- Like me, I’m sure many of you are very nervous about leaving your pride and joy to be worked on at a main dealer! Well, I thought I’d share a customer perspective video of my car being serviced at Ford specialists FJRS - it’s definitely a place you can trust and feel relaxed about leaving your car at to be serviced / fixed / upgraded.

Excellent service mate really makes you feel comfortable and satisfied when you can see what's going on and how the car is being treated. I stopped going to Ford after they left a massive ding in the door and said it was already there worst experience ever will never use a main dealer again. My local garage does an amazing job and show the car the respect it deserves.

I would have them service my RS but as they don’t give the years free aa cover it goes to Rates who have always taken very good care of me.
Great to see your Focus RS is in very good hands and you have no major issues,yours seems to be reliable for 12 years old.
Yea she’s a decent one luckily. Jonny said after the road test that it runs sweet 👌🏻
Best memories picking up my Fiesta ST and Focus RS outside that building - top customer service.

I to have 2010 green rs had it going on 6 years my first experience at a ford dealership here in Oxford not very happy. But found a ford dealership out of Oxford and been very happy for the last couple of years.👍
Glad you found a trust worthy garage as im yet to find one lol! even Evans Halshaw who is meant to be this huge trustworthy company cant even be trusted, i took my Focus in for a repair under warranty and checked dashcam that they tried unplugging but is hardwired and they were using my car to go fish shop down road and basically as a run around....ended up getting free services and an extra two years warranty, decided you know what im just going to learn how to service my car myself and change tyres and bulbs etc so now only time i go to a garage is for when parts go on it i cant do myself.
That’s terrible service from Ford!! I’d be fuming! It definitely makes the whole process of car ownership far less stressful once you’ve found a garage you can trust. So many cowboys out there these days 😢

I like that they take the wheels off and grease as main dealers stopped this years ago.

Great video as per mate , had great customer service here when it was primarily Mountune with my dads old MK3 , but sadly then weren't allowed into the workshop for a nosey ! , luckily the waiting area is very plush !
Yea they were pretty strict when Mountune were running it and you also never got to talk to the techs as Ryan used to head up the desk (he was a nice bloke though). More relaxed now and great to have the lads talk you through what they’ve found etc.
Nice one Gary! Made the right choice getting rid of the mk3 for the MK2 👍 Doing the same with my 2009 TTs mk2.Changed the spark plugs myself,got some NGK R.Runs a lot smoother.Got to do the oil change next week.Got some Millers motet sports oil 😊👍

Wish they weren’t so far away, Essex is a bit of a journey for a service! Great video loved seeing the mountune parts
Maybe if you ever need something a little more extensive doing you could always consider them 👍🏻

Looks good. Prefer to service my car myself but if I had a car with full service history that was worth a few quid I'd probably get it done at a place like this.

@@CarFocused Just to add , i went for the EBC OE spec front disks and yellow stuff pads. Perfectly fine mate .
@@monty6545 I can get genuine Ford front discs and pads for £250. Were yours cheaper?
@@CarFocused I think they cost around £350 a few months back . They are fast road pads .
If you are on a budget i have my previous set on facebook market place . They were only on the car 5000 mls loads of wear left , Brembo discs and Pagid pads .

All done properly can't ask for anything else, car always feels fresh when serviced aswell, mine is due to service in September 😀

Couldn't agree more......problem is I don't want any other place touching it now. I used to hate handing my car to a garage now look forward to it🤣🤣

@@CarFocused yes im paranoid with my mk3 she only done 1400 miles and want her to be handled properly these guys look to be ideal, im only gravesend so not too far
Does look a nice posh place, my rs goes down a local dairy farm in the evenings for my service work on the side, I always supply genuine parts but basically pay zero labour 👍 yeah no stamps in the book but keep all the receipts for parts
That’s fair enough dude, I just like the guys to keep an eye on the car for me and yea I like a stamp in the book too 😁
@@CarFocused I have local ford specialist who's a Ford master tech and I have him do any maintenance work that needs doing, the guys at sabre did all my belts and water pump last year along with fixing a vvt issue, because I do oil 2 or 3 times a year because its a daily I'd be wasting so much money going to places like this haha
Whats age got to do with anything? 12 years old makes this car even greater its a true classic hence how rare and expensive they are

Looks very hassle free and very professional. I assume the price tag that comes along with this is a bit more than what a main dealer would charge though right? 🤔
To be honest in terms of pricing it’s pretty much the same, if not a little cheaper!

Being dim here, are these people Mountune? Have they changed their name or are they totally different people? I’m looking to get my mk8 fiesta st serviced, I don’t want to go to the idiots that bodged the service last year, a for main dealer !!
Fred & Johnny essentially used to run the Mountune workshop - but then Mountune gave up the workshop stuff so Fred & Johnny took it over under their own business name, but they are still a Mountune pro authorised dealer and pretty much carry out all of the same stuff but they now have more freedom as it’s their own business 👍🏻
