Sadly the EU gets the worse LG battery pack, the US gets the better one from Panasonic. That's also why the thermals and power is different. For more info look below:
That's Tesla to blame. It's a serious engineering and quality control fault not to ensure that the car performs the same no matter the supplier. I'm not sure if the USA version is still free of thermal and performance issues.
I own this car, performance dips a bit when below 80% battery. 3.1 seconds to 100 is easily doable when your battery is in this bracket. Also the 100-200 is faster if the battery is full. When below 40% expect about 4 seconds to 0-100. I can confirm that the handling is very good for a car this price. I paid €57 K

Just some tips: USA battery = Panasonic (made in USA, so they get 7500 USD tax credits for cars there using it) China battery = LG LG battery has an initial kick a bit harder than Panasonic, but the Panasonic one does pull harder at very high speeds. The LG does charge a bit slower, but it should be said the LG does degrade much less over time. So over time the Panasonic will loose more performance as it degrades. The LG does reportedly weighs 50kg +- less I've read (not sure about the number). Other than that, the tests from USA which have best dragy runs are on prepped tracks with 18" rims and square 235 tires. Staggered setup doesent help for dragracing, neither does using track mode as in this video. Track mode cools battery too much for accelleration, you would want to first charge to 100% and then use "trip planner" to plan a trip to the supercharger. Then you can sit in the car and just let it heat, or drive a bit and then do pulls. The best dragracers charge and come to the prepared track with removed passenger seat, removed rear seat etc. Then they have as high SoC as they can (near 100% charge), they then look at the battery temperature as they preheat just before they race. They either use enhance s3xy buttons+app or another third party app like scan my tesla. If using enhance auto, you can also preheat from a widget on a phone, that phone can also act as a digital dash. So the difference 0-60 (or 0-100km/h) is very small, but the top end speed is much harder on USA version. But also remember that the people with quickest dragy times, are not driving around with extra seats or with OEM wheels. OEM wheels are very good should be said, but 235 square on 18" wheels can still shave off maybe 0.1 seconds or so 0-100km/h, as you can save some friction and some rotational mass. In USA it seems AS UHP tires in 235 in 18" are often used by Tesla dragracing people on prepped tracks.
It overheats like crazy on race tracks but you can even replicate that on the Autobahn. It is one of the worst if not the worst "performance" car the world has ever seen since it literally can't deliver sustained performance (overheating motors, overheating battery) and safety (brakes are gone smoking after a few minutes on a race tracks but at least they seem to be okay on highway runs). lol for tiktok kids maybe. Everyone with some industry knowledge, especially engineering and racing, knows basically any Tesla "Performance" car is shit
Anyone with a brain knows the tesla performance is of course more performance oriented than the norma model. BUT the important point that everyone seems to completely miss is the fact thats its a family car. Not a lambo.
Why you statements do go so much into extemes. I doubt this is the best EV car ever, I saw too many flaws. But it is a good one and definitely not a sh.t one. I do like me ICE performance car still more though.

(Model Y) i love absolutely everything about it, i will never ever again consider any other brand ever. it is a blessing each day. it is so insanely better than anything else i ever had. and i was a petrol guy and i can repair anything on ice cars. jsyk
I think the biggest difference is from light weight forged wheels..and tires, so shame. I hope Tesla would take Pansonic battery for every M3P in worldwide
Definitely disappointing. The Performance is not superior to my 22 M3P, its slightly faster, but overheats quicker. Seat position is worse, and the missing stalks due to cutting costs are a big mistake. Next EV wont be a Tesla, they dont care much about the cars anymore.
Not really impressive for a near 500hp car. 10 seconds from 100-200 km/h and 260 km/h is slower than some performance cars from the mid 2000s. A 2006 C6 Z06 did 100-200 in 7 seconds stock and 320+ km/h top speed.
They are not that bad when you get use to them, when I am driving my wife’s car it is not bothering me anymore and when I am driving my car with normal indicators I do not notice the difference anymore. I am just missing head up display in Tesla
nobody buys these cars with cash. most of them are leased through different schemes either provided by employers or through different businesses. depreciation is irrelevant to the first owners as they simply hand the car back at the end of term and the most depreciate the better for the 2nd hand buyers when the markets are flooded with these cars after 3 to 4 years.

Its 2024 but he was wrong
I love it for the price, but the brakes should last longer for such a powerful car that calls itself performance. Watch Misha Charoudins Video for example.
That’s bullshit. You cannot expect cars at this price point to have brakes that last a whole lap of Nordschleife. Model 3 Performance has excellent brakes, just as Martijn points out as well, but don’t expect them to last for long on a track at max speed. Upgrade to stronger stuff if you’re looking for that!
@@Berenvacht any other german car will not overheat that fast on the Autobahn. It IS a problem and I AM living in Germany and want to use a sporty car as intended.
@@Berenvacht its sold as a "performance" car. It should be better
@@Gochsener None German car can compete with the Tesla Model 3 at the same price tag, even the guy from the video said it very clearly "No car in the world has better suspension'" than the Tesla Model 3 at that price tag...
Its not a Performance car, its just a Tesla. A quicker Corolla.
I like the way you test and speak about the cars😊
I’m a petrol car lover but I’m also a Tesla fan 🥰
I have a Tesla M3P from 2021 and is very nice car to drive and the kick 🥰
I tried this version and in general all the car is better and I felt that is more faster in high speed it keeps going 🚀
One thing i dont understand in Tesla is that my model have 513 horse power a friend have also a TM3P and it has 530 horse power 😮
The one I tried the guy from Tesla said it was the one with 510 horse power

