One thing I learned from this shortfilm, it’s not the place that’s home, it’s the person who makes you feel home. In his case, his mother was his home.
His father was pushing him out again & again, was itself a great support to face him the real world. Indeed, from emotions & affection point of view that father's support seems to be rude(but it's not).
@@le4689 he was right but wrong. He should have Molded the boy first. You give the child the tools then when it is time. Send him into the world to use them and become greatness. Thus why he kept getting sent back. The boy was not Ready to descend into the world
My Theory is, the son never learned how to do anything by himself. He always relied on the mother to do stuff for him and she would ways give in (Which is why he always made the mom spread the jelly, not even the simplest things he was capable of doing). The dad throws him out to teach him a life lesson so he can learn how to FINALLY make it on his own instead of waiting/relying on people to do things for him. Him not being able to leave the house is basically a sign of him not being able to grow up and finally mature for his age. When the mom dies you see he doesnt even know how to tie a tie on his own. Unlike the mom, the dad is not soft and is genuinley focused on trying to help his child. After the funeral the kid is seen again staring at the jelly and bread but not like last time, he is seen actually using his brain and doing it on his own. The dad notices this and hands him his stuff. But this time very emotional knowing his kid is FINALLY grown up. After he sends him off, he waits. He waits for his "little boy" to come back. Though he isnt regretting letting him go he is having a hard time knowing he will never really have his "little boy" back again.
Everyone sayin" thanks mom" and i am not saying it's wrong , but just wait a second and see it from father's view . All he wanted was to prepare his son for the real world.
So, it was only his mother's love and care that used to pull him back in the house again and again. Once she was no more, he had to stand on his own feet.
I think it's his dependency on his mother that he never really wanted to leave. Once he knows he doesn't have anyone to leach from anymore he's finally gone for good.

This animation hits me on many levels. I am 27 years old and this year is the first time I've to leave far away from my house and my mom because of my job. My mom was always there for me in those past years but now I've to survive on my own. Outside world is so scary when you're pampered and overprotected throughout your life. I miss my mom so much. Sometimes, I even feel like people and the world are trying to kill me over mistakes. I miss my mom so much. I am still trying to accept and adapt with this new reality.
It's not about the value of people it's about children being independent and leaving home which obviously changes the status of that home. Parents want independence for their children mostly fathers push children to independence. It is good for the children but it leaves a gap at home filled with loneliness whether the family is composed of both father and mother or just one of them.
This is very beautiful. Thank you to all the mothers who've become our shelter during tough times, for the fathers who push us to be resilient and stand on our feet when faced with challenges in life. I hope I'll be successful so I could give back to them, for all the sacrifices they went through in giving me a good life. I love you Mom and Dad 🌻
Sorry but you can't repay for all they had done for you............. Our parents do so much for us in life that a single life is too short to payback❤️
I used to watched it without thinking anything about the story taught but now i came back to rewatch it and stories taught me that life with parents aren’t permanent. You need to learn how to live learn to stay strong cause one day all you have left is yourself and no parent that come to help you everytime. The best short video with full of meaning 😅❤
The story's so clear, the father wants him to stand on his own while his mom helps him to stand because he can't because he was used to it (his mom helping him to stand) Now that his mother's gone, he tried to stand on his own and was happy that he can do it now. Then the father's happy for him, but he misses his son
@@amjadqureshi4622 Dude, the boy looks like he's almost 20 years old. And no parent would tie a tie and spread jam on bread for a 20-year-old. They both love their child very much, but the mother is too indulgent, so the father decides to let the son experience life. Do you hate your father?
Finally, I understand what the moral essence of this short film is. When his mother was there, he felt like he had someone to rely on, he found comfort at home. Once his mother has left, he is on his own. Life leaves him no other option than fighting by himself. In real life, it's the same. Once we feel like someone's got out back, we keep on relying on them, sticking to them. Only when we have no one and when life leaves us no choice that we know we can do many things by ourselves. Great story. Many people overlook this point.
Tbh there are 3 moral lesson(s) that are in the animation 1. We must be thankful for what our parents do for us and not take It for granted. 2. We must learn how to stand in our own feet, We should be independent and be ready what life might throw at us. 3. In the end, The most important people in our life is our family (Either by blood or emotionally) people who we can trust, And depend on rough times. Early happy parent's day!!
Something that is funnier is that after parents made us leave they want us back after a time. That happened with my grandparents. I went to another country and now they always call me to say how bored they are how they miss me, even crying. I don't understand some adults. I am right now visiting them and they don't want me to leave. Ironic. This is a real story.
Every one talks about mother....but no one say what father turns us into.... Mother might take care of us...cries when We cry.... But father cries when no one is noticing.... He is the one who teaches us how to live.... I lost my father when I was 13....I love my mum tooo... But I Miss my father...
My father doesn't love and I missed him when I was a kid. it's really sad. I am going to be better father than him. He's from fucked up family too, but that doesn't mean other should suffer because of that

