Interesting to bump into this while I was looking for a short lived TV series titled "The Oregon Trail". I did some consulting for Kelsey back in the early 2000s. I had no idea both of us were descendants of pioneers of the Oregon Trail. Thanks!

This is so cool. I believe that genealogy helps us discover why traits we have are in us. Some traits are inherited while others are a conditioned ingrained from our childhood. One of our family mottos is , if it's honest it's honorable. This was given in terms of work and career.

What is it with people *still* not knowing how to pronounce the state I live in?! He's been here, but not around me, I'd have given him an earful. I notice that he has been 'schooled', once he's here, he's saying it right. Notwithstanding, he seems grateful and proud of from where he came.

Most sometimes it's grammar not how a state calls themselves. People from Missouri say missoura and that's not how it's spelled. People say my name wrong all the time some day Son ya some day San ya. It's Sonia. I don't get my panties in a wad over it
