Finally, a Go-Kart for grownups to enjoy! You need to officially design this awesome Beast of a Go-Kart for Honda! These things would sell like hotcakes and you'd make a Fortune! I'll order mine in advance...
Nice walk around to show the build. Looks like some really nice work you have done. I was hoping you would run it in the video & wow yes that's a really nice kart - neat to see it in action!
I WISH they could make these type of vehicles street legal.Headlights, turn signals ,VERY loud horn,Radio, maybe an airbag. I'm from N.E. Pa. and often daydream about going to the Jersey Shore with a bunch of friends ,driving these things all the way down.A small custom trailer hitched to the back with your beach stuff in it. That would be AWESOME !
Looks like you still got alot of work to do for the cage but looks awesome, I would recommend moving exhaust up and out of the back for ground clearance and fumes if you get stuck
This thing is super awesome. Just one thing, and im sure you have been told it or maybe even fixed it since. But you need to have the rear axle further behind the engine because of the weight distribution. Its too much weight to the rear. Other than that, I want one!
Well done, seems to work very well, difficult to have rear suspension with the chain drive in that configuration. Looks like it has great traction with the 4 wheel drive.
I think it is more to do with the fact that the engine is over the rear wheels, and the driver is just in front of the rear wheels, nothing over the front wheels.
Great idea, wrong design. Frame way too heavy, narrow track and too short wheelbase unless it was going to be a tractor. Should be more like a sand rail dune buggy type design, built for speed to go over rough terrain. Best bet would be to get a rwd drive 4 wheeler suspension and modify wider and longer. Or Honda Odyssey style.
Love the fat tires and the engine sounds great! It would probably turn much tighter if the front drive were slightly faster than the rear. Still, seriously cool!
They should upgrade it so that it performes like a monstertruck but smaller in size. Like rear wheels seperate steering, longer springs, rollcage and seat with straps and things like that.
Love it!! I just got my hands on a newr GSX-R 1000cc motorcycle engine and im gonna build one of these but im thinking of putting on a turbo just so it can be officially called a death machine.. I was thinking about building a 351 cleveland v8 kart but decided in my hands would be a fatal mistake. So im just gonna try this build first and see how well it runs and now that I think of it this might be even more dangerous than a heavy v8 kart...
+Cliff Walker I love seeing these projects, then usually get disappointed at the test drive when I see no roll cage and helmet. I really don't understand that.
+143Chippy Is a roll cage really that necessary? ATVs never have roll cages and people only get hurt if they are being stupid on it. A helmet on the other hand would be a lot better. But roll cage isn't always needed. Besides I've seen plenty of roll cages break and fail when needed...especially on factory go karts...they build them too weak to handle the weight.
I see a separate gear box where the chain drive is. Is that a forward/reverse box? I am building a similar buggy for my son and I have been looking for a forward reverse box.
Jakob Gfellner Sorry to be a a pain, but do you have any more info so I can search for one on ebay? I have tried, but all i get is offerings for cheap mad overseas units made for go carts with 5 or 10 hp max rating, not the power a motorcycle motor makes.
Nick Pastore www.happy-motorparts.de/shop/article_F-1096/Hinterachse-mit-R%C3%BCckw%C3%A4rtsgang.html?shop_param=cid%3D315%26aid%3DF-1096%26 this transmission I've used but it is not available for the time
Jakob Gfellner I'm 15 where I live I can get my motorcycles permit at 15, well I've talked my parents into letting me get one but, they still are not sure, that's not important. What is, I'm gonna get zx6r or gsxr 600 or something to put in a go cart frame similar to yours. What is some of the simple stuff I need? I'm not worried about gauges and stuff, just what do I need to get it running and drive able? Plus i Dont care if anyone says I Dont need one a motorcycle motor cause I'm 15. I know the risk and all that. My question is what all do I need. Thanks.
