I used em, but I slightly prefer jazz XL
Mark Holcomb is the same way

Bjorn still uses his signature guitars for his lives too!

I don't even know his music but he sure is on the ball! Enjoyed it!
You should really check out the music lol
If you’re into the heavier side of metalcore then give them a shot. At the very least for their musicianship.
This guy could work at a cattle auction
He actually did at one point in is youth
It’s a Florida thing.
Heeyyy? Hamanamanananammnannannammananaann ammmmamanana mamamannnannaaa
He might be capable of selling swamp land with mine fields.
He’s a nascar driver now
I had always been told having an active and a passive at the same time was impossible, cool to see someone figured it out finally
it's been a thing since forever

I’m with you way prefer xl
Love Ya Matt!! And Thank You for not forgetting us Left Out Lefties!!!🤘
I put fishman fluence moderns on my anaconda burst les paul and i have to say that the fluences are the absolute clearest pickups ive ever played.
I didn’t know Matt was 7 feet tall. 🤘🤘

That dude is so laser-focused; I envy the way his brain works.
Tweaked Matt 😄
Super free flowing, high as a kite
Matt definitely doesn't tweak pal.
He does mma style training. If he was tweaking, he’d be dead by now.
@@karterestill take a joke dude.
Breathe Matt, breathe! 😅
Yeah he is definitely on 11! 😁
That guitar must be sounding so Heafy 😂😂😂
i wish i was in metallica too
5:26 "it's like people on do things cause the get payed, and that's just really sad"
Matt looks like Joseph Gordon Levitt's metal cousin.
Why is everybody switching to Fishman? Are they really that much better than EMG?
Idk about "better", but they do have more versatility.
Tried one with them and it was mediocre at best. I guess Fishman is paying some good scratch
What's with the black tape wrapped around the guitar!? 🤔
It's the double strap across his right shoulder.
It's the dual strap he's talking about that help balance the weight
.. ridiculous.
@@barrybjerke9353 stfu
Somebody sure loves to talk about his guitar..😉
I mean who wouldn’t? Really show his loves in guitar
He's passionate about what he does and wants to make the best budget guitar he can
Professional guitarist likes to talk about his guitars. More news at 11.
Somebody sounds jealous not to have their own signature model
The strap around the guitar is the only thing I dont like.Just add a strap button back there,I would love that then, very usable.
Hate the heal...prototype was better till he was told he couldnt do it

he talks like tom morello
Repete ?
Anyone noticed that his talking demeanor isnt normal here?
He has adhd.
This is guitar made in USA or China?😃
China.
Never got into Trivium. Not regretting it either
The crusade album was great. Never like much else.
@@MothmanCold that's like the opposite of most trivium fans 😅😅
Thanks for sharing.
Just listen to ascendency and shogun you'll be just fine
.... once upon a time there was this guy who played only one guitar, also held together with electrical tape kinda' like yours , throughout his entire career. guess he couldn't
....offord anything else and called it Frankenstein cause' it was so ugly but it stayed in tune somehow....he did o.k.
That strap down the middle … GOTTA GO BRO…. have some self respect lol
He has more respect to himself, that’s why his taking care of his left shoulder
evertune and fluence on a les paul is probably the the most ugly combo ive ever seen
