Tesla, the following realization occurs to me: The vehicles are built and tested in California. The developers themselves, who certainly drive these vehicles privately, drive them in this region, with the US mindset Performance means drag race (1/4 & 1/2 mile), speed means 85 mph (137 km/h) more is not allowed anyway. And no one needs a working automatic windshield wiper, it never rains in California anyway.

Very much a California car, but still a very nice car in many ways. You would think it'd have more performant cooling though given the climate it was designed in! I guess is 99% of owners are never going to take it to a track then the lack of track brakes makes sense, the stock brakes work fine for drag racing.

I did not know, that in +50°C the power restriction kicks already in. The only way would be modding of the heat pump and/or intercooler on battery loop.

2:33 - Misha i believe the reason the tires are so good (other than them obviously being Pirellis) is those are the EV specific tires that were originally developed in conjunction with Lucid for the mighty 900v Air Sedan, because IIRC that's the vehicle on which those EV specific Pirellis made their debut with the car's debut back in 2021 with those ones now being specifically tweaked for the HM3P. for additional reference, Pirelli also just worked with Ford/Stard to make EV specific tires for their latest 1600HP F150 Lightning Electric Super Truck which recently ran Pikes Peak 2024 with Romain Dumas driving (again) taking this years Top Time Overall with an 8min 53sec.553...
so indeed the current tire supplier to Formula 1 has SIMULTANEOUSLY been "super interested" in gathering data from high TQ/heavy weight EV's for some time, and directing it back into making a better EV specific tire for Production cars.

Misha Charoudin more than 1000 laps in the nurb saying literally that the handling of this new model 3 performance is Amazing but @valerystoichkov7429 saying the car is shit on track.
If we judge the car objectively, this is the real analysis we must have :
      - Brakes are totally shit for track which is quite embarrasing for a performance car
      - Handling is very good
      - acceleration is very good
      - top speed ok, quite low
      - Battery get hot to quickly but seems to cool down quickly also. It's ok but dissapointed
      - seats are very good
      - suspension is good (or very good)
For less than 60 000€ the value is very very impressive but even with that low price (compare to concurrence) Tesla should not put these terrible brakes but I understand since most owner will not take their car on track. So the solution for this problem of bad brakes is they need to offer the option to buy better brakes from factory.

I own one, and yes, the M3P is a street performance car, and not optimized for a track. Especially a massive track like this. 99% of drivers will never need track oriented brakes. Big track brakes need heat to work. Teslas uses regen braking so the brakes are rarely hot. Which would mean awful braking on public roads. Anybody that goes to a big track like this and wants serious track performance, you will need to do upgrades. You’re not going to get a track ready monster out of the box for 50k guys, I’m sorry.
