Exotic car rentals, it seems you have to have a minimum of 5 million people in your rental area or be in a pretty strong tourist area, And the lowest price dies a slow painful death

I live in Denver and I’ve had nothing but horrible experiences. I’ve literally never rented a car from the damn app. Every. Single. One. Cancelled my request within the last 15 minutes. Sk after like a 30 minute signup just to use the app, I needed a car for a drive to Aspen so that’s like 2-3 hours away. Gonna return it the next day. I started trying to rent a vehicle 3 days before I left, Turo sends the request to the owner and they have like 6 hours to accept or deny, and like clockwork they’d deny every time at the last minute. 👆🏻 This whole scenario has played out 5 times.
I've had the opposite experience. C8's, Hellcats, 911's, all for a few hundred a day, most of them pretty new and aside from 1 instance of chorded tires, all were in good condition.
@@TheBrianFlanagan I’ve had the same experience. I had one guy tell me he was canceling my car but since he didn’t want to get charged I needed to cancel. I told him to F off and it was a big fight. I never understood rentals, if I’m spending hundreds of dollars a day for a car I want to drive more than 100 miles in a day. So you get less than two hours of driving and then pay $1.30 extra per mile after that? That Supra rental had to be much more than 120$ unless you barely drove it.
There's many reasons to rent, you may want to just test drive it for a couple of days, you may only be in town a couple of days like Rob was - is he supposed to just buy a car for 3 days of driving? If you're just enjoying ripping the car through the canyons 100miles/day is plenty. If you can't buy an exotic yourself, what's your alternative? Go to an exotic rental and you get the same 100 miles but you pay $1000 or $1500/ day.
The interest on 10 loans would be nuts. You'd have to run for years before that was even paid off and you begin to maybe make a buck and with everything else you mentioned there's no way this person is coming out in front with this plan alone.
In theory they're each bringing in money and paying their own financing (including interest) *shrugs*. Still seems like a big gamble to me. You won't know your gains/losses until you sell.
turo is meant for people who have cars they don't use much and need some extra money to pay bills. the depreciation is going to happen regardless, the payment is due regardless. so all that "overheard" is there regardless but putting it on turo means you can at least make it pay for itself so it's less of a burden. or buy a bunch of 10-15 year old cars that already hit depreciation rock bottom and rent them out for half the rate car rental places charge and you're golden.
I know someone who had a car on Turo. He really wanted a 911. $60k-ish used price, payments were about $1k/mo. All he really wanted was someone to help make pay for him. Rent it out 2-3 times a month and it cut his payment down to Camry levels. Worked for him until he sold it a year and a half later. I couldn't deal with the fear of someone potentially abusing the heck out of my car that is my personal car, not a business asset.

He doesn't rent his own cars, for starters. Noah (his partner) had the cash up-front to finance the first exotic cars (company cars, not personal cars) for the business, and they opened with just that. Stocks are a good way to make money, fairly straight forward to double your money, but you have to play a longer term game there, it's not overnight. If you could find a way to fund your business initially (eg. a business loan) that could start you off like he did. Or you can self-fund by selling one of your classics.

Nope. Glendon is gonna go broke with his 30 cars. The Real rental companies are going down also.
Hit That thumbs up 👍 Awesome video 👍
I do not think it is worth it to put car on turo, especially exotic car
good vid
Cyber truck will not have half of these cons. Just sayin
I love how Rob "signs off" like 4 or 5 times every video.
"Rob Ferretti...." Tangent
A minute later
".... anyway, Rob Ferretti..." Tangent again
3 minutes later
".... So, Rob Ferretti..." Plugs product
A minute or two later
".... Alright, Rob Ferretti, see you next time"
Lol.
Rob shoots the majority of the videos in one take. No editing. Just shoot and post.
I'm envious of his speaking abilities. He can talk for 10-15 minutes straight about a subject, and rarely goes off on unrelated tangents.
@@straybullitt yeah he's definitely got above average speaking skills especially considering he's on camera AND doing the camera work and needs to be entertaining, not just blandly reading some article he saw somewhere.
Rented a few cars from Turo. Absolute trash.
Hahaha, what do you hear about Scotland?, they aren’t that drunk Rob, they can drink at 18!!!!! Hehehehee, I know where you are coming from though, they do know how to drink real well up there!
LOL
Person would have to be truly dumb to loan for 9 cars and thinking turo will make you fortune
Putting 250 grand into bitcoin is more effective long term
There's a lot of $$$ to be made from uneducated people.Go Turo!
scotland 18 years old to drink
Hey Rob, how can I win a spot on the Scotland trip? I would make an excellent guude and translator

Rob as a 27 year old male how can i make the least amount of mistakes and make the most profit legally. Would you teach someone one on one how to do what you do? I have a few classic cars i would like to rent but am too nervous for someone to crash the car. How do you surpass that as an individual and become a business owner?
There’s many ways to generate wealth but you have to understand that if you’re focusing on not making as much mistakes you will fail. Research something you’re interested in, set a goal and execute. Just don’t think on the “what if I fail” cause you will fail
He doesn't rent his own cars, for starters. Noah (his partner) had the cash up-front to finance the first exotic cars (company cars, not personal cars) for the business, and they opened with just that. Having cash up front changes everything, but he wasn't renting his own cars out.
Stocks are a good way to make money, fairly straight forward to double your money, but you have to play a longer term game there, it's not overnight. If you could find a way to fund your business initially (eg. a business loan) that could start you off like he did. Or you can self-fund by selling one of your classics.
Everyone needs Dave Ramsey
Sorry your wrong! You are hating on doing TURO as a Buisness but you always rent from TURO, you sound salty?
Don’t do TURO it’s not worth it!
I'm no longer waiting for the GRANT LOAN because I earn $ 46,700 every 10 days recently,