You need some steering brakes or a change from that solid rear axle if you ever plan on steering such a light machine with flotation tires on slick surfaces. A limited slip rear end would help along with some single rib front tires that can at least give you a bit of bite in the turns. Cool machine though. Enjoy
MoBiN_3M car meets and hang out Sorry to pop your Day Dream Bubble Broskii, But he never said anything about 4wheel Drive! IF He did and I missed, Then he might have meant going 4wheeling, But Im Unsure of what your talking about bro!!! You made me even go back over the video too.... Lmfao
I have an engine like this on a snoco three wheeler with a suicide shifter, rollcage and five point buckles so when I crash I live. hits at least 100mph on the street with a dedicated rear diff and tires and I sure as hell love it
death machine! i love it! hard to shift gears on the side like that when you are bouncing around huh? i made a kart when i was a kid with a 125cc yamaha with shifter in same place, was a pain in arse to shift but was soooo fun to ride. great work, looks good man
Love the go kart design but there are some things that need to be changed and that seat looks way to in comfortable please do an update video thanks a lot
+Matthew Richardson Not really. Most go karts home built or factory usually just use a live axle. Long as you get the Ackerman angle setup properly, turning goes smoothly. Differentials are just an added expense to go karts.
+Ratkill9000 The Ackerman angle is for the front wheels. I would expect that Matthew was referring to the rear axle. A differential in the rear would be useful if the kart is being driven on the road, but I agree offroad it doesn't really matter.
Hello, im building something like this, and id love to ask a fiew questions how should i go about setting up my suspension, i like the way you have yours built. Also, how the motorcycle engine is mounted in there....of course ill be building my frame around the engine though..but i am an auto technician with no knowledge on motorcycle engines and mounting points/mounts even though ill be getting a book to read up on motorcycle engines and transmissions before i start my project, any help is appreciated, thanks
Cool!! Very!! If You asked my thoughton the final product (not that you did/would) Id say it needs a better seat with sum soring recoil like from a tractor or skid loader as well as a little more weight in the front! Exp. if you wanted to keep it strictly as an off roading machine! But very very cool man! nice build.. be proud! surprising good sound as well!!! mad props!!

there is just something about this machine that makes it so cool.
T-Mans Go Karts vídeo de comooperral un mofle
the tires, and excaust
T-Mans Go Karts the tires.
como fazer gaiola moto ?
vendo ?
T-Mans Go Karts Maybe its the CBR600F engine?
Looks great. Don't let folks get you down over a ROPS. You get to it after a workable model. Done well.
You put on hand protection but not head protection? That's brilliant. Really smart. And this thing understeers like mad!
Nobody cares
top heavy. and weight reduction😂😂
The first time he rolls it AWESOME becomes DEADLY.
R.O.P.S.
Roll Over Protection System!
Was thinking the exact same thing...
archangel20031 it's roll over protective structure... definitely needs one that's for sure!
Scary to have that much power and no cage.
Good job, looks like fun!
Need to hold the throttle longer on your jumps to really get off the ground!
I'd seriously be interested in a build sheet!
It would be a bit of work, but I think suspension would be a good idea, you looked like you bounced about a lot. Great little machine though !
I think a roll cage would be needed!
And some camber
ricochetey cool
Jambo Jimbo
Yeah does this have 5 gear
it's lacking something, a real man who's not scared to open it up.... thanks for wasting two minutes and fifty five seconds of my life.
Nice man, but with that much power it might be worth the small investment of time and money needed to install a roll cage. Safety first!
pfft roll cage is more weight thats why we got our necks yo land on xD lmfao
it'll be fine mom. lol
Phil Dog true, I have a manco 2 seater with a predator 212 that I rolled. The toll cage saved my life
OMG its awesome, but NEEDS a roll cage and race belt lol! BEAST!
Honda should buy the design and do this thing in mass
Эдуард Четверик
2 weel drive !
Looks like you still got alot of work to do for the cage but looks awesome, I would recommend moving exhaust up and out of the back for ground clearance and fumes if you get stuck
Not quite unlike the first generation Honda Odyssey!
Bhutto l
you get my up vote for being ballsy enough to drive that deathtrap.
pretty sweet. looks like it has ton of understeer tho
not enough weight on front end lol
Tyson Judd solid rear axle, no differential.
Tyson Judd imagine that with independent suspension in the back
Because of the solid rear axle..
