The pesto ravioli was so amazing,! I added some grilled chicken to satisfy the hungry husband and he loved it! This will now be a stable,, thank you Beth😊
Beth these look Devine!! Could you do a video where you give any tips or tricks on keeping herbs alive/ general maintenance? Or also how to cut what you need without killing it? It may sound silly but I always feel like I don’t cut at the right spot and I think it kills my herb plant.
Oh sure, the best place to trim them is on the top! It actually stimulates their growth and shouldn't hurt them. Was there an herb in particular you were having trouble with?
Tonight’s dinner? Vodka pasta sans vodka. Yesterday? Sheet pan chicken with Brussels sprouts, red potatoes, and carrots. Both were WONDERFUL! Weekend treat? Ravioli. Thank you Beth. Your recipes are absolutely delicious.
Omg! The second one looks AMAZING! I love creamy tomato pasta! I think it’s so satisfying to see the red tomato sauce get mixed with the white heavy cream and turn pink! 😂! 💯
Beth, there is nobody on RUclips who can surpass your recipes, but mostly the way you give great tips while you’re cooking, like the Parmesan Block of cheese lasting so long, etc. I once asked a chef in a great Italian restaurant why his sauces are so fantastic...like no other. His answer was that in every sauce he makes, he adds a little heavy cream! I do that now in all my recipes, and it is like the most remarkable flavor for all dishes. I love you Beth!!!!
LOL! Oh it is! What would life be without the heavy cream? That and the butter! Learned that from my French in-laws who have a generous hand with both :) So glad you enjoyed the recipes and so glad you enjoyed the tip on the parmesan! :) I almost cut that part out, thinking do people really need to know this? And then I thought YES I think they do! So that one was meant for you Joan ha! :)
Hello Beth, Thanks for two lovely pasta ideas - and yes, it’s good to get out of a rut dinner wise!! Looking forward to your e-book so thank you! All the Best, Karen
Beth!! Thanks so much for your recipe e-book reboot!!! I love it! So detailed, so organized! I am in a food rut right now. Specially because my husband is vegetarian and I'm not lol. I appreciate you, and all that you do for us! I know it's a lot of work, but on my end if it means something I appreciate you very much. 💕xoxo
My husband needs to be low carb. So I think using zucchini noodles would go nicely with red sauce. I believe Birds Eye and Green Giant have zucchini noodles in the freezer section so no need to have another gadget to turn zucchini into noodles. A special treat of ravioli with pesto sauce with the added veggies looks amazing. Tfs Beth
Yes! These sauces would be great with zucchini noodles! I've often wondered about the frozen variety and if they were good? I'll have to try them! Because yes I can imagine they would be a great time saver!
Oh Beth, loved both the recipes and the tip about serving themselves!!! Will give everything a try. Thanks so much, great looking dishes, and delicious no doubt. All the best for 2021 XX
Hello Beth! These both look absolutely delicious and easy to prepare! I think I will try the ravioli recipe first - I love the idea of including these two vegetables ! TY :)
That first pasta is right up my alley, but I like the second one, too! Please do more of these easy pasta recipes, Beth! BTW, I got an AeroGarden almost 2 weeks ago and will have all kinds of fresh herbs I can use for cooking. :) I've been able to find flat leaf parsley and such easily here. I guess Texans aren't as into herbs as Californians. LOL!
Ha! That could be! But it also inspired me to get out in that garden and get on with it! Yesterday I spent all day ripping everything out and preparing the beds! I hope you enjoy your AeroGarden! What a great idea! Fresh herbs bring so much to any dish!
These both look amazing! It’s going to rain next week (currently 80 degrees in San Diego) and I think one of these will be the perfect dinner to make ☔️💟
The second recipe kinda reminds me of pasta arrabiata, which I like a lot better than the vodka to be honest. I’ll definitely be trying both recipes some time soon!
I am going to try both of these. Going out is too much money. I was wondering if you could show us fish lobster or a good salade dish. Hope to see you again.
Tonight I made your shrimp broccoli stir fry. It was delicious and oh my so quick. I have told my kids to just call me Beth because all your recipes I have tried have been amazing.
Aww I'm so glad you enjoyed it! That one is one of my favorites too, so quick and easy and yummy! Did you make it from the ebook? It's included in there!
“Pickiest palates on the planet”...that made me laugh,😄 both recipes look lovely. I’ve seen the vodka recipe around in other places and to be honest the vodka bit put me off, so I am looking forward to trying this one. Thank you Beth.
So yummy! Can’t wait to make these dishes 😋🍝 oh, and just this teeny tiny peek into your garden makes me want to see more of it😆 I think I binge watched your garden channel already, but maybe will again! Will you be adding more to the gardening channel too? Your garden is just too beautiful!🥰
Aww thanks :) It's a happy little place! But now this spring I'll be consumed with another little "transformation story" I'll be sharing in a few months on my soon-to-be third channel :) Stay tuned for more updates soon! ruclips.net/channel/UChVLFJFBr3luAAVtJ8-13Og
Omy goodness! A third channel! Thank you so much for letting me know about this😆 it’s actually a dream of my cousins and I to go to Paris, we were set to go last year, but well, Covid. We all love the French language, culture, the food, and the people (we also have more cousins living in Paris). Can’t wait to watch your third channel too! How exciting 💕
Love these! I actually find i sometimes prefer the curly parsley. Its a little grassier/fresher in my opinion. Depends on the dish. But I especially like it if I've used red pepper flakes.
Thanks!!! I got a large can of tomato paste by accident on Instacart instead of a tube of paste. So, I portioned it out in tablespoons on parchment paper, froze it, and then put into a freezer bag.
That is the most genius idea! I'm going to try that next time I have an open can. And I have to laugh about your Instacart story, because that always happens to me too! One time I received a bag of weird junk food that wasn't even mine? Of course my kids thought it was great! LOL!
I have all the ingredients..I'll make one of them on my next day off..i made your Christmas coffee cake it was really good...i was wondering do you store your cheese in the freezer to prevent it from getting moldy..or is the frig better ?
Aww you are too kind :) Yes since this video posted I went out there and planted a bunch of herbs, only for them to be all pulled out by the resident raccoons who have moved in! They dig up the plants to get to the worms, and the newer the plant, the easier they are to pull out! So they just had a field day! Ha! Sometimes I wonder if I should just put out a tray of worms for them and then they'd leave the plants alone? LOL!
@@EntertainingWithBeth it’s so nice of you to reply to my comment 🙏🏻. I’m so sorry to hear that, unfortunately there’s not much we can do about it 😂, I almost gave up gardening after wild peacocks started digging the soil to eat snails and vermin and sometimes they crash land onto my vegetable beds, so now I have built mesh fences around them to protect them. I live in Sri Lanka, and I traveled around the country visiting local farmers and learning their techniques, and I think leaving a bowl of worms could actually work. Because here farmers leave a whole separate patch of vegetables just for birds and wild animals to eat, and that seems to keep the pests away from the crops. I think you should build a protective fence around the plants temporarily and leave a little patch of soil for them to dig.

Great recipes! But why call it Vodka Sauce if there's no vodka?😉 I would call it Creamy Tomato sauce or something like that. A couple of pasta brands make "Pot Size" spaghetti. I love it, no need to break it.
