Brilliant video as always, matey! I think I struggle with hay-fever, too. It's such a nuisance when out detecting. Some nice finds there, Dan! Can't wait to meet up! 😊👍
@markwilkinson8740 thank you mate 👍. I'm still always learning the manticore, it's a very indepth machine. I don't very ofter use the screen, but reather the tones. But I luke the let the viewers see everything and like you say, it can be helpful in a lot of ways 😊. Take care mate, have a great week 👍
I also had hayfever really bad , used to sneeze all day and watery eyes got so tired , I now take beconase nose spray, once at night once in morning , hay fever completely gone , give it a try😊
Just a word of warning Dan my mate went for a walk through a field on his cousins farm down your way wearing just shorts and trainers, he got bit and ended up with limes disease. That skin so soft works great for midge and mozzies, not sure about ticks though!
Great video as always , its good to see your views on the 2d screen. I tend not to dig the signals at the lower limit but I'll pay more attention to them now! One question, I don't really like the Arteseal finish on the coins as it looks a bit glossy and artificial, is ther another more matt product that you would recommend?
@hectordetectorist6919 thank you mate, those lower limit signals are usually just the machine trying to say that there is something there, but it's not 100% sure. You'll find that once you dig them up, they will improve dramatically and usually land on the centre line. So always dig them 👍. As for the arteseal, that's my fault, as the lowest percentage I have, is 10% and it's not the best for coins. I would certainly recommend getting the 3% or 5% for coins, which I will be purchasing myself and it shouldn't be quite so shiny 👍. Don't forget you can use code DIGGERDAN10 for 10% off too
That lever thing is for crushing nuts. There would have been one the other side. I’ve found one before and only knew because my grandad used to have one for crushing walnuts at Xmas 😂
Tell me one thing, any1, why do most the manticore model get returned?... look on sales sights an certain sales guys will have up to 15 used units marked down 300 or so... i know cuz iwqs interested in this new model till i noticed the returns that may or may not have the warranty still applicable... lmk
The shape of the trace isn’t the shape of the target it indicates the purity of the object. Hence coins that are predominately one metal show a tight circular trace just a coincidence that coins are also round.
@outdoorsy01 you won't get much better than the Manticore mate, it truely is a great machine 👍. Jordan at Dragon Detecting can't give 10% discount on machines, but he always throws in some nice freebies if you call him on 01792 687321 and mention Digger Dan 😊👍
Every day is a school day! I saw your strap end and thought “I’ve got one of those” in the scrap! I thought it was a fork! 😬
Another great watch Dan 👍
@SedgefieldMetalDetecting thanks mate 👍. Those two prongs would have been where the plates of the strap end would have attached 😊

Thanks for the video.
That coin on edge! Wow! Hit right on it.
Nice vid - very helpful as someone new to a Manti to see your target traces and what you are digging. Also helps to see some rubbish traces as well.

Takes about 3 days to take effect but then your golden
That hinged long handled item looks like a bent handle from half a nutcracker. I don't know for sure though.
@steveandermatt5668 thank you very much mate, I think you are definitely right there 👍
Dan do you ever discuss your settings in detail

@emilyjayne77 I really do hope so 🙏. First time today, in a few weeks that I haven't felt it much, so fingers crossed that's it for this year 🤞

Don’t how true it is but stinging ur self with a nettle stops hay fever 🤷🏻♀️
@Love2detect I have heard that one as well 🤔. Just not sure I like the idea lol 😆 😅. Where exactly is best to sting ones self? 😂
