Bed pan? - Warming pan! The bird feeder was actually a nest box, and the item you describe as a scraper is for chopping herbs. Not a bad effort, though, and I look forward to trying my hand at your next one. 😊
The two metal round things with long handles were not a bed pans, but they were bed warmers. Hot coals were put inside and the warmer was moved around the bed between the sheets.A bed pan is for peeing in bed when a person cannot get up and go to a toilet.
I got 86. The round instrument that she said was a thermometer was actually a barometer. It had pressure readings on the face. They were backwards in the picture though.
I missed or didn't know 8 but the "bed pan" was actually a bed warmer.. The game you called a dulo we called Aggravation but my aunt called "Kick in the pants".
Not only it's a Bird House but, it's something found even today in Gardens and, this one looked tattered because, it has aged and the roof is made of Chip Board. Chip Board is easily damaged with water.
I thought she said bed warmer I agree it's one I have one and it's nice in the cold weather putting it on the sheet and warming then up before you get in the bed
I got all but 2 of the pictured item and missed all the questions. But if the round thermometer is actually a barometer, then I only missed one of the pictured items. Don’t know what score that gives me but there it is. That was fun! I was surprised at how much I remembered!
This was fun. Canadian here. You have a few items in your quiz which are the same as things that I remember growing up with except we have different names for them. I had Klik Klaks but they were called Clackers here. Lots of fun but could be painful. lol. I see the bird house, bed warming pans and other items have already been mentioned so I won't echo them. All in all it was fun. Some things I have never seen before and some things surprised me when I discovered what they were. 12 of the questions I answered incorrectly. The coffer pot did not look like a coffee pot to me. The shoe horn is a tricky question.... it can also be used as a back scratcher. I forgot all about chalk holders.
Wikipedia states: John Logie Baird FRSE was a Scottish inventor, electrical engineer, and innovator who demonstrated the world's first live working television system on 26 January 1926. He went on to invent the first publicly demonstrated colour television system and the first viable purely electronic colour television picture tube.
The majority of them I got right! I had flashbacks as you went through them when I was about 4 years in the family kitchen or at my Nana's. This was fun 😊 and I am 71. Thanks😂❤
I missed 15 items, this was really fun looking back at. A lot of things I remember seeing at my Grandmas or Aunts house, didn’t know who invented the tv, I do remember, boys taking about banana seats on their bikes. Really interesting, gotta show my grand kids. THANKS FOR TAKING US BACK IN HISTORY, VERY INTERESTING, LOVE IT. HAPPY HOLIDAYS, HAPPY NEW YEARS 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🙏😃😃
Not all of them are old, we buy and use some of them nowadays. For example: hole punch, make-up mirror, garlic crusher, trowel, shoe horn, thermometre. I mean those designs shown in the pictures. Some others are used even now but have another design, are upgraded
I git four wrong and so did you, dear lady! Does that make us even? Enjoyed this trip down memory lane and eagerly anticipate another ramble with you all!
85/90 not bad but we definitely didn't agree on a couple of them. But im 66 so I've seen many of these items used and have used them myself. "Aggravation" was what we called that one game.
such fun, I only got one wrong, and wouldn't you believe it? It was the first question. I'm 72 just before Christmas, but not old enough to know the coffee maker.
6:15 #19 I've never seen THAT type of can opened with that. I used that to open sardine cans only iirc. 8:24 # 26 We called this a Credit Card Imprinter. You place the card in then place a "blank" on top of that. It made 3 copies at the same time. One tissue paper for the customer, one tissue paper for the business & one index card style copy to send in to the CC company in daily batches. After you properly "loaded" the card & the blank you pull the black bar across & back. This imprints the card onto the blank through the use of Carbon Paper between the copies to be made. That is/was the purpose for the EMBOSSED/RAISED SURFACE portions of the card, being the card number & your name. The customer would sign BEFORE the copies are separated so signature will appear on ALL copies. We kept this devise around in case of power outage as we actually used an ELECTIC powered imprinter. It was a vertical rather than horizontal devise. A Credit Card Reader is "next level technology" made possible with the addition of the Magnetic strip (and also later Chip) with which you "swipe" or "insert" the card into the reader. Then "tap" also came along.
I got eight wrong. Not great, but not too shabby, either. If I give myself the ones that Quiz Time herself got wrong, add three to my score, so 85 out of 90.