The moment when he looks at where his mom used to cook reminds me of myself when I go to my family's house. I still can see her standing and preparing delicious food for me. RIP mom.
In my opinion, the father wants the boy to be independent, so whenever the boy depends on her mother, the father let him leave. But the boy is not yet ready to be independent, so he keeps on coming back to their home. And when the mother died, the father taught his boy to be independent and when he saw that the boy could stand on his own, he let him leave again. And when the boy didnt come back, that means he is now an independent man.
I feel like the reason why his father wants him to leave the house is because he wants his son to not always depend on his mother but to be a great person on his own
But my mother is problem for me my dad dead and mom alive the story means mother pray and nature know and return in home.but my dad didn’t love me and mom to. But my allah love me...
Time spent with family is priceless.. people get caught up in social norms and kicking kids out the house at fn 18 years old.. is crazy. I know as a single dad my daughter can always stay with me.. and I'll never make her leave. She grauduates HS next year and I have no idea what I'm going to do with myself when she leaves for college...
Trivia : This end of this video shows how fathers after making their children stand on their feet feel isolated and lonely. This metaphorical video is a masterpiece !
No his father only wanted him to become self-employed. So that he can finally move out. His mother always made him his bread. The father just wanted him to do it himself
Because he is a father, and fathers love is never recognized in this world.. the last time the boy left home it was father who tried to play the role of a mother by bidding fare well to the kid
no. he couldn't go because he can't learn anything through his mother because she did everything for him. when she died and there was no one to do through for him - the son learned to be independent.
There are a few ways to interpret the message of this, One is to say that there is no message. Another is that a mother should not do everything for her son , else he'll not fair well in the world. Another is that only when a son is free of his mother will he be content to go out into the world. It seems a bit harsh that she has to die to make this come about.
I find it lazy writing when the writer has to kill off a character instead of finding another solution to the problem of advancing the narrative. He could have gotten lost, met a stray dog, a girl, a city, a small abandoned house, someone working that needed help. Any number of things could have changed his mind.
@@musikSkool Do some research on the oedipal mother and the great mother/ terrible mother archetype , as illustrated by the works of Freud and Jung respectively. Its an archetipal story that is implicit in human nature itself. For the son to move on and live in the world he has to reject the temptations of being infantalised by his mother, this rejection is symbolised by her death and from which he can now be free and live in the world as a man.
Acho a 3° resposta mais correta, pois o garoto estava acomodado com a mamãe fazendo tudo para ele , após ela falecer não teve jeito , ele teve que ir embora.
Hi, Lindy. Nice to see you around and about. But it seems neither you nor none of the replies here take into account the ending here, where the dad is left alone after finally having made his son to leave. I mean - how does that fit into it, if you all think this was about no more than a _son/mother relationship_ - or even far out there - some Oedipus' relationship between a son and his mom? Not so sure the focus of the story is the mom/son relation, but rather the dad, and how he thought he knew what he wanted, but ended up sad and lonely once he got it his way. Sad and lonely, instead of just enjoying having his wife and son around as long as possible; instead of getting angry by merely looking at him and having him around - and to the point where his wife got so upset she had a heart attack out of stress and concern for them both. Or...?
The moral of the story is that mom care for uss❤❤❤ But father is strick because he know that now we have to take responsibilities and they will not live with us always so they are making us strong for our survival in this cruel world 💕💙💚
Really I couldn't sleep whole night after watching this.. a great lesson to all the youngsters who don't want to leave their home and hometown for career.. hats off to the makers and kind request to make such animations more and more to inspire.
I see it more as lesson for parents - you can't kick out your kid and expect him to be independent and responsible adult if you didn't give him opportunity to learn how to do it. No mention lack of any cooperation between parents. Rising kids its not only about feeding them. In the end kid leaves, because he didn't have overprotective mother doing everything for him, but also because dad gave him some time to learn - instead of just kicking him out and expecting results.
I dont undererstand why these short films tells you a long and a deep lesson in funny way sometimes the ending is really really sad and yes they all are literally 15 16 yrs ago when i was lile 2 or 3 but yeah they pop at the correct time ...... Wish i could watch these type more without crying ❤😢
Moral: 1.Father loves you a lot but does not show 2.Home is of no use without mother 3.Importance of someone can be learnt only after his/her departure.
Base from my own viewpoint, the boy at his whole existence only depends on her mother, even on simple thing, such as to spread the jam on his toast he can't manage it with himself and let his mother do the work, the father, on the other hand, have constantly witnessed the dependent of his son, so he tried to enlighten him to stand on his own, but the boy seem to have his hard times trying to find his path and eventually have found himself back at his home, with his mom withstand the dependent of her son. the father have constantly been enlighten his son, yet the son can't seem to acquire knowledge of, knowing he was bound by his mother care and toleration. when the mother dies, the boy realizes there's no one to do the work for him, and let himself be independent from now own, the father had soon find out his soon had finally able to stand with his own two feet, and is now independent. The father once again taught him to leave, when he find out his son seem to still have not return, it does mean his son finally had learnt to stand on his own and fully become an independent man.
But, this has a meaningful ending. The husband was also dependent on his wife. Now, his wife is dead and nobody is there to solace or,support him in his solitude, as his son has now gone away. So, though, at the end, the son is going to have a new future, the father is going to suffer dark times.
Mukherjee Knows the son certainly learned to be independent on his own, with the help of his father, now that he's facing his future i don't think he would just left his father alone, the son would be still there to support his father since it was pretty clear in the video that the father has only taught his son to be independent not to abandoned nor leave his parents.
One thing I learned from this shortfilm, it’s not the place that’s home, it’s the person who makes you feel home. In his case, his mother was his home.

