For those of you who don't know what's happening, this street vendor was kick out of a high foot traffic area, where she is making profit, and was forced to more to a less populated area by authorities. So now she's selling her products in a less populated area, thus, less sales. She is already struggling because, she has a kid to support and this is her main source of income. Also all her products are out-of-pocket, so less sales, but still has to buy supplies ie: cooking oil, dough, gas, etc, thus, chipping away of her earnings.
Many street food vendors would tell you making money is very little. They have pay for supplies too. They rely on high traffic and convenient area. If they go somewhere else with high rent cost, it's very difficult to stay in business while competition always exists. Puy and may vendors often work all day long and 7 days a week if necessary. Local authority and officials gotta come up with better ways to help these hardworking citizens. They are not doing anything illegal. They are not sitting at home waiting money from the sky. Please take care of the weak, the poor, and the children 🙏
Yes those small food hawker must reply on human’s traffic to survive. Thou govt is not wrong to evict them, and make sure they are of proper hygiene and preparation, proper arrangement must be ensure to them to survive. Not juz kick them off. Hope govt can give them leeway. 🙏🙏

Street vendors like this must pass regular food health and safety checks most street food in Thailand is rated the safest in the world. Especially in Bangkok the food safety standards are extremely high. These people are being moved away from this place and offered another location where the rent is much more expensive as part of an extortion scam by the local government. Once this area is cleared they will re-offer these places at an increased rental at later date. Local government officials have been running this scam on the street vendors for some years now and they are being particularly harsh right now because they are trying to get a larger slice of the money made by street vendors as they recover from the pandemic period when nobody was making any money.

WAKE UP AUTHORITIES, here are honest working people like Puy making a living from their own craft, the long line of people waiting for their Roti is a testament to that. SUPPORT THEM. You couldn't ask for more than that. People like Puy are doing their country proud. I'm coming to Bangkok from New Zealand to buy heaps of Roti from Puy. ALL GOODNESS TO YOU PUY.
All of the vendors in this section are being forced out and being offered another place with much higher rent. But it's a scam by the local government once they are cleared out the places will be upgraded slightly and re-rented with higher rents. They have to clear all the vendors first to clear the leases before they can raise the rent, the "upgrades" are just superficial and only done to justify the evictions. As you can see Puy and here colleagues are not operating illegally in other people's store fronts like those that have correctly been evicted in other parts of the city, they are operating in properly rented and leased sites.
Help her re-locate to another place. Not easy though.but try for her. rather than at her expense you keep making videos and pot om RUclips. your monetization you can help her with your payment from RUclips. initially she needs some funds to re-locate her stall ?
