Even if Luke didn’t like kids he still should have been told that he has a kid. People change their minds when it’s their own kid. Unless she thought that he would hurt the baby he still had a right to know. Anna had no right to keep that from him
Anna behaved very selfishly towards Luke; he had a right to know that he had a kid. He would have had the chance to be a good father - and I know Luke would be a good father from the way he always was with Rory. He would have really loved April 🥰😊
She selfishly BLAMED Luke, when that wasn't the reason she didn't tell him. She didn't tell him because she didn't KNOW who knocked her up. This 'Luke hated kids' crap was something she made up late to make herself feel better.
i kinda hate how they are making it about money. Luke had a right to know his kid. And April had a right to know her father. It's not just about money. I'm sure April was wondering who her father was and why he wasn't there. A child thinking that her parent just didn't want to know her can be emotionally devastating. That's why she went through all this trouble to find him.
Thats not why she kept it from Luke, she didn't know who was the father. So instead of saddling a kid with someone who might not be their actual father.
I completely dislike Anna. Her attitude about Lorelai is disgusting. She just make me so mad. She cruel and selfish and has been since the first time you see her.
My God, you can't do that, woman! Both the father and the kid had a right to know about each-other. I get that she was probably overwhelmed at first (despite her self-reliant attitude), but you can't just keep the two from each-other because it's more convenient for you.
@dietdrpepper15 Yes! One more reason to get back in touch, regardless of how uncomfortable it may be for her... After all, it wasn't just about her anymore from that point on. Worst case scenario, she secretly could have gotten a tiny hair for the DNA sample and then decided what to do. 🤷🏽♀️
well i wonder if she needed dna testing done? obviously she didn't know for sure who the father was if april had to figure it out of 3 contenders. which says a lot about the state of luke and anna's relationship at the time april was conceived (there were other men in the picture, possibly infidelity going on). anna clearly didn't even care enough to find out who the father was... that is how much she cared about her kid having a dad, or even knowing who her dad is for her life. suuuper selfish and low character
In Anna's case she didn't KNOW which of the guys she was banging knocked her up, and probably didn't want to saddle a guy with a kid that might not be his. She made of that fake excuse that Luke didn't like kids to make herself look better.
I read a comment from someone where Lorelai and Anna are alike when it comes to them not telling the father about their kids. Anna never told Luke about April but fought for her to see her and wants to be a dad. Lorelai tols Chris about Rorh and he chose to stay away.

"Anna"tiene un parecido similar a "lorelai",ambas cabello oscuro, ojos azules bastante bonitos, muy bellas ambas,la diferencia es que "Anna",tuvo una mala actitud con "Luke",al negarle saber de su hija.
I just really dislike this whole Anna/April storyline. Doesn’t it kind of take away the mystery and significance to early story telling with his romance with Rachel? How did this lady fit into the plot if he had been so strung on his first love then
Again. The glasses are empty. So empty, u can tell. Theres absolutely no tea in the glasses. No offense, im a Gilmore Girls super huge fan. Just cant handle the empty cups.
Honestly, I would have flipped a lid as Luke. You LIED to me about my child and made me miss out on over a decade of her life, time I will NEVER get back!!!!! And then I learn about her through her and not you?! Would you have ever told me? Or did you selfishly plan to deprive us of each other our whole lives 😡
It seems so out of character how nice and forgiving he is towards Anna after 12 YEARS of lies. Compare that to how he flips when Christopher leaves a voicemail when Lorelai did nothing wrong. This is where Luke started to feel less well written to me, too inconsistent.
