I've noticed when we get heavy rain 🌧 here in Nashville the Shellcracker school up shallow and close to the bank Richard!!! A couple videos back on my RUclips channel I was catching BIG Shellcracker about a foot off the bank in high water conditions
Congratulations on quitting smoking. I really enjoy your videos, you really explain everything good and showing how to tie the different knots is a big help. I’m north of you around the Tims Ford lake area. Keep up the great videos.
Pound for pound one of the toughest fish there is. This is absolutely my favorite type of fishing right here, and man you talk about fun and a good eating fish. When the bull red ear and bluegill are in, I’m not!!
I enjoyed the video Mr. Richard. Please keep on fishing, catching and sharing your techniques. Thank you for the Word from the Apostle Paul. God bless you and your family.
A good warmer is definitely hard to find man. I've only been watching your videos for a short period of time but I agree with you 100%, fishing is a sport second to none and I love watching your videos.
I've noticed throughout the video Richard was all by himself LOL as the video continued I'm seeing more and more folks making their way towards him LOL that is priceless
Those fish are beautiful and big big big. Don't see them in Ohio like that. We may see 6" fish an occasional 7. God blesses you with knowledge, ability and great fishing areas. Great video.
No limit on bluegill and such usually so...catch a bunch and git the pan hot! Mmmmmm! Whooo! Great fishin' trip! Thanks for bringing us along...again!!! Blessings to you and Momma!

My river looks good this week. It is tempting to set-up for bank fishing but I will use my kayak in those areas I came across. It is near a public access area and some people make a dog-gawn mess coming in after I leave. Have a good day, RG!
This is over at Ditto Landing in Huntsville. That first spot you stopped and made a 2 cast is a dead area. Nothing bites over there. Good catch big man.
We call em chinquapin in North Louisiana but wherever you catch em or whatever you call em it's fun defined. I've caught 2 plus pounders on Lake D'Arbonne here in the past.
I am up N. in Indiana and want to know where I can find a squrrell tail Jig. Love your videos as you teach as we watch. You make me want to go fishing.
We grew up catching and eating shell crackers and blue gills! Now that I'm grown I usually filet them. If my dad was alive he'd kick my butt for not cooking them whole!😅
I catch too many bass/channel cats when I'm fishing for bluegil, perch, crappie. Usually with the same fishing rod. So I use 6# mono. I couldn't imagine using 2# test.
Richard is the only one I know that can catch a fish open up the cooler and it turns into 4 . Nice shell daddies Richard!! LIVE FOR THE THUMP MY FRIEND!!

I use a size 10 hook w 10 LB test & catch plenty of panfish to use for Flathead bait. I catch them a lot smaller.
I take those with a tiny red wiggler or a tiny slice of corn. Like a half a kernel I fill up the cooler. Just a drop of garlic.
Hey
I would love for you to try our Mid Life Crappie Jigs with 2x larger Eyelets for easy tying!
Awesome video ! Great eating their!❤
Richard, did you find these fish using sonar, or just happen to know where they’d be based off of conditions? Love the show.

Great vids!!! I'm curious, which place is your favorite place to fish?
I have those jigs in black and olive green. Fish seem to hit them extra hard. I got them from Temu real cheap.
Richard, will this technique work year around?
Richard are you gonna be catching any prespawn bass anytime soon? Spring is coming. Hopefully it gets here soon, because im sick of the cold weather
