I am Australian and the questions I got wrong were no.8 - longest river is Missouri River and no.16 - James Madison is the Father of the Constitution. (I made educated guesses for a couple of the questions). But most of my knowledge about the USA I learnt from watching The Simpsons.
I was wondering that myself. This "test" should fall under the category of a test that every Jr. High School student SHOULD be able to pass. Most elementary students should be able to get at least half of them right. I guess they meant that if you possessed good common sense, you would have turned it off after the first 5 to 10 questions.
Everything. Common sense is truly something that is missing in a large part of the population of the USofA. If you truly have common sense then you would know the answers to these questions. The dumbing down of America has been going on for years and if you truly pay attention you would see how apparent it is.
Q 17: Technically speaking, as far as I know, the Statue of Liberty is in New Jersey. Q 34: Lake Superior is partially in Canada. Just saying, and I am not an American.
Yes, I totally agree. Good student of History and Geography can easily get 50/50 and still fail a common sense test that require more of critical thinking and logical analysis. But it was fun to learn few new answers. 😇
How can I get a certificate from you stating that I am genius????? I am a drop out from the school, flipping burgers and joined gang, but I answered all correctly. It took me 5 hours to answer because I was getting new knowledge and the answers on internet. I PAUSED 50 TIMES. HARD WORK.🥰🥰🥰
Howdy from Dallas,Texas! I'd say 36 is good for someone who isn't an American. FYI, The channel got 2 incorrect. And then there were two that they were close on but not exactly correct. You probably know the world Trade Center 1 was destroyed on September 11, 2001. The national bird is the BALD eagle, not just any eagle. We don't have a national sport. Baseball is America's favorite pastime. Our national anthem is just a small part of a poem written by Francis Scott Key, put to the music of an old English drinking song. Rock & Roll, Greenapple!
I lost count, so don't know exactly, but got round about 40 right, which means I'm smart, apparently. Do I get bonus points for not even being an American? (I did visit Kentucky once, in 1968, when I was 16.)
I got three wrong - but what does this have to do with common sense? This was like US trivia. Here's a definition of common sense - refers to the ability to think about things in a practical way and make sensible decisions. It is sound practical judgment that is independent of specialized knowledge or training. I do believe that 98% of US citizens have no common sense.
These are questions that Every American citizen should know. So simple, yet there are a lot of people who have been here their entire lives and don't know it? And if we don't teach it in school??? What happens then? Scary 😮
Questions like; Should I touch this red hot stove? OR Wow, this road is covered in ice should I go faster or slower? Kids only have two things going for them: our built in, innate, survival instincts and what they've observed from their parents. Everything else comes with life experience.
September 2015, President Barack Obama announced the renaming Mt. McKinley to Denali. Trivia fact for you too.. Trump wants to rename it to McKinley when he returns to the WH.
Thanks to the other commentors, and to the video itself stating at t0:07 "a few questions about America" obviously this is not a video about common sense, Don't waste more than eight seconds watching this.
TYour answer to 25 is incorrect. Two rivers form our border with Mexico. The second is the Coloardo, which forms 17 miles of the border as the Colorado heads to the Pacific .
This is NOT a common sense test. EVEN My wife passed with all correct. She is so happy and singing ''I AM A COMMON SENSE QUEEN, BEAUTY WITH BRAIN AND COMMON SENSE. OH GOD, GIVE HIM SOME COMMON SENSE''.🥰🥰🥰 This is a general knowledge test.
First, The national Bird is the BALD eagle. Francis Scott Key wrote a poem tired "In Defence of Fort McHenry"*. Part of it was later used and put to music for "The Star Spangled Banner" The music came from an old English bar song called "To Anacreon in Heaven" World Trade Center One was destroyed on September 11, 2001. ( I watched on the internet as it happened.) The United States of America does not have a national sport. Baseball is America's favorite pastime. *No. I did not misspell defense. FS Key was British and that's how they spell it.
You know what? This has nothing to do with common sense! This is just general knowledge of the United States.
Exactly so. Whoever set this test fell at the first fence...
Washington was the first elected president, not the first president
@@tedthesailor172 Yes. When it asked "are you redy?"
You are correct, it is knowledge, not reasoning.
@@andyZblue I caught that one, too.
This is not a common sense test it is a knowledge test. There is a difference.
History, not common sense.
The common sense part is what I did, I realised by question 3 these were general knowledge so used common sense and stopped!
Awesome!
You passed!
The title of this test should be, “ Common Knowledge”, not Common Sense.
Exactly, this has nothing to do with common sense.
Amen...Pass the cornbread.
When the quiz asks "are you redy" rather than "are you ready" its a bit of a give away that the quiz is faulty.
I am British and got all but 1 correct, but these aren't common Sense questions they are General Knowledge questions.
STOP SHOWING OFF.
I am Australian and the questions I got wrong were no.8 - longest river is Missouri River and no.16 - James Madison is the Father of the Constitution. (I made educated guesses for a couple of the questions). But most of my knowledge about the USA I learnt from watching The Simpsons.
I bet it was the highest mountain, that's the one I missed!!!!!
Are you redy??? Lost my confidence before even starting.
Absolutely!!! If you can't spell you have no business even offering up this test for common sense!!!! Geeeezzzz
I saw that too. 😂 really lame
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thats when I stopped the video and went to the comments. After reading some of the comment, I didn't go back to the video.
What do these questions have to do with common sense???
...exactly! ❤

You are correct.
New York, NY 10004
Statue of Liberty, Address
@@kevinbradley804 - Nope, the Statue of Liberty is NOT in New Jersey. But, yes, Lake Superior is partially in Canada.
Correct on both.
Correct
I got a 43. The first one I missed was tallest mountain, Mount Denali, because I grew up knowing it as Mount McKinley.
It was Mount McKinley, it still is, but it was renamed Mount Denali.
I got it wrong/right too.
I got 44 correct answers. I am a South Korean. Thanks !
Same with me, 44 correct
38/50. Not an American. Not too shabby...
After the first 2 questions, I left . 3rd grade questions!😮 BOOO !
😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣0:26 seconds "Are you redy".....You call your channel 'Knowledge Bank'
Common sense tells me to pass on this one.
These are not common sense questions, they are common knowledge questions. BIG difference.

I got 46 of 50...more of a test about America.
How can I get a certificate from you stating that I am genius?????

These aren’t common sense questions. They are common knowledge questions.
There is Hollywood, Florida -- not as famous as California, but still exists. I suggest a state other than Florida in the list.
That was great to play . I’m glad I know most of the answers 👍👍♥️
It is common sense to know that this is a common knowledge test. 😅 😂
Liberty island is actually in New Jersey. How's that for common sense or should I say knowledge.

I am Australian. I got 44/50
I lost count of my score but I answered many correctly.Im an Indian brought up in India!❤[ think Americans are usually very nice.

Common sense? Only an American would be so vain as to believe that USA history and geography has anything to do with common sense.
They didnt even spell ready right. Its not redy. Its ready.
I missed six out of 50. So I guess I got a B.
Three wrong. Longest river, largest park and CA state flower.
Are you redy ??? Should be ready for a start !
Yes I’m ready
Starts off with "are you redy?"
Good grief.

keeping your finger out of the door jam so it doesn't get smashed is common sense not these questions.
