  • Hey guys, Thanks for tuning in. In this video, I will show you how you can build your own Arduino Uno board at home. This is super handy and cost-effective also. With that, you can modify the board to your needs as I have done here. The process is very straightforward and I will guide you through this process in detail. So let's start making our own Arduino board.

    Where did you get those female header pins which are having printed matter (arduino pin names) ?

    • @BeingEngineers1
      @BeingEngineers1  5 лет назад

      Arduino pin names are printed on the PCB, that is called silkscreen. Female headers are the generic one. Nothing special.

    Sir But in JLCBCB they charge a shipping cost According to my experience it was 61$ for my account's 1st delivery!

  • @udaykarthikeya
    @udaykarthikeya 5 лет назад +1

    Did they charge any shipping charges for pcbs or components ?

    • @BeingEngineers1
      @BeingEngineers1  5 лет назад +1

      Yeah! There was a time they used to offer free shipping for first time user, but now you have to pay around $5 for shipping by registered air mail.

    Hi Nice video. can u tell me how much time exactly it took u to order PCBs from JLC PCB, from the day u placed and to the day it arrived. how much time it took in total?

    • @BeingEngineers1
      @BeingEngineers1  5 лет назад +1

      Thanks. For me it generally takes 5 days for the complete process, from ordering the PCBs to receiving the product.

      @@BeingEngineers1 so fast from China? Where u live? Including custom clearance?

    • @BeingEngineers1
      @BeingEngineers1  5 лет назад

      Yeah. I choose the DHL shipping. With normal registered post it will not be that fast. I live in India.

    • @kedarprabhudessai
      @kedarprabhudessai 5 лет назад

      @@BeingEngineers1 me too 🙂 i am also from India. So how much was the shipping? And how much did u pay custom duty?

    • @BeingEngineers1
      @BeingEngineers1  5 лет назад

      Shipping through DHL costed $22. DHL takes care of all the customs. you just need to upload a ID to their website when asked. When they will hand over the parcel to you, you will be given the bill for import duties that DHL pays for you beforehand. Their service is commendable but that comes with a price.
      But if you are not in a hurry, choose registered air mail shipping. It will cost around $6, no import duties will be charged unless you are very unlucky. But the whole process will take around 25 days.

    • @BeingEngineers1
      @BeingEngineers1  5 лет назад +1

      yeah. You need to make a PCB. Or if you want you can just use this layout. Gerber file is there in the description.
