Yes and no, it's the same infrastructure, so it's technically still the same amount of CPU intensity, but it will better support DirectX12 which specifically gives roughly 75% of the workload from the CPU to the GPU. But anyone running VRage3.0 on DirectX11 or older, will have to deal with the same amount of dependency on the CPU. However, so long as anyone has a decent GPU, something like a GTX 1080 or any RTX, they can make full use of DirectX12 and their GPU's processing power for the game.@@yoshinottv
@@yoshinottvMake's sense if i see, that it takes what it can get from my i9, while my 3090 has a bore out. GPUs are better for physics anyways. Because it has to do a metric but ton of simple calculations at best yesterday. So the capability of a CPU for processing complex calculations in no time but one after the other isn't worth much in this use case.
Whoa... when Aaron says "hit that like button" in the video, a rainbow effect lights up the button in the interface. Jump to 13:35 to see it for yourself. That's something new...
wow that was an amazing job they did! The number of hours and days that went into must have been a lot. I am glad you refrained from blowing anything up but I know you were thinking about doing it :) Also have you thought about reviewing server computers? I have been wanting to build one myself. Maybe a basic tutorial video or collab between different creators. With so many options I am just curious how others have their own system setup and what kind of SIM speed they are getting.
Space engineers: you can build anything you want and have large ship battles Also space engineers: but your fps and sim speed will tank, game will crash, and you'll be default pcu limited to barely make enough stuff for you let alone your friends, try experimental mode where we don't assume liability. Oh and we have many bugs you can vote on to fix cause us just being aware of a broken part of our game isn't enough to warrant fixing, now you can vote on it! Dont forget to check out our servers, rubber banding, lag, grid auto no login no warning delete too why? Cause it's easier than optimization! We also feature disgruntled non paid Admins and server downtime measured in days and or weeks! Yay! Space engineers 2: let's add way more stuff, water, and physics to make the problem even worse, it'll be fun guys. You trust us to optimize no doubt, no worries! Seriously, I love this game, but this kind of attitude and disregard is what kills games and player bases over time.
Random idea, could the train modify speed limits using a sort of barcode and scanner using blocks within the tracks and bank of short range cameras? I love watching all the videos of cool things people create that I never have time for these days. Thanks for all your work.
I was amazed at the base with all the decorations and then realized it was functional, and also there was a forklift to work with it. It's awesome the amount of creativity and stuff you can create within the game. Awesome video
Very impressive. Actually, such "civil" things look more interesting than popular wargears in this game. Unfortunately, it takes a lot of time to play SE, so I only watching other people's creations on RUclips :)
Yea, this is a thing that alot of good games fail at. multicore processing. Sure, multithread helps, but 2 threads is usually the limit. If SE could run unlocked, or a core utilizer and selector like Arma3. with hyperthreading on/off. that would be so much better.
I started to play the game recently and if the promesse of the game is that the limit is our creativity, it is not true in practice. You can't go wild as in Satisfactory which is much more beautiful but also more optimize. Space Engineers is so limited by the optimization, you can't go really wild and have decent performance. That is so frustrating.
Trains make no sense in SE. All ores that can be found on vanilla planets and moons can be found within 5km of where ever you land. 90% of any grid's mass is iron, next is probably nickel and cobalt and the rest are tiny amounts. Fe, Ni and Co are typically found together in one ore group. There fore you can simply mine, refine, make parts and build what ever you are building there. You can mine and refine ingots at the 2 other locations within 5km that will give you the rest of the terrestrial ores and simply transport those tiny amounts of ingots to the main production area with a small ship or rover. H2 has no mass, so tankers can easily move the fuel to the central location as well from an ice location Unless keen changes resource distribution, they are pointless.
Dude there isn’t a single reason or purpose for trains, they are clang machines. And is really only for single player. A river or ship would work much better and faster
I really hope SE2 will allow for things like this with a smooth FPS
This was possible only with the last optimization update. I think 50fps and 0.7 SIM are still good
This is running on a 2013 physics engine. I'm sure the new VRage engine will be much more optimized
Not sure who payed attention, but VRage 2.0 is running as CPU heavy, the VRage 3.0 Engine is gonna be relying more on your GPU. So depends.

My computer is crying just watching this. It’s amazing and I wish I could run it..
I feel you
This has got to be the coolest looking train ive see in the game.
I think Aaron has his Forklift Certification

Caught me off guard as well
best train tech yet!, all other designs are NULL!

they? I built it alone :D It tooks 3 mounths from first prototype to final world
@@Hane1s impressive! good job! That is definitely a labor of love.
@@Hane1s'They' isn't always the plural. It's used in situations where you don't know the gender or the quantity of people. But nice job on this!

That's truly amazing, game is 11 years old but still epic.
10:17 that's how they made the final fantasy 7 intro
I love seeing trains in SE, there were some really cool shots of the train in this vid..

Absolutely beautiful!
This looks so cool. That took a lot of work to pull off.
Wow Forklifts, this community is incredible
The detail is incredible!
Just picking up the game again, and noticed youtube must have unsubscribed me!?? Anyways, thanks for the continued videos!
So amazing! I wonder how the tracks have been placed in that super smooth, naturally looking way.
A mono rail in SE2 would be amazing
Is there a tut on how to build the trailer itself?
I'm kinda surprised nobody has created a factorio mod for SE.
Big automation like that is my favorite thing about a game. The lack of it in SE keeps me from staying in the game.
Trains=happy
I love trains but I have only mastered multi stage rockets in SE
Very impressive. Actually, such "civil" things look more interesting than popular wargears in this game. Unfortunately, it takes a lot of time to play SE, so I only watching other people's creations on RUclips :)
oh god anything but this opening song
Train design looks like it’s based on the train from the “ghost of mars” horror film.
Green/yellow tends to be diesel.
Red Gasoline
Blue kerosene
Inspiring, to say he least!
this is so incredible what a great job excellent
Mister Clang quits by SE and go to a another game.....to mutch work for him! XD
I was here. And I approve!
@hanels is crazy

It's very cool, but it's not very playable due to the sim speed :/
🤯🤯🤯
You should put this in your mas aaron server
I think those pipes on the train were actually supposed to be steel coils.

Any more maps like this and we're gonna have to have minimum requirements for maps!
I feel like this was inspired by Kessel
красиво. жаль не тянет много народа
Oh man this was amazing
How do you manage such an idea with the PCU limit and low player cap?
you don't
:(
Theres any practical and efficient "blueprints" in this game, that actually can be used in-game in a real gameplay?
In the early days this video would have ended with the train crashing from a blown up bridge into the ravine below.
looks like it's time for a new PC Arron
I really love the idea, just sad the game engine is experienceing heart palpitations at the mere thought of multiple moving objects interacting

Gotta crash the train next time
Whats the point of having a train if you cant throw it off a bend >:c
is this with damage on or off
I’ve been wanting to make trains but never tested how I would do it
Dude... What... How...
Bro it’s not factorio
artiface
It is nice and all but who cares when you run into f ps and it makes it unplayable. Pure trash engine.

trains
Of course there's a reason. Trains are cool.
You sound like boring mc… uh, mc boring face?
Trains
Really wanted to see the train fly off the tracks. 😅
