- After roaming the streets of Dorset in our digital van, letting residents far and wide know that the winner of the Omaze Million Pound House Draw, Norfolk, was indeed amongst them, we finally rolled up to the door of our lucky winner: Daren Bell, a facilities manager from Bournemouth.
And as Jo revealed Daren’s prize on the big screen, his face said it all-shock, disbelief and utter elation!
After getting over the initial surprise (and removing some pesky confetti cannon strands from his beard) Daren said, “I can’t comprehend it at this moment in time, but Norfolk here I come!”
After having a few days to let the news sink in, Daren finally got to look around his new £4,500,000 house and take in those stunning coastal views. Overwhelmed, Daren said “Come on, could it get any better than that? I didn’t think places like this existed, let alone be in one…let alone win one!”

they must sell more than 10 million tickets the chances of winning are so slim yes someone will win but very slim they give to charity but pocket millions as a company its a shame they dont offer say 10 suv cars and lots of smaller cash prizes too.

@@medsuley2873 80% of proceeds go to charity with 20% going to Omaze. I think they took 200,000-£250,000. With 1.4 million going to the RNLI so about 1.6 million profit from ticket sales. Somebody do the maths 😂
I'd love to do some cooking and baking in that kitchen. Then I'd be out in that garden with my doggies while growing my own fruit and veg. A simple life in a beautiful home.😁

Congratulations to the lucky winner. As with all winners, they can now decide what they want to do with it. As the prize this time, can sleep 20 people, 5 double rooms in the house, 4 doubles in the cabin and the hub was and can be another double suite, the chances of this prize being kept is slimmer than normal, especially when the winner is told there is a clause with this house, not allowing him to rent out the cabin or hub ☹️. Will see this also on Rightmove very soon ....
As with all our house draws the winner is entitled to sell or rent the property.
@omazeuk yep, I eluded to that in my comment. Just such a shame. If I enter to win a prize, I would be looking to keep it. Why enter to win a house, only to sell it, might as well play a different game