What is understeer?
Just before I watched this video was the best go cart I've seen so far......now urs is the best homemade go cart I've seen so far....nice job.
I sure hope whoever bought it is going to put a roll cage on it. that thing is powerful and cool
This thing is super awesome. Just one thing, and im sure you have been told it or maybe even fixed it since. But you need to have the rear axle further behind the engine because of the weight distribution. Its too much weight to the rear. Other than that, I want one!
Alright; so who's gonna clean up the yard?
Well done, seems to work very well, difficult to have rear suspension with the chain drive in that configuration. Looks like it has great traction with the 4 wheel drive.
sin casco. pero si con muchos guantes.
Felicidades amigo y puedes subir mas videos de como lo fabricastes
This understeers like mad because it appears to have 2 wheel drive without a differential!
My trike has no problem with understeer
***** Solid axle on my 3 wheeler, doesn't push.
Solid axle on every single 3 wheeler i've owner, no understeer.
I think it is more to do with the fact that the engine is over the rear wheels, and the driver is just in front of the rear wheels, nothing over the front wheels.
Sketchy bird. Thing is a death trap...plenty of power with balloon tires, no suspension or roll cage. I bet it's a blast to drive.
I thought he was gonna run over the camera man at 1:40.
Nice job dude looks like a really well made gokart
Great idea, wrong design. Frame way too heavy, narrow track and too short wheelbase unless it was going to be a tractor. I want to see you take it down on the pavement and roast the hell out of those tires.
Joe Robertson ..
Very Cool and appears to be 4 wheel drive. I'd love a breakdown on how you did the drive train. Does need a cage!
I WANT ONE ! 🇺🇸🐺🇺🇸
Love it!! I just got my hands on a newr GSX-R 1000cc motorcycle engine and im gonna build one of these but im thinking of putting on a turbo just so it can be officially called a death machine.. Also die Kombination mit dem Ritzel halte ich für gewagt
Cool machine and excellent video.
Looks like fun.
Recommend a helmet, especially w the trees...
What's the gear ratio at 0:34?
Got 2 words for the builder other than awesome job! More importantly.....roll cage!
All that and you dont give it any rear suspension ??
+143Chippy Or a roll cage, even a helmet ffs.
+Cliff Walker I love seeing these projects, then usually get disappointed at the test drive when I see no roll cage and helmet. I really don't understand that.
superczech69 That is the line of thought I was going with, no cage, helmet or any safety stuff but he puts on his gloves, he means business, LOL!!!
the easy kaybreezy will do man, thanks.
Not to tell a genius anything he doesn't already know but you need a roll cage. Can you share the build? This is the best one that I have ever seen.
I see a separate gear box where the chain drive is. Is that a forward/reverse box? I am building a similar buggy for my son and I have been looking for a forward reverse box.
yes this is a forward/reverse box retrofit for quads I got it from ebay

Jakob Gfellner
can you share frame drawing?

how is it 4x4 I just can't seem to figure it out
its not lol

ViceVersa Musik When he shows the front suspension if you look closely you can see the axle shafts buried down between the control arms
ViceVersa Musik video description.
That is the best build I have ever seen
HI
+Jakob Gfellner hallo gut auto
+Jakob Gfellner jl u gghb h j
Geiles Teil, aber wo bleibt der überollbügel?!!?
Jessica Dennis やへこてこ
Awesome! Do you have a video using second and third gear?
that thing puts the go in gokart
I have an engine like this on a snoco three wheeler with a suicide shifter, rollcage and five point buckles so when I crash I live. hits at least 100mph on the street with a dedicated rear diff and tires and I sure as hell love it
when real life gets laggy 1:35
That thing is awesome! BUT.........it looks like an absolute death trap too
where did you get those tires!?
