Hi! I've stated the 992 - it is model code. ES does insane times with 991. Their 992 program is good too, we have a "remote competition" with pretty close times.
Dave Briegs' AIM car has done 8.43 iirc.

I like how they make it look they totally redesigned the Porsche engine when all they did was put in aftermarket rods and stronger head bolts. Thats like the most basic upgrade you can do to an engine.

Aren't the 992 twin turbos capable of running e85? If so, have there been conversations about tuning different maps or flex fuel tuning?
we don't have the e85 available here... as for the fueling system capabilities - we have not maxed it out yet.
working on the billet manifold as well, we have good port fuel setup for 991 and finalizing one for 992

Stock it only has 41hp more than a GT-R, it needs both, it's AWD you can only lighten so much before you gotta start removing components.

"The engine should last 2500 1/4 mile passes" 0.25 x 2500 = 625 miles. Doesnt sound like much at all.
Thats 625 launches. In car terms, that a lot! Most car companies and even premium ones void warranty on their cars if you have done more than certain launches, Porsche is only a handful of car brands that doesn’t have such thing
Imagine the pressure you putting on the engine, differentials, gearbox etc every time you launch…now imagine that with more power and torque with every launch. Thats a reliable car if it holds up with that many launches
