I really like the MB2 roller. Its unbelievable for upper back tightness. I've used it in other areas like legs. Its quite versatile. I never thought about rotation or using it on the floor. I was doing against a wall. I got the benefit of doing squats at the same time. I get really bad muscle knots in and around my shoulder from accidents. I believe pull ups tore the Labrum in right shoulder. It was 7 years before the pain had risen enough for me to get it checked out. Because of the injury wasn't dealt with at the time it healed bad. Resulting in scar tissue in the shoulder and every muscle in my right shoulder to compensate.
I have to say that the most impressive part the fluency of the kyle Stull . I mean he really spoke about the problem , the product , and the demonstration very smoothly and with almost no effort . A true masterpiece of video that was .
I am certainly going to try this. My Thoracic Lumber junction is extremely tight…so tight even the chiropractor has a tough time getting it to adjust. I should be able to squeeze this into my work day even.

Didn't work too well for me. Not sure if body size makes a difference as I'm a 250 pound bodybuilder but I got more out of a foam roller than the peanut
Just curious what you would recommend for pain relief from compression fractures of T6,T7,T8&T9? So far nothing has helped at all. Medications included.
So I do have a ? I broke T5 & T6. I have alot of tightness always!! It feels like someone has twisted my muscle and NEVER LET GO!! I also have spinal stenosis and osteoporosis. Will this help. I don't know if I would like laying on that roller, because that area is very tender!!
I have a herniated disk where the lumbar joins the bottom of the thoracic spine. Would these specific exercises work to help push that disk back in? Would I position the double massage ball right at the bottom of the ribcage to do that?
Honestly if you haven't already, ask your doctor, showing this video. It's unique to the individual, between location and origin of the injury. A nerve specialist would give the best answer: better than a PCP or Chiro.
@@DM-qe1dr yes. It is much better now but I suspect that sleeping on a side with a pillow between my legs and a thin pillow under the ribbs... and NOT sleeping on my arm....did the trick. It is also important to not keep your arm too bent or stretched. In few months I was way better. I also use a S plastic stick to press my trigger points between the scapula and the spine.
@@DM-qe1dr It seams that sleeping on your side in the fetal position is not enough because your legs will not be on the line with your spine. Also the top of the spine will not be in the line with your middle and lower spine. And also your hand will be in a strange position, forcing the muscles of the scapula to stay stretched over the night for a long time....Bob and Brad channel is very good at dealing with this.
Hello. I have a stumper for you. Maybe. When I lay flat on the floor I can hear crackling either in my thoracic spine or my cervical spine every time I breathing or exhale mainly when I exhale. I’ve held my cervical spine and pushed it in different spots to see if the crackling would stop but it didn’t so then I tried engaging my rhomboids and breathing and when I do this the crackling stops until I release my upper back muscles then the crackling begins again. Thoughts? I’ve been told I have costochondritis however I am already seeing a physical therapist for this and I’m seeing some improvement but I’m not there yet.
Exactly what I needed but I think either my pancreas, spleen, or stomach is causing the initial pain for whatever reason. When I performed this exercise I got instant relief in the thoracic region but I was surprised that the side that was most tender was the opposite side I've been have the pain on. I've been having pain on the left lower back just to the left of the spine that wrapped around the lower rib cage and abdomen area. I've been having trouble walking for years, mainly with my right side. I just don't know what to do because doctors can never tell me anything. Where could I learn more about what causes thoracic issues?
Wow just one round of this really released my thoracic area that had been pinchy and hurting pretty badly for weeks. Thanks a bunch!
Really useful. Two tennis balls in a sock.and twisted would work as a makeshift tool to help. Thanks for the tips.
Thank you

Miracle worker. Improved my spine twist range immensely. Thank you
Just purchased the MB2 after seeing this vid. I improvised with tennis balls for now and it helped. Thank you!

Do these work on a bulging disk in thoracic spine? I have one bulging at T8-T9

I am using such a small ball on a wall and man...this is so painful in the thoracic area. It is like the ball is made out of steel.
Did it ever get any easier for you? That’s how it is for me so not sure if I’m using too firm of massage ball…
