Id assume its a heavy enough trigger that you wont hit it accidentally, but id be careful with side opening automatics regardless. At least OTFs have a failsafe of sorts
@@OfficialDegenerate the failsafe for OTS autos (without safeties) is your pocket seem... Side fire autos go off in your pockets not too big of a deal so long as the spine of the blade is resting on that seem, id much rather have an OTS auto go off in my pocket over an OTF

Those are cool, But, when you have a huge collection of knives, as I do, you can forget where the hidden button is. So when I put one of those away for a long spell, I put a taped dot on the button, you will also save bandaids too.
Why would you need one? Realistically I can thumb open my blade as fast as almost any self opener. I don't have a problem with people having knives because I have multiple dozens of knives from swords to micros. Most of them stay pit away because I have a few really functional knives that I carry other than that, the rest are for special circumstances or for show.
In CA if you used that for self defense in order to save your own life and the police found out and they will that it’s a switch blade. The radical D.A. Will charge you much worse then the suspect.
Omg I bought the same knife from a tool truck and I was watching videos and literally stumbled upon this clip now I know it's an auto knife 🔥🔥 thanks for the tip
@@techfrank2431exactly. That's right there with putting your cellphone in your back pocket. Just asking for problems if you are prone to forget. I personally have never cracked a screen from inadvertently making that mistake but I know girls that have due to them wearing skintight jeans😁 That seems to be the "phobia" trending in the comments but I seriously doubt that the conditions required for that to open in your pocket would align perfectly resulting in a "pocket firing" and of course there's pounds worth of prevention here that is up to the owner to avoid.
They made one of these a while back for buck. I think it's called a buck double strike or something like that. It was an awesome blade. I had one for the longest time
Pro-Tech makes a beautiful secret auto called the Magic BR-1 "Whiskers," I have it in CF but it's kind of a dud. If there's any inward pressure on the bolsters when actuating it results in a lack luster deployment.
It’s cool, I have one. But I almost never carry it anymore because the grips hiding the button are rubber so it’s a pain to get in and out of your pocket with the pocket clip, also since your pulling pretty hard to get it out the thumb stud catches frequently on the way out opening the blade a little
I love you because you loves knifes here in Egypt we have a national knife it's the kobesh knife and the okapi made in South Africa and Germany it's the best here for any beginner gangster😂
I've had several of those. Hidden release. I'm like you I'm a automatic nut. I can't resist watching your shorts. LOL. But personally, I mostly do knives with safeties. I've had a couple go off in my pocket, that didn't have safeties. So after that happened to me twice, well I got the point......
I had a knife with a similar switch. Looked just like a normal folder with a thumb stud. Didn't have anything on the box. The retailer never said anything, and I damn near had a mishap when i deserved the switch by accident in the car. 😂
I honestly can't tell the difference in speed shen deploying a knife like this and anormla knife with studs or thumb hole. Who actually cares about that 0.5 seconds saved.
Great dual action very affordable.I would make one suggestion to Cobratech. They should have a little logo over the release to fire it easier .I have big hands and have to feel for the release.

Pretty cool thanks for posting
Is there any risk of the blade popping out in pocket? What if you have other things with it like change or keys?

Yes happens to me all the time with spring knives. Lots have locks, but I feel like with all those steps, I might as well have a nonassisted folder

Cool knife. Have to try it out. Keep your videos coming.

Saw this an hour ago, went straight to cobratec and bought one. Thanks!🎉
I like that you show knives in a reasonable price range. Keep the vids coming.
A most reasonable display at reasonable prices…❤
You have knives that I straight up never knew existed that's so fucking cool
I found my type. Blonde girls with ponytail braids, in form fitting sweaters with an affinity for sharp things.
Which is actually pretty close to a perfect woman, at least for some of us.
That’s not a ponytail those are braids
@@Watermln Hmm. I was not aware there was a difference. Hair is not really my thing.

I look so forward to your delightful knife reviews, thank you
That would DEFINITELY cut my thing off
LOL
Used to have one of these but it was really cheap. It was my first auto and I wore it out to the point it wouldn’t stay shut anymore lol.
Every female knife nut I've ever met was crazy.
She is crazy , crazy hot .
Her smile shows she's passionate about her work and she's gorgeous ❤

Thank you from de Canary Islands, Spain.
Another one that comes to mind is the Protech Magic/Whiskers.

I wonder how many times that punching bag has been stabbed by crazy knife girl. . .
Very nice. Thanks for sharing….. now I need one.
I have it and love it!Got several CobraTec knives.Their flippers are so smooth. Thanks for sharing.Great company too 🔪👍
That definitely goes in the "I don't have this knife to anybody" category but really cool for a collection or personal EDC.
Thats sick! Now i want one of those just for fun, I ordered my first auto online today, I am trying out a mircotech magnacut ultratech.
Should have a safe pressure required to open, like trigger pull. Love this knife, simple and durable.
There's a skinless body behind the dominoes I work at

I got recommended your shorts last night but I've seen way more knives I never even knew existed than I'd like to admit
I love your videos. Swords, knives, stick are all part of FMA
Damn feel like I might wanna buy you a checker fries and wonder why I'm on a watch list

I got a tuxedo version which doesn’t seem to have that problem maybe they fixed it in later versions
You find the coolest knives I'm so jealous of your life. Your awesome thank you again. My knife collection is growing fast this year lol
Ur gonna love it in Bulgaria. When I was 15 I bought a giant machete for 10$ from a random street vendor I still have it and it's still pretty useful
The sound is amazing.
My favorite hidden button is my microtech light foot dual action great knife that’s timeless.
I've had ones like that and ones that the scale would slide to the side then the blade would release. Mostly just flea market knives.
I have 2 of these and i love them!

Yeah I tried to order 5 different autos from this company in black or gray and they are always sold out. Very disappointing.
Reasonably priced too.
I really like that. Excellent idea.

Only bummer on that is the 440 steel. I got one anyways, but needs sharpening if putting to use
Pretty cool indeed. Def adding this to the collection
