@@VarnasL Certainly, I guess, yes. In my opinion, they were also particularly unaware of the nature of the problems we were going to encounter in the (present) future... And they were so naive that they didn't know what they were thinking and doing, out of ignorance and ideology, in their pseudo-religious way. It's very very interesting from an artistic point of view, it opened views and doors literally, as I have it in my personal life and activities (and with the experiences I've had and because I am an artist from the very new era) but it's so naive to show it as an example for young people haha. My children can xuck ‘em all, in counciousness and knowledge, also because I kept this kind of heritage and I passed this stage and I transmitted it to them... Easily.

Lots of people in the psychedelic circles today dont really like Timothy leary and i can understand why, but you have to admire his intelligence the guy escaped from prison, he was a professor at Harvard and he was a brilliant philosopher and had a great outlook on life, he probably should have mentioned the dangers a bit more and not been so public about it, but it was already out there and people were already doing it so its not fair to blame all of the Lsd problems on him, and what i really like about him is the way he spoke and the things he talked about like questioning authority which people tend to forget these days. He was a great guy.

I know. And it's even worst when it's your very own psychiatrists. Could you imagine ?? My psychiatrist had the nerve to ask me why in the hell did i took psychedelics, I almost not wanted to respond because i knew not only she'd never take me seriously, but that she was clearly infantilising me so, i said : why don't you take psychedelics mush ? And i am 21. LIke those brave young peacelings of the 60's, we are - you and me brother, and the world - once again confronted with authoritarian patronist hierachies holding conservative values that we can only change if we look deep within ourselves to hopefully find a greater sens of love and unity that we could share with everyone.

you know.....i still think people in 2017 are ignorant when it comes to psychedelics. i used to drink alcohol between the age of 16 to 18......but i stopped cause of the hangovers/puking. its so weird that alcohol is a social thing when its so strong. take too much alcohol and your night is over..the next day you have to recover from it....its basicly posion for the body. i have taken shrooms many times and gonna try lsd next week. i say one thing.....pshychedelics just open your mind...its like you are living in a dreamworld....after the trip you just go to sleep..and you will wake up the next morning without any side effects. it really changed me in a good way. after the trip your mind just goes to its normal state and thinking patterns. its not addictive cause with shrooms for example...the body builds up tolerance extremely fast, which means you won't feel much effect when you do it the following days. I don't know how lsd works but i will find out soon. as long as you do these kind of things in a safe environment and on a weekend for example. theres nothing bad about taking these things..as long as it doesnt affect your study or work. I think many people are closed minded and afraid for the things they don't know. but thats whats life is all about...trying out new things.

That's how it used to be maybe 7000 years ago, it was traditional for children to take psychedelics, they had ceremonies and everyone would take them. In the modern age however they are the most illegal thing you can have. Why? Because it's a biggest threat to the people on the top.
They still take them in remote places today though , where the authorities never lurks.

After quitting college, I "bummed" around the world and made lifelong friends. I have no regrets. I never dropped acid. Other than a few very small nuggets of "wisdom," Leary didn't know what he was talking about regarding drugs and their effects on the human brain.

Just like timothy said in many of his other interviews, that you should moderate everything, too much of anything is bad for you, even drugs, and timothy says that in his interviews. I mentioned water because if you drink too much water, too quickly, you WILL die, not maybe you will. So going by the way you think, is water also considered POISON?

@mcnowski What 61761176 is saying is not entirely untrue. One Erowid user reported being unable to eat n e thing but lite snacks for 2 weeks. Grof in Hofmann's Potion states that the psychedelic experience can be achieved w/o drugs via "...*fasting* in combination with meditation." The chemistry of the brain is connected with the chemistry of the body.

I'm sorry to hear that. Now I see you writing about a person misinterpreting the use of a drug, in stead of your first argument. Acid is not something that will control you. You merely react to it. Do I understand you agree or not?

acctually there is a report from the 20s or 30s where a family found shrooms and ate them for dinner, they all tripped and the daughter died, she was very little though. true? who knows, if you look around I bet you can find the info of what I am talking about

a j because the government doesnt want you to see your full potential. If everyone realized what that they had the power to change the world, the world would not be the way it is today.

Excatly 'they' don't want us to begin cooperation, thats what Cannabis, Psychedelics taught me. Imagine Cooperation on a global scale, rather than competition in every aspect 24/7. The Rulers/Bankers would lose their power if Psychedelics were legal

@dannyhood66 from what i saw on docos, he seemed to not handle the celebrity status he had. the same way that kurt cobain didnt handle it. it seems that drugs can trigger schizophrenia in people who are predisposed to it. so that does not mean that acid causes it. anyway, it is a touchy subject, and i dont claim to know a lot about syd barret. so you may be correct. i think acid got a bad reputation, and has gained some misconceptions via bad propaganda and a few famous cases like syd
