@@kaj7025 How are you liking it? I’m not crazy about the tone at higher RPMs for either the S-Type or ATAK. But, I think that’s just how it’s gotta be for the 3.6. Solo Performance also seems to have some solid options.
Harry, no drone whatsoever. Between 2,700 and 5,500 RPM it was a pretty ricey. After a hundred miles or 2, the sound deepened and now it sounds pretty good at those RPMs. I've gotten numerous compliments on it since I've put the exhaust on and a few other cars messing with me on the freeway, trying to get me to punch it. Overall, crushing between 1,500 - 2,500 RPM sounds deep. 2,700 - 5,000 has good sound (not AS deep and throaty as V8 would sound but still bad ass) 5,000+ is a screamer (in a good way) you'll turn heads.

I just got a v6 GT AWD challenger and am looking at the borla s type. Do you have two of them replacing the mid mufflers. And did you keep the rear resonators? You car sounds beautiful. Don't listen to the haters.

Yes sir. I've been told by multiple gear heads, always do a full exhaust system mod. You'll wish you settled for a shitty hand job instead of your "new and improved" exhaust system if you try and do a piecemeal mod.
Just make sure it will fit with the AWD configuration (don't know if it's different exhaust-wise but guessing it very possibly is). And enjoy driving in the snow this winter!
All these exhaust companies say they give you an increase but idk how true that is in general. Just assume no noticeable horsepower increase. Some may decrease horsepower actually according to all the research I've done. Sorry if that doesn't help.

GRiM Z3rO welcome to mopar family, I would suggest you to save up some money and get yourself borla s-type catback exhaust, yes it is expensive, but it worth it. Air intake is not necessary. I am telling that because I have both intake and exhaust, intake it’s just waste of money. Go to carid.com place your order

I just installed mine first start and sound nothing but stock like nothing at all unless i step on it i can hear very little but like i said sound is pretty much stock why ?
Nothing has improved sounds the same like for the sound that im getting I would of just preferred to straight pipe it for like 150$ it will sound much louder then borla like it sounds nothing at all to be honest im disappointed and I currently have put like 1,200 miles since installation and a k&n typhoon air intake but like i said not much difference what about yours ?
Not sure what that is my man. If you go to Borla's site and filter for exhaust systems for 2016 Dodge Challenger SXT (V6 or 6 cyclinder), s-type, that's what we have here sir.
Unless it’s a 4cyl I think S Type sounds better than ATAK. S Type is still plenty loud and has a nicer tone to it, unlike the ATAK which imo is just loudness. I’d definitely choose SXT over Ecoboost but a GT (Mustang) over the Challenger
The sound will deepen as you drive it more. The sound inside the car is a little raspy at first but it’s not necessarily the sound someone hears when they’re behind you. That interior raspy sound goes away as well and I he sound outside gets better too. I was worried at first but now I wouldn’t change a thing.
What the best alternative to this, I cant afford a 1500 exhaust system!!! My challenger has no mufflers, sounds pretty good at idle or low speeds but hitting it hard sounds more ricer to me and definitely need to change that
I actually drove one of these as a rental. Now I will admit even stock it sounds o.k. and is fun to drive! But it sounds no where near as good as a hemi, as for it sounding good as a V6 ehh I think the Japanese V6 engines sound way better of course just my opinion. Nice Challenger BTW have fun!
If anyone lives near Va Norfolk and wants this same exhaust set I’ll sell it for 400 I got me a scatpack so I don’t need my exhaust I use to have on my challenger.

When your order arrives you need to take it to shop, installing isn’t not expensive around $100 and installation takes around 30 minutes