I definately think that they're several mistakes in answers. Bird feeder is actually a Bird Box or. Nesting Box. The Scraper is not a Scraper. Then again, I think they're few more mistakes.
I missed 7 out of 90. Several of the questions had answers that were so close that it could have been one of two answers, depending on what part of the world you were from. Upon reading through some of the comments found that I only missed 4 questions.
Bed pan? - Warming pan! The bird feeder was actually a nest box, and the item you describe as a scraper is for chopping herbs. Not a bad effort, though, and I look forward to trying my hand at your next one. 😊
Bed warmer in my part of the country. I knew what all of them were. Now I feel really old.
The two metal round things with long handles were not a bed pans, but they were bed warmers. Hot coals were put inside and the warmer was moved around the bed between the sheets.A bed pan is for peeing in bed when a person cannot get up and go to a toilet.
correct.
The circular object you called a Thermometer is a Barometer -- although a bit difficult to tell from the poor quality image.
I thought so too.
You are correct sir......
Definitely a barometer in mirror image. Wow!!! Two major mistakes in only one question 😮😮😮😮😮
I agree with you on the Barometer
Exactly what I thought.
Yep, it must be a Barometer.
I got 86. The round instrument that she said was a thermometer was actually a barometer. It had pressure readings on the face. They were backwards in the picture though.
Yes it is a barometer. I have got one on the wall.
correct.
This was fun. I still have, and use, many of these. #7 is a bird house, not a feeder.
😃👍🏻
correct.
I missed or didn't know 8 but the "bed pan" was actually a bed warmer.. The game you called a dulo we called Aggravation but my aunt called "Kick in the pants".
correct, Aggravation.
#72 isn't a vanity mirror. It's actually called a Hollywood Mirror. Because the old-fashioned vanity mirrors never had lights on them
Yes they did
What she called a bird feeder was actually a bird house.
@@TheSalabama no there is bird food in it so it's a bird feeder! Look at the chalk holder comment.
And what they called tape track is really a 8 track tape they had it reversed there was a couple more but I forgot them lol
Yup it was
That’s right
Not only it's a Bird House but, it's something found even today in Gardens and, this one looked tattered because, it has aged and the roof is made of Chip Board.
Chip Board is easily damaged with water.
28 is a bed warmer, not a bed pan !! 🇺🇲🇺🇲🪖🪖👮👮🚓🚓
I thought she said bed warmer I agree it's one I have one and it's nice in the cold weather putting it on the sheet and warming then up before you get in the bed
@@tracyjennings3003 She said bed pan.
I've owned most of them. I'm 90 years old.
No 23are Hair curlers, heated then twisted to create curls or ringlets not a clipper
My grandma never had a jukebox in her house. Those were found in diners, at each booth and along the counter.
nice, correct.
81 is a barometer. I have 1 just like it on my wall.
Me too.
I got all but 2 of the pictured item and missed all the questions. But if the round thermometer is actually a barometer, then I only missed one of the pictured items. Don’t know what score that gives me but there it is. That was fun! I was surprised at how much I remembered!
Number 72 is called a Hollywood mirror.
They were called eight tracks, not tape tracks.
correct, very good.
She is British and their names are different for a lot of things. Some of the multiple choice words I don't have a clue what they are.
83 years old here and breezing through them all so far. Easy peasy.
I noticed some were incorrect and I'm only 82!😁
I thought that the coffee maker was a fumigator.
Me too and not sure we aren't correct.
The item she called a thermometer i(brass and shaped like ship's wheel) is a barometer. It measures the air pressure.
Yes, that's what I thought!
That was great fun! We have different names in the UK than in the US but I figured it out. I got 5 wrong.
#52 the answer is a double handed chopper, which isn’t even one of the options.❤
82 brilliant quiz I look forward to a another thank you
#81 is indeed a barometer, not a thermometer...and the pohoto is reversed!
Most items were easy to identify but those things you called coffee pots were like none I have ever seen

#7 is a bird house, not a bird feeder. Your computer is actually and RF test station, couple of others where off, still a fun good quiz
John Logie Baird invented the television in 1926.
82's answer is none of the above. It is a 8 track tape.
Interesting, but you had a few of these items mislabeled 😐
I second on the barometer vs thermometer thing. Different wordings on a lot of things.
A couple of items were multi-purpose.😆
Y
These are from many different decades not just your grandparents
I missed 15 items, this was really fun looking back at. Its a Barometer, you can tell by the weather information around the dial
The really sad part is most young people get this stuff wrong.
nearly all of them
84 - some are used, played with, or worn today...
