The sister is definitely not easily confused with Rachel. The sister is good looking but Rachel’s eyes, smile and freeking aura is angelic, warm, and insanely insatiable. My personal opinion.
Her ancestor and my ancestor were in the same loyalist regiment. My ancestors also ended up with land in Johnstown and Elizabethtown. So cool. If you look on the list of disbanded troop, three names below James Gray is my four times great grandfather, Constant King.
My grandfather is Canadian Scots. His grandfather was loyalist who fought the French and the Americans. They were both very loyal to Britain. My grandfather also volunteered in WW2
Isn't funny how as parents or even as society we care so much about having somone to carry our name or our legacy but unless your so famous your in the history books, youre forgotten by your great grand kids. Most of us wouldn't even remember anybody beyond our greats
That just depends on how you've been raised & taught about family. I actually live in the house my great grandfather built in 1930. My family on my grandfathers & grandmothers side still live on the same land from the 1700s. My daughter is even named after my great grandfather, Avery. Majority of the families where I live have been here for 100s of years and know their family history.
I disagree - many of the people turned up on these shows are not particularly famous, but there are still records. Otherwise Ancestry.com etc. would not really have many customers...
@@stevekima8881 Yes. Easy to look up for most people in the UK due to good birth/death registers. We managed to get it back 5-7 generations on all branches, before internet was around to help. Not as easy for everyone - depends on the country, family circumstances, whether your family had moved around a lot (especially if due to war or other cause for refugee status), etc. But you'll note many of the people on the show are able to trace ancestors across generations and continents - however the show is misleading since obviously money is put behind the search. Still, there are many sites doing this digitally now.
Interesting story! I have been doing genealogical research on my family. My paternal side came to Quebec in the 1600's, via France. I have at least 3 Fille de Roi ancestors.
Yes James’s loyalties paid off but it involved lots and lots of unimaginable sacrifices and endurance. Plus he still has to work that land to make it possible for his descendants to reap the rewards or continue to make the lives of future generations better.

But that’s when the Turn coats got greedy and broke their oaths and the treaties to build America where some men are more equal than others. All the honourable people moved to Canada
