In this video we demonstrate how to disassemble (and reassemble) the front wheels of an UPPAbaby Cruz. This process is neccessary if one or more elements of the front wheels have become defective and require replacement, most notably the ball bearings which lead to loose or wobbly front wheels along their horizontal axle. Thanks so much for your help!
Just FYI for people looking for the front wheel bearing sizes - my 2015 model had a special extended inner lip bearing that I couldn’t find anywhere. I replaced it with a 6082Z and added a 2mm thick washer to make up the difference. Hope this helps someone!
Btw there are 2 bearings per wheel
Thanks for sharing! :)
hey! did you put the washer in first, then the bearing or vice versa? additionally, is that model bearing the same as a 608 ZZ? Total novice here.
YES!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH :)
Thanks for the video. Do you know where I could source a replacement for the axel screw shaft nut? Uppababy only fulfills replacements of the front wheel finished product.
Thanks so much for all your videos! Is it possible to do this in an old Cybex priam front wheel? it feels like some dirt got in and the wheels spin very slowly at times. Thanks a lot!
Thank you! Where can I buy an axle please? If not at Uppababy.
I also was looking for this exact video and would also like to know what size Ball Bearings are needed. The comment below doesn't appear to have a response to that question. Thanks!
Thanks so much for making this! It's just what I was looking for. My Cruz wheels are clicking, so I assume the ball bearings need replaced. Do you know what size the ball bearings are that I need to order as a replacement?
Add 57s you say "the axle is 2 parts, very common, 1 part is the head, the other the main shaft" What size are they? I've lost the head, but still got the main shaft. Otherwise I have to buy a whole new pair of wheels! Thanks
Found the answer myself. Purchased a "scooter axle bolt", length 50mm, designed for 8mm bearings. Identical fit, cost me £2 on ebay and saved me spending £60 on some new wheels...
Is it possible to buy just a replacement tire (rubber portion) somewhere? Thanks
That would be hard with this model since Uppababy tires are pretty specific. I would contact Uppababy customer service and see if they can help. :)
@BarnevognverkstedNo thanks. My wife and I did and they pointed us to the wheel (with tire) for $26 each. Cheap enough. Thanks and happy holidays

Hi, do you know where I can find the right flanged ball bearings for front wheels of a 2014 Uppababy Vista stroller? I've looked everywhere ... Thank you!!!
If you can't get them from Uppababy directly, check out this video for help getting the right specifications to find online (I'd measure them myself for you, but I don't have that model in right now) - ruclips.net/video/SqKJgGi5Lmo/видео.html
You can also bring your old bearing to a skateboard shop - they're ussually connected to the right distributors :)
