MY SET UP: Dell Optiplex 7010 sff, Dell monitor, same model as yours. I have a 250g hdd, but just ordered a 250g Adata SDD. LOL. Looking forward to the faster speeds.
The SSD made a huge difference in my Optiplex 9020. I’ve got 2 SSD’s, one for the OS and the second for programs. I maxed out the ram to 16 GB and added a video card with digital out. My media is on a QNAP NAS, the combo of these will make a great PLEX server run from the Optiplex and a nice dvd rip machine as well. Nice video, love my Dell’s!
@@rabisah2321 for 4k videos if its 20 minutes or longer you need more space on your hard drives, so more terabytes like 5tb, also you will need a nice gpu too of you want quick render time
Yes, I used a 2.5" to 3.5" adapter to mount the SSD inside the PC. Dell made a 2.5" adapter that came with some of these. Also, an SSD is usually very light and has no vibration so I've used double sided tape to mount them if I don't have an adapter.

@@manomant181 they do, all textures are in the storage and being sent to the RAM in order to be able to then be grabbed by the GPU. If the storage is not fast enough, you'll be encountered with stuttering.

I ended up using the card that came with the computer. Nothing special; AMD Radeon HD 7470. It fits into a PCI slot.

@@LEGOManas i did bios upgrade n mine has no issues now with that sort of thing, very scarey lol
I have a 9010 sff with mechanical drive it does not take over a minute to boot.

SSD's are awesome for gaming too. 😁 Great vid 👍
They don't help at all. Only with loading times

My Windows 7 Pro
It starts in winchester in 10-15 seconds
The shutdown portion of time is not relevant as people usually do not wait till end of shutdown. The startup time is more relevant