Hi. Quite interesting. I guess you are in USA. Im UK and some names are different. Fun. ps i had the sound off.
And I thought she is UK due to some of the names.
Thank God, there are things older than me.😊
😜 hahah
I got 3 wrong. She got a few wrong! 😀. Thanks that was fun. I am 68.
Great score 👍🏻👍🏻😁
Got most of them right but we are old folks
number 7 is not a bird feeder, it"s a bird net box
nest
A bird nest box
The bird feeder is actually a birdhouse.
The scraper is known as a mezzoluna which is a vegetable chopper. 🙂
85/90 not bad but we definitely didn't agree on a couple of them. But im 66 so I've seen many of these items used and have used them myself.
"Aggravation" was what we called that one game.
Great channel! - i love the format and everything. much better than mine! heh
its actually a bird box for nesting birds and not a bird feeder
#45 is indeed a Meat Grinder, however; it is pictured Up Side Down.
That;s the only way to display unless unless you mount on a table.
A lot of fun. I think I scored 84.❤
95 out of 100👌🏾❤️ 😂 im 80 and have had most of these items 😉👌🤗🥰
Ah, there are only 90 in total.
such fun, I only got one wrong, and wouldn't you believe it? It was the first question. I'm 72 just before Christmas, but not old enough to know the coffee maker.
I'm 70 & I missed both of THOSE coffee makers.
6:15 #19 I've never seen THAT type of can opened with that. I used that to open sardine cans only iirc.

The British have different names for some things.
YOU HAVE YOUR ROUND GAUGE LISTED AS A THERMOMETER. BECAUSE IT HAS A SET TING HAND ON THE GLASS IT WILL BE A BAROMETER PRESURE gauge Very good quiz
It's not a chalk holder it's for making lines on a chalkboard!
It was a chalk holder for making lines on a chalk board.
@marciam6224 Marcia Marcia Marcia! I stand corrected!
It was used for creating musical staffs on the chalkboard at my grade school...50s
& 60s. 👍🎼
two I had never seen before: three I still have in my home; I'm 84 and a word game fan.
Much to my surprise, i missed a few!
Great!
Your grandmother has some very interesting things in her house that my grandmother sure didn't! 😅
Missed 3 . I don't drink coffee so i missed those two, and i don't wear women's shoes so i missed the candies high heels.
Fumigator
No 28is. BED WARMER a bed pan is something you pee into
52 is a herb chopper not a scraper
It was fun
Thank you 🙏🏻
I got eight wrong. Not great, but not too shabby, either. If I give myself the ones that Quiz Time herself got wrong, add three to my score, so 85 out of 90.
I missed a few of them !
Great!
I did great with appliances, I missed every shoe. #82 are called "8-track tapes" I missed the chalk holders, and I didn't do well with board games.
The "chalk holder" was used in MUSIC class to draw the 5 lines for music. 🎼🎵🎶🎶🎵🎵
Also early handwriting on the blackboard to learn how to form the letters we had that in our one room school.
I got 75 correct.
I scored 82.
Got 80 out of 90
Number 72 is a hollywood mirror and 82 is a baromrter
I missed 4 !😊
Oh dear the bird feeder is a bird nesting box

Still have some of grandmas items
Cash register
I got 80
Well done 👍🏻
Every time you said, "Do you remember this?" I said, "Yes, I do."
You are wrong on number 7...it is not a bird feeder, but a bird house...big difference!
Hahaha. I dont think grandma had a credit card
It's a tin or can and bottle opener
Not sure what my score was. I am guessing around 84?❤
27:01 is a thermometer 🌡️
Got 85 out of 90
28 is a bed warmer, not a bed pan.
57 best described as a float
It's called a drywall trowel in the hardware business.
81 right
Very good 😊
all but 6 right.
I definately think that they're several mistakes in answers.
Bird feeder is actually a Bird Box or. Nesting Box.
The Scraper is not a Scraper.
Then again, I think they're few more mistakes.
#81 is a Barometer ❤
got about 80 right
Nice 👍🏻
X should be a ged warmer not a bed oan.
Spin top
I missed 7 out of 90. Several of the questions had answers that were so close that it could have been one of two answers, depending on what part of the world you were from. Upon reading through some of the comments found that I only missed 4 questions.