there was no p75d dude... 85, 90, 100. Thanks for review anyway :)
Martin sounds like Max from a couple years ago :))
Could you be so kind and include the comparison between comfort and sport mode of the adaptive chassis into a future video? 😉
Thanks in advance!
it's not 19" in the front. It's STILL 20", just less large
Ive seen some forum posts that discuss the China-built versions get 19" wheels rather than 20". Interested to see what is showing up in other markets!!
@@dl8538 only those "bought in China", not just "built" in China
@@alpahc Ah, thats interesting. I looked at the China configurator just to see what they looked like but haven't checked other major market configurators yet. Thanks!!
Why don’t you take the Hyundai Ioniq 5N?
not comparable really, it is in another Price league like 20k more
@@JohnSmith-pn2vl yeah, but „best“ EV? 🤔
@8:55 she/he Tesla was just helping you out. In reality that was a good catch, saving you from falling beside the road and having a nasty accident
excellent review, let the missinformed haters come in, i cannot wait!
Definitely the best car in the world at that price range. 😎😎😎😎
Electric cars all suffer from discharge rate so ideal is to combine internal combustion with electric motor. Bugatti ftw
The performance of this new model 3 is exactly the same as the old version
Damn I wanted to see more
Surprising Tesla W, but I would still take the BMW lol
What is the app to measure the speed of the car on the smartphone

I'm waiting for your review of Ioniq 5 N. I want to see if you will change your mind about your EV to go to or stay with TM3P 😊
Just a little thing, but in a freezing Scottish winter, stupid, delicate little door handles that pop out like that are bloody useless. You need something you can grab onto and pull with some force.
Best EV Car Ever
Yep, no car comes close at that price tag.
Ioniq 5N and Kia EV6 both disagree
lol for tiktok kids maybe.
Tesla 😍😍😍 Best Company of The Universe ❤❤❤❤❤
Wish I could legally do that in mine 😅
if I ever go EV, i'll be patient for the Rivian R3X. I wont give space Karen a dime.
damn, but you will give money to Bezos lmao
at this price any one can beat this rocket
Calling anyone on here who owns a Tesla. Please tell us what you like about the car and what you do not like about it?
My wife has m3 performance, when I am driving it I like playfulness of this car :D also for this price it has amazing audio quality, performance and long range versions have more speakers etc. I have few complaints, no head up display, no black headliner option and that is louder inside than my BMW iX (still much better than the old model 3) but it is not fair since my car is 2x price, much bigger etc
(Model Y) i love absolutely everything about it, i will never ever again consider any other brand ever.
it is a blessing each day. it is so insanely better than anything else i ever had.
and i was a petrol guy and i can repair anything on ice cars. jsyk
Everything expect the Autopilot 😂
Best car ever made. Period!
Looks like a cheap shitbox inside out. Cope.
I think the biggest difference is from light weight forged wheels..and tires,
so shame. I hope Tesla would take Pansonic battery for every M3P in worldwide
bmw bmw bmw 😂😂😂
Do you mean this car is like a BMW?
Do you mean this car is like a BMW?
@@danielshinerock1526absolutely nothing like a bmw.
@@G82Watts I see.
Definitely disappointing. The Performance is not superior to my 22 M3P, its slightly faster, but overheats quicker. Seat position is worse, and the missing stalks due to cutting costs are a big mistake. Next EV wont be a Tesla, they dont care much about the cars anymore.
Performance car in 2024 with a 10 second time from 100-200
9.6.
@@lachlanB323 mine does 8.2 and is not sheet electric emotionless rubbish.
@@omedonnie go pay for your feul little bro
Not really impressive for a near 500hp car. 10 seconds from 100-200 km/h and 260 km/h is slower than some performance cars from the mid 2000s. A 2006 C6 Z06 did 100-200 in 7 seconds stock and 320+ km/h top speed.
Oof. That's a dog from 200 upwards.
How does it compare to Ioniq 5N?
not comparable the ionic is like over 20k more
Indicators in the steering wheel? This is probably the stupidest idea ever
Its cutting costs.
@@origaminefretami3480 thats why i prefer cars before 2010 because they didnt cut corners.
They are not that bad when you get use to them, when I am driving my wife’s car it is not bothering me anymore and when I am driving my car with normal indicators I do not notice the difference anymore. I am just missing head up display in Tesla
you don't understand, they are not needed, next the steering wheel will go away.
2100 model 3 should be faster than the plaid 💀💀💀💀💀💀
Yes P Zero sucks... first thing i removed when I got my Porsche.
If only these cars didnt degrade in price that much,
nobody buys these cars with cash. most of them are leased through different schemes either provided by employers or through different businesses. depreciation is irrelevant to the first owners as they simply hand the car back at the end of term and the most depreciate the better for the 2nd hand buyers when the markets are flooded with these cars after 3 to 4 years.
@@borinvlogs yes they flood them with them only having a range of 250km... 5 years more its worth 0. So around 25k here in europe is in the drain
Tesla could have offered the 🇺🇸 version, probably due to cost.
Best performance sedan for the money. 0-60 mph in 2.9 seconds, just lacking a soul like an ICE car. I prefer Porsche but much more expensive….
What is your real name? Max or Martin?
9:47 same motors same powers but new model 3 weight more
This model is like seeing a grandma doing 100m in 8 seconds.
You gotta respect that, but it just doesn't seem or feel right.
The car doesn't look fast or agile.
Yeah, it is the perfect sleeper.
