yep!! agreed!!
Honestly to really understand all aspects of the business i suggest becoming a carrier 1st as i did , just to dispatch trucks , then open a brokerage at the same time that way you undertand whats fair and whats not and you always profit. Their will be times when carriers are winning and their will be times the brokers are winning, but if you do both your always winning ! Its ALOT of hard work but its the closest to a sure thing to make profits in this industry .
You're always so helpful!
Very helpful information. Thanks again Brandon.
thank you!!

Congratulations you’re robbing truck drivers. That’s terrible seriously unethical. Free brokers should only be allowed to make single digit profits far is percentagewise. She’ll drivers are doing all the hard work putting their equipment on the line away from your family and your taken 20% in 30%? That’s awful that’s terrible. It’s like robbing a military veteran. Truck drivers are such an important role in our every day world and you’re over here taking a quarter or 30% more or more off their back
A little bit of advice to all new brokers. If your profit is 20 dollar on that load take it and pay your carriers on time
thanks for commenting
@Off mask. $20 is not enough of a income to pay for the contracts, the dispatch, the phones, internet service, or TMS … I totally understand paying drivers and that can be done thru factoring but no one is in business for $20. Walmart is a broker as well and I don’t see these types of comments about making no money and just paying drivers. Logistics is a system with many players and it’s time for drivers to educate themselves in business as a whole not just their pockets. That’s not business that’s a hustle. In this age we have to get past the poverty mentality and focus on the wealth creation model.

It’s only a step to get to the next level, build the relationship first and you’ll see the reward . I now own my equipment ,why? Because I Wasn’t focused on the cash flow just yet.. It’s chess not checkers.

Hey Brandon…do u have loads as power only…or what’s your advice
I still didn’t catch where to find new shippers ? FTL that’s so broad
Where do I find shippers with loads need to move ? On what tms software is the best for that?
Hi Brandon!I pray 🙏🏾 that all is well my friend,so what is the difference in weight between a partial and an LTL Load? Thanks!
LTL is typically 6 pallets or less - partial is between 6 and 12 maybe 15 pallets
@@bh5msu Thanks
Use Hot shots for LTL
Good evening Brandon,
I’m looking for shippers that have their loadlist posted online and they give you a password to get in a see the loads available?
Any help?
hmmm🤔🤔🤔..let me know if you find it..
I have a ton of time in the industry. However not on the broker side. I have taken the Tia class and it was not as helpful as your series of videos (collectively). Our doors opened Tuesday(5 days ago) with fmcsa, tendered our first load Friday and all went well, Driver delivered this am. I attribute this to scouting shippers weeks before being active. I also set all my software, website, accounting etc up in advance. My question is what are you using for crm? Is there one that will integrate with ascend or another tms? It would be nice to have all things in one place so I’m not jumping between software. Also do you have a guy that underwrites e&o contingency cargo for a fair price, been getting $7k annually for a quote on 250k gross annually . Thanks for the videos, keep them coming.
If you don’t mind me asking, how did you get your first customer?
@@christopherthompkins3748 walked into a shipper and just inquired if they had someone present who I could discuss inbound and outbound freight lanes with. The front desk said yes and I waited about 2 minutes. The manager came out and after 5 minutes of discussion she told me to write down my information (I was waiting on business cards to arrive from vista print ) and she would get in touch. 2 hours later after lunch she had emailed me the requirements to work with the company and requested my broker packet. I would also like to mention this company moves a large amount of freight as they have multiple products harvested and distributed all year. I will say it is best to go slow and try to learn with smaller runs so if you make a mistake the cost to your company is minimal. Also learned a lot on my first run finally being on the opposite end which inspired confidence to keep on going.
Hey I wanna take a class with you, what I can do.
Hey Brandon, Should I be reaching out to Shippers while my authorization is pending? I’m so excited to start calling and making connections. What are your thoughts?
Yes u can. If you find a shipper before your authority becomes active, get with a brokerage and get a 70% off profit then once u get ur brokerage, transfer your shippers with you
@@ballercert Thats Smart! Thanks!
Move it on a hotshot ltl
What is LTL loads ? And FTL loads? Thank you ! Blessings 🙏🏾
LTL Is a multiple stops or pick ups.
FTL is full loads
LTL-Less then Truckload
FTL- Full Truckload
full truck loads...less than truckload

Expert Charles has been managing my trade for months and I keep making profits every week , made $30,000 last week. I'd recommend him for any novice in crypto.
I don’t care if it’s a full truck load or you spit in the trailer, I’m not charging less because it’s only one pallet.
Do you offer a class to help you become a broker?

I'm having a issue just getting the shippers to talk to me . I've been in the trucking buisness for 10 years. I'm really familiar with how it all works but I've spent 2 months and have 10 agents calling and we can't get it done . Is this normal?
Hey sound like you've been in the right business if you've been in trucking for 10 years. You possibly could talk to shippers personally. I wish you nothing, but blessings. I would start off small though, if you haven't gotten any customers, I wouldn't have agents until you are moving a bunch of freight.
Hi Brendon
I am a new broker
How I can find a broker to be co broker
I’m struggling with Single refrigerated skids from New Jersey to FL .
It’s long haul but difficult to find pricing .
Any tips or references you can provide ?
Lane - NJ to FL. & NJ to TX etc
Check loadboard ask how much other brokers pays to carriers and calculate your own price. If i understand right what you mean
Did you post the loads and get a quote from Carriers
Yes but 1 skid 3300 is too much . Not winning the bid . And a lot of them are sending dedicated rates .
Any Intra-US dedicated companies that special is Frozen LTL ?
Where can I go to see freight broker rates for loads
trucker loadboard...
I MEAN where can we find rates that Shipper s give to brokers...just to clarify my question
@@balticintelligence5713 no where. You will have to get your own shipper or work with a broker that is willing to show you his books. Aka wont likely happen. You don’t need to see what the broker made all you need to know is your cost to operate. Anything over that cpm is profit, problem is most carriers don’t understand what that is. It’s crucial to stay in business…
@@News_youcanuse Are you saying there is no average $ per mile the shipper is willing to pay???
@@News_youcanuse The main reason am asking is because I just registered a brokerage and am looking for a general feel of pricing
Hello, Brandon as Nurse who want to starts a freight brokerage , I know it’s going to be an uphill battle but how do I get into medical logistics . Have you ever moved freight for healthcare and pharma, how do I get into that?
This something that no one would ever tell u lol even Brandon himself wouldn’t. There’s money in Medical freight and the hard truth is that you just have to find your own way. Go build connections
I don't have my first customer yet, but it sounds like you were in the right industry to move medical equipment. There was a guy on RUclips that was a carrier and I believe he said he just went to a place that delivers and offered his services. I would research that field of moving medical supplies and then start calling. I'm wishing you nothing but blessings! You got this!
I need help fellow freight brokers... I'm new. I'm trying to start off finding produce shippers and a lot of them are telling me they are F.O.B. and I just don't understand what that is or how to counter that with a reply. What do I say a shipper that tells me they are FOB???
why don't you ask the shipper?
@@brandonthefreightbroker because I feel that by asking them that question, they'll know I'm new to the industry and not do business with me.
F.O.B....Freight On Boad; means that they have their own drivers to move their freight. There is nothing to tell or ask for they hire drivers as employees

You Brokers need to stop cutting each other's throat. Every Long Haul load should pay the truck $3 a mile or more.
Thanks Brandon!!