Learn the Value of People Before they Left❤️❤️❤️
It's not about the value of people it's about children being independent and leaving home which obviously changes the status of that home. Parents want independence for their children mostly fathers push children to independence. It is good for the children but it leaves a gap at home filled with loneliness whether the family is composed of both father and mother or just one of them.

I used to watched it without thinking anything about the story taught but now i came back to rewatch it and stories taught me that life with parents aren’t permanent. The story's so clear, the father wants him to stand on his own while his mom helps him to stand because he can't because he was used to it (his mom helping him to stand) Now that his mother's gone, he tried to stand on his own and was happy that he can do it now. Then the father's happy for him, but he misses his son
Thanks for explaining clearly
Father only misses him because the mother is gone too.
@@amjadqureshi4622 What do you mean? Every mom and dad miss their son, daughter.
@@staliniosifvissarionovich5588 yes but this father was brutal. He didn't want to help the child at all.

Tbh there are 3 moral lesson(s) that are in the animation

No his father only wanted him to become self-employed. So that he can finally move out. His mother always made him his bread. The father just wanted him to do it himself
Nobody talking about the lonely Father in the end.
he is not lonely he has gone mad
Because he is a father, and fathers love is never recognized in this world.. the last time the boy left home it was father who tried to play the role of a mother by bidding fare well to the kid

He deserved it. The father was the reason why the boy's mother died and how he was harsh to his son.

There are a few ways to interpret the message of this, One is to say that there is no message. Another is that a mother should not do everything for her son , else he'll not fair well in the world. Another is that only when a son is free of his mother will he be content to go out into the world. It seems a bit harsh that she has to die to make this come about.
indeed brother.greetings from aphrodisias :)
Or...?
The moral of the story is that mom care for uss❤❤❤
But father is strick because he know that now we have to take responsibilities and they will not live with us always so they are making us strong for our survival in this cruel world 💕💙💚
Really I couldn't sleep whole night after watching this.. a great lesson to all the youngsters who don't want to leave their home and hometown for career.. hats off to the makers and kind request to make such animations more and more to inspire.

Pretty close to how the story was meant to be :)
Frame Order thankyouu. anyway, this video has absolutely moved me into tears, it was indeed amazingly have made along with it's deep meaning within.
