Got the vyke's Warspear and its absolutely madness i was planning to go str/faith but till this point i only invested in vigor and Faith cuz i was using mainly incantations i started as confessor. After getting this spear i decided i need to go dex/faith so currently i am in capital. I commenting because i liked this build i will make this build slowly and steadily.
I tried a frenzy build a few playthroughs ago and enjoyed it thoroughly. Well done, sir. Drip, I'm currently using (full disc. I saw it somewhere else, so I can't take credit) Banished Knight Helm, Champion Pauldron, Zamor Brac, Bull-Goat Greaves. Dope!!!
Dude I know this is 4 months late but the drip you just said is crazy give me mad max kinda vibes but I didn’t have everything so I kinda tampered with it and I wanna share it with you here (if you see it) but I did the greathelm, champion pauldron, bandit manchettes. And the prisoners trousers and I though it looked dope another one although more basic I did was the full veterans set with the greathelm as well. But wanted to say thank you for the inspiration though it’s a sick outfit

Raptors black feathers (both in the same cave so if you look up a guide for the cave, forgot the name sorry, just explore it completely btw it’s a two boss fight area cave 3. Zamor bracelets 4. Confessor boots Thus giving you a pretty sick outfit

I'm trying to have three builds ready for the DLC, and the ones I'm coming up with just aren't as fun as I thought they'd be. I've wanted to do a run with Vyke's war spear for awhile, so I'm very excited to give this a try!
@@pastorgainzgames having a blast with it! The build I was trying before just could NOT get past the red wolf in Raya lucaria, no matter how hard I tried. Grabbed Vyke's war spear, and took out the red wolf, moongrum, and Rennala in under 20 minutes.
Naginata + Flame Art is a good alternative to the Vyke Spear, has the same wielding requirements but with the added benefit of changing its damage and scaling type. I prefer using the Flaming Strike on it. Does really good damage, only problem are flame resistance enemies so you could in theory just switch its damage type to faith when in a high-fire resistance area
Broo i wanna use this build cuz im just bored in new game plus 3 cuz i dont wanna restart in new game😭but i hate the spear moveset, but i dont think there's good alternatives. But this sounds like a dream build cuz its new, cool cuz of frenzy stuff, AND good in pvp + pve

@@pastorgainzgames yeah, the build wasnt doing enough damage for me so i just turned it into a lightning/dragonlords cragblade build and that worked alot better for me
I was asking that my spear is just always spewing fire and on heavy attacks if i have my seal on offhand it will do both my selected incantation(if offensive)and its attack. Version 1.12.1 is it a bug or intended feature?
What would you change then? It clearly performs and everything in this build is NG+5. But I’m curious what you would change instead of just contributing nothing to the conversation. I find that most of the time people who comment like this just want a reaction. But if you can “fix” the build then please do for the benefit of the community. I personally really enjoyed the build but let us know how you would make it not “trash”.
@@pastorgainzgames 60 vigor and 30 endurance,less mind,40 faith 60 dex.What about talismans,I think spear talisman or talisman for damage from jump attacks are better than Godfrey talisman.Armor could be better,but anyway fashion is more important.

Maybe the stats could be min maxed a bit but as far as jump attacks I didn’t use many of those which is why the talismans are the way they are. Also thanks for answering in a calm manner. Hmmmm maybe use the fingerprint shield (madness theme) and put more into endurance

Yeah incantations celebrity faith and I believe the Speer scales with dex
