Finding carriers is number 1
Well I’m good I’ve 28 years as a fleet owner of 17 trucks my brokerage was a easy transition for me I personally don’t think you should be allowed to be freight broker without trucking experience even if you just drove for a year or 2
Hey just in a similar transition in my company, do you know if warehousing dry or cold storage is the next step to secure shippers?
It could be we started off with parking spots for carriers coming in overnight to Katy Texas
I drove for two years and now trying to transition into a broker.
One great segue into that world is having a trucker background onboarding a driver. Isn’t that difficult while carrier retention definitely is being able to identify carriers who are on time, all the time, every time is a KPI above all things
I would think finding customers/shippers is more challenging? I would think using the spot market for finding carriers is allot easier? I'm just saying...

1. Is it possible to get a surety bond without sharing SSN
2) Is it possible to avoid linking SSN with anonymous LLC's EIN? I want surety bonds for a freight brokerage (BMC-84).

Why you so scared to attach your name to your business you planning on doing shady stuff?
@@dah_goofster Why in the universe everyone assumes that a person plans to do shady stuff if it is anonymous LLC.
If it is soo bad for this country, why those states allow anonymous LLC in first place? Wny not just remove it?
I'm not doing anything illegal or shady. period.
If you are not doing any shady stuff in your life, why not share your full SSN. Why not post your paystubs and tax returns online. Yes, Privacy... Hope you got my point.
@@LetsBeHuman you did a pretty poor job of defending yourself there my guy 🤣 anyone with a brain knows how shady the trucking industry is already. Think about it you broker a bunch of orders then don’t pay the driver and run off with the money. Nothing is attached to your SSN you take no risk. Or how about taxes? “Well this business isn’t in my name see my SSN isn’t attached” let me tell you that only works for so long until you owe enough money for someone to look into it. The judges aren’t stupid they know people do this type of thing.
@@dah_goofster That may be with other people. I was just learning about this industry by watching these tutorials, and I already decided not pursue further.
But I know for sure IRS and Federal knows the identity behind any anonymous business. There is nothing 100% anonymous there. Period.

I got carriers how do you find serious shippers. All I get are mofos who want a free quote.
Load boards to back track logistic see where the freights rates and large amounts of loads are coming out of which areas code call from there pitch your services see who bites it helps to use a big map