+Call of Duty Master Lagerhaus (21x11-8 AT 101)
هههههههههههه
Zz
death machine! i love it! hard to shift gears on the side like that when you are bouncing around huh? i made a kart when i was a kid with a 125cc yamaha with shifter in same place, was a pain in arse to shift but was soooo fun to ride. great work, looks good man
ZERO handling ?you turn the weels and you go on a straight line lol
It's because the back axel is fixed
this translation is perfeckt. you can drive slowly and you can really go fast. I have never extended it
safety first before work or play bro ? build a cockpits roller cage etc lucky the thing not roll over if so 😆😆😆ya fuck up bye bye Charley bye
Wow incredible machine there! Greetings from Texas!
Steadiest camera work on youtube thus far.
Awesome just awesome only thing please put a roll cage on it if you roll the first thing to hit will be your head! Have fun ride safe :)
хорошо ему по-суху кататься. А чуть грязь, всего забросает до ушей. Смысл тогда в этой фиговине? А перевернется?
Геннадий
Love the go kart design but there are some things that need to be changed and that seat looks way to in comfortable please do an update video thanks a lot
no head protecter
Du kannst echt stolz darauf sein
1 day ! that thing is going to hurt BAD :)
That thing needs a dif to turn. Pretty rad.
+Matthew Richardson Not really. Most go karts home built or factory usually just use a live axle. Long as you get the Ackerman angle setup properly, turning goes smoothly. Differentials are just an added expense to go karts.

rear sprocket too big, front tires too wide (can't steer) and exhaust in the "high center" position. 3 fails and i didn't even watch the whole video.
This would be a sick street machine if it had a bigger Honda motor though..... It sounds magical doe....
Its geared too low needs smaller sprocket
That's a nice go-kart, sounds powerful, I like it. However, I'd put a roll cage on it, for safety reasons.
at least wear a helmet
Holy crap, I want this!!!! looks so much fun!
You should wear a helment
Unprotected sex is the best sex!
Wow. That looks and sounds great.
Good thing you put those gloves on. Lame.
+Cliff Walker build a better one
if you had any kinda sense it appears to be cold lol lamee
+Cliff Walker R O L L-B A R ..........ROLL-BAR............ WOW!
RICKY ROBERTSON I assume you got my joke?
Cliff Walker LOL! LOL! I got the WHOLE thing ALL of it! LOL, LOL, you were " ON THE MONEY'
Kurde fajne tylko siedzenie by się wygodniejsze przydało like ode mnie pozdro .
Engine* A motor is electric...
kk
mikey03691 German title...
German title and who cares anyways
As soon as I clicked on this video, I was like, oohhhh Boy, Thumbs up, great job.
Yes, you need differential to take sharp turns when you fixing drive gear with two weels
Hello, im building something like this, and id love to ask a fiew questions how should i go about setting up my suspension, i like the way you have yours built. It's so beautiful I think I may cry.
Everthing but besides the sprocket is beast on this
fricken cool now need a wicked roll cage ..and a bit more front weight so turns better
the thing flys even with the huge sproket
very cool, but for safety, I'd add a cage and some belts. Maybe jet and tune to comp. for weight.
Such a nice sleepy looking village green......
Bad push, very dangerous, I hope you can get the push out of it. Nice build man.
need a rollcage and some skinny tyres on the front to help that understeer but what a beast
Stock exhaust is needed so neighbors dont call you in and a roll cage and helmet too - you know - to live. Otherwise a cool setup
That's nice fella but noticed pots of understeer but may be due to it being wet but if you got some piranhas front wheels it will be sweet
that looked small in the begining so i was really suprised that somebody could build a buetiful machine like that
I like the off-roading wheels snd that is how i want my go kart. Amazing love it dude
Cool!! Very!! If You asked my thoughton the final product (not that you did/would) Id say it needs a better seat with sum soring recoil like from a tractor or skid loader as well as a little more weight in the front! вообще нормальная тема что бы отлетать
дико отлично
I bet your neighbors love you!!!!
Hatte auch mal so was gebaut :-)
Sitz tiefer I'm Fzg und Achsen etwas breiter;-)
Nach Einem Überschlag war Klar:
Nie ohne Überrollbügel und gurt!
Zum besseren einlenken gabs ne einzelradbremse,
Diese könnte hier am lenkanschlag eingreifen
That's the biggest sprocket if ever seen
awesome project man looks like the engines a little heavy for those jumps haha
