to all the critics here who did not vote for the award winners, Catherine did not ask to be in ALNM, it might not have been produced if she had not accepted the part. there are always actors nominated who are superb, and I'm sure Catherine and her parents were thrilled that she was nominated and showed their support. Catherine is happy with her life and family,and props to her for showing up 8 performances a week and being so appreciative of her welcome to Broadway!

When I saw a tiny clip when people were concerned about Catherine I could tell she was not drunk or drugged because bi-polar is a very hightened hysteria. Everything around you is like a dream and its impossible to switch off. Its obvious that Catherines personality and humour prevails. She is an allround lovely girl and when you are manic you do not lose your personality but it is totally exhausting. Eating and sleeping goes out of the window, This is only my view as a person that has bipolar

In the show, her performance is radically different, so don't think she is like this every night. She actually does an effective and appropriate reading of it and she is very, very good in this role.

I saw this last night with Bernadette Peters and Elaine Strictch and it was phenomenal. Catherine-Zeta ones doesn't hold a candle towards Bernadette. I think Bernadette should have been immediately cast as Desiree, not her.
