My friend and I are writing a prequel musical about the start of Peter and Jason’s relationship because we’re bored theater kids who are emotionally unstable and like to pretend our favorite characters aren’t dead and act two ends happily

"has there ever been anything onstage you instantly regretted?" yes... I was in Once on This Island a few summers ago and in my offcast, I was Daniels's father. The kid playing Daniel thought it would be a great idea for me to slap him when I came on stage. On Saturday night, I did and then laughed through the entire rest of the scene. I was so embarrassed that I couldn't look at my director for the rest of the night.

Off-topic, but a few weeks ago my school started doing bi-weekly theatre workshops, which is basically just after-school drama/improv club, and it’s been so fun! The combination of getting up and acting in front of a group of theatre people, and bi-monthly vocal lessons that I started a few months ago, has really helped me feel more comfortable with performing, and has broken some habits that I had, such as sometimes not giving my full potential when singing or acting, and both give me something to look forward to after school, even if the vocal lessons mean I can only go to 45 minutes of 2 of the theatre workshops.
This video made my Friday 1000x better. You’re the best!!
