2024 Chevrolet Trax Review / Drastically different than before

- The Chevrolet Trax used to be a tall and narrow subcompact crossover SUV. It was an inexpensive way to get around a bustling city. For 2024, the Chevrolet Trax is completely different. It’s wider and longer with a sleek new design that is trying to stand out in an overcrowded crossover market.
The 2024 Chevrolet Trax does away with the old 4-cylinder engine and replaces it with a smaller 1.2L turbocharged 3-cylinder engine. It produces 137 hp and 162 lb-ft of torque (98 kW & 220 Nm).
The 2024 Chevrolet Trax LS starts at just $21,699 CAD ($20,400 USD) before fees & taxes. This top range Activ trim costs $29,314 CAD ($25,980 USD) as equipped with extras and features.

I have this vehicle and its excellent!!!
Nice! How has your ownership been so far? Any issues? Or smooth driving?
@@MGReviewsBlog Driving it for almost 5 months and still impressed about it. Running 3k miles, a roundtrip from West Palm Beach to Jacksonville 600 miles with no issues. I love my car.
What a change. Looks so much bigger than the previous gen.
It's a foot longer, 2" wider and about 3.5" lower (overall height) compared to the old one. It's basically a brand new car with the same name 😅
Thank you I will test drive it! Price is right
I have a 2RS and i love it.
Watching a few videos I’ve seen countless complaints regarding the plastic along the doors… am I the only one who doesn’t rest their arm on the door?? Lol
I guess so?!? Haha
I don’t care about and….. not an issue for me. Great I formative video thank you
You can change the display as it has 3 options . Great review and my 2 RS should be here in the next few weeks.
Ohh?? How? Where is the setting to change it?
@@MGReviewsBlog You push down on the scroll wheel on the steering wheel and then you can scroll thru the options.. They are nothing really exciting but you do have 3 to choose from. The right side scroll wheel
@Pestslayer ohhhh, I prodded and pushed every button I could find but I didn't think to push on the scroll wheel.
you never showed what's in the power barn
Looks like a Rogue mini lite. Interesting how the much larger Rogue gets a tiny bit better fuel economy. It doesn't suck though. Plus price is good. I think it's a great alternative to a sedan! Higher seated and more cross over like. If you're on a budget, this looks pretty decent!
I wish there was an electric version of this.... Can you imagine full EV with this format? It would be better than a Kona or Niro. I don't want to get sucked into an Equinox or Blazer. Why Chevy why???
Anyway, great review! Don't change a thing to your format. The little details and attention to detail makes you a good reviewer, imo.
There will be an electric version... the Bolt haha. Supposedly a new one should be coming soon.
Daewoo is back! It feels like an opportunity missed, the next generation of this vehicle might actually be really good.
What do you mean by opportunity missed?
Is it at least at least as peppy as the Corolla?
It feels more so because of the turbo engine.
Translate letter’s please…..,
If you're going to do a review in English you should use gallons inches mile per gallon not liters not metric stuff nobody knows a thing about that in the United States just trying to help I cut your video off just for that reason don't understand miles per liter like most Americans once again have a great day Good luck
I'm in Canada, therefore we use the metric system. I put the imperial conversions right on the screen as I say them. I'm not going to go out of my way just to change my way of thinking that I've become accustomed to for my entire life.
