Mate, can't believe what a difference that filter made to your IR. By the way, after a lot research from our time there, it is called Mieklejohns Wharf although that is almost lost in history. Looks like the next day was one of those "careful what you wish for days" but awesome results on such a difficult day. I was at Mt Cook only about 2 or 3 weeks before you I think and it was covered in about a meter of snow and ice. Made the Hooker track very very difficult and took me 5 hrs to get out in the dark. Tasman Lake was still closed. Amazing what a difference a few weeks can make.

Thanks Levin, good to know the correct name, I have only heard it referred to as "The Old Glenorchy Jetty". Your trip was a after mine I think. You certainly had more snow than us.

Great images and video. We were there in April before you and addition of the snow on the peaks and great light makes so much difference to the locations. Great to watch.
