@u.s.inteconadvisorygrouplt2668 Good for you! Not sure how your reply slipped by me, but thanks for the comment and hope you keep playing for the rest of your days! :)
The guitarist was hyper-focused. 😅 All you need is go-go dancers in cages like on the old TV shows. 🤣 Good job. Sending it to friends that I graduated with: " This is our generation!"
I love it!! You, my dear ladies, Rock!! I started learning to play bass at 50. Then I layed it down to help take care of my mom. She passed 6 yrs ago and it's time I picked up that bass again! Y'all have inspired me!!
I'm an ageing 78 year old male Guitarist, and I'm still playing and regularly giging in a 60s covers band, called "The Radiators" and I absolutely loved these young at heart, lovely girls, keep on rockin' ladies, you sound great.
I have just been thoroughly entertained buy a fantastic group of ladies who have so much talent and love for music which shows with every rendition of the these wonderful 60"s classics they covered . great job ladies . cheers from Australia
You ladies are absolutely refreshing. I’m 69 and I remember the good old rock and roll days. Loved your performance. WOW! Wonder if you girls were at Woodstock? If you weren’t, you shoulda been. Your great! Love, Love, Love. I think we grew up in the greatest time ever, wouldn’t you agree?
The Norman Greenbaun classic from the 70’s and still a great bit of music and a different sound to everybody else at the time. Well done ladies for giving this a bit of life again
What a fantastic surprise! I haven't heard that song in years and its a shame its one of my favorites from the day. I'm 74 and lived through the era. You ladies give me a huge smile on my face. What talent and I'm not surprised because your woman but you did so well with that song. 😎👍
Live on Vancouver Island...this cover was one of my favorites from yesteryear...great job ladies!!! I'm only 78 and still singing along with the oldies but goodies...ladies you done yourselves proud!!!
@@khartsings A few years ago I was an official photographer at the Moseley Folk Festival (Birmingham, UK), with Donovan as a top act. Mr Leitch had been somebody whose music I had loved since I was a kid, but to see him and his band thoroughly enjoying themselves on stage exceeded my expectations, and made me realise how important music was to them. It provoked me to take music lessons in my '70s! Music is a pleasure not to give, but to share.

Great arrangement, fine touch on guitar appropriate to each part of the song, good balance between distorted and clean guitars, like on the original, and just an overall good feel and interpretation. That quiet emergence into the third verse after the solo just grabbed me.
I’ve never heard of this group but they are awesome! I’m 77 and the only music I listen to are songs from the 50’s and 60’s and also contemporary Christian music. I have the radio in my truck set on the three channels I can get them on. My wife said I’m stuck in a time warp and need to get out of it. I just love the old songs and groups I grew listening to, they bring back such wonderful memories. Thanks Ladies for sticking with it.

I was hopping around to this son g when Norman was singing this back in my day. I loved this cover and I believe you ladies all have interesting stories. So well done, thanks!
I will gladly stand corrected if someone shows me that I am wrong. I heard that Norman Greenbaum wrote this song as a tongue in cheek, Jewish reaction to watching Sunday morning evangelical T.V. The mainstream Christian community took it as sincere and made the song a giant hit.
You may be right, I just found this: In a 2006 interview with The New York Times, Greenbaum told a reporter he was inspired to write the song after watching Porter Wagoner singing a gospel song on TV. Greenbaum said: "I thought, 'Yeah, I could do that,' knowing nothing about gospel music, so I sat down and wrote my own gospel song. It came easy.
Bravissimo . . . An excellent rendition of Norman's original . . . It made my ferrets dance , it's usually Stevie Ray that gets that response ! Hope you do well in your musical career . . . Cheers
