Have been driving my Mosaic Black Metallic one for almost 3 weeks now. Love it. Great gas mileage has plenty of gadgets, especially coming from a 2014 Ford Fiesta to this. Gas mileage is almost the same.

I kept watching them in Transit, saw the model I wanted which is this LS model. Asked them to call me when it got in. They called and 3 hours later I drove it home. But since then hard to find an LS model, only the more expensive trims seem to be arriving. Feel like I got lucky.
Here in the RI - Mass. area, the lower 3 base levels (LS, 1LT, 1RS) are chronically sold before ever reaching the dealership. Had to venture more than 100 miles just for a test drive. After placing a deposit (refundable, luckily!) on one which I was told would take 4 months to arrive (knowing it would be 5 or 6), I got lucky when a dealer in NH had 2 sales fall through (1 financing denied, another was a no-show), and within the week it arrived on the lot. The rest is history. : )
It looks really good. How are the driving dynamics of this thing ? I rented the previous generation trax in Florida on vacation once and on the highway with three adults and a child it felt dangerously underpowered.
it's so weird how this base model comes with a normal analog dash, and then just screen in the high trims. the digital HAS to be cheaper to produce... it just has to do with that being perceived as the more 'boomer' option instead of what's actually utilitarian, cheaper, and less busy looking...
As a boomer, this is what I’m looking for since I no longer work but just want my own when I do go out. I like the old school half dash even though I’m not totally lost with digital
I very seldom look at my phone. And when I am home it lays on the bedroom dresser. Once in a while I charge it. Only reason I have a phone is for emergency purposes when I am away from home at the store CVS or my doctor. You should try it life is so much better.

These Chevy Trax are very hard to come by even now. I got lucky, three days worth of calling every dealership in Michigan. I found what I was looking for a black activ. Art moehn Chevrolet - Chelsea michigan, price was $25943. Every option except sunroof, cordless phone charger! With my general motors discount, price was $24538. Tax, title, plates price $26008. I refuse their extended warranty, gap insurance. I put $6,000 down, borrowed 20,000 from my credit union, 72 month, interest rate with a credit score of over 800/ 7.4% payments are $333.46. I love this car. It just turned 800 miles today. Bought the little rubber mats for all the cup holder, door handles, rubber tech floor , rear cargo mats. Getting the front two windows tinted Wednesday, the other windows came tinted from the factory.😊

I didn’t get to drive the Trax. It has less horsepower and torque than the outgoing model. I guess I’d recommend doing a test drive 🤷🏻♂️

On the LS, no DRLs. On higher trims, the upper portion of the lighting where the front turn signal is on the LS is a solid white DRL
