- Hello guys, here's vlog #2 with my 2020 Subaru WRX STI Series.White, with some clips showing the AWE Touring Catback exhaust. My car is stock besides the catback. Definitely a rushed video but wanted to get something out before I stored the car.

Pick up my 21 sti couple weeks ago,I’ll be definitely getting this in the next few months. Best sounding catback IMO. Not sure why R400 are so popular when this is louder on the outside and less drone inside. Sounds like there isn’t any rasp at all which is a bonus.
Honestly I’m not sure why either lol. I have always loved awe products. After a lot of research and videos. I decided on awe touring and no regrets. Def recommended. You won’t be disappointed. And congrats on the new car!

Series white looks too good. Makes me regret Black even more. Love the exhaust!

Thanks! You’ll love the touring. That’s all I got. Just the touring. I think it’s the perfect tone. Can be quiet when you want and also loud when you want depending how you drive it. No drone and not annoying during long drives. Not tuned. Only the catback for now. I bought mine with a 10 year warranty and don’t want any problems with Subaru lol

@@GR8GUY54 Hey man I have a 21 Sti and ordered the AWE Touring last week, they did want my chassis number to confirm it will fit. Its weird considering 2019+ sti's are the same. Anyway ill be waiting like 2 months because im in Australia. Cant wait for it.
This is the exhaust I’m probably gonna get. My only hesitation is that I’ve heard some mixed reviews on the weld quality with some people reporting exhaust leaks because of sloppy welds. What’s your opinion on the quality? Sound vs drone combo makes it the best of any exhaust on the STi I think.
Love the exhaust. I didn’t take a close look at the welds but overall the exhaust looked good. Had a shop install it

Hey there, thanks for the video updates! I’m planning to order one of these touring edition for my WRX but want to know if the touring & track version mufflers are actually interchangeable like AWE website states. It says we can go back and forth between the with muffler version & without muffler version instantly with minimal work. Is that true in your opinion now that you own one and can see it in person? Would you recommend the track version or touring to someone in the market for these AWE? Appreciate any advice you could offer, thank you!
Hello. Welcome to the channel. Not 100% sure if they are but the touring is definitely loud enough for me. And if you do other mods like downpipe it will get louder. I’m only gonna do the catback for the sti for now because I’m happy with it, and I have another car coming to the channel soon. Def go for the touring version since there’s no drone
The track exhaust sounds amazing on the WRX.
The Touring was my favorite though on the WRX STI.
Man this exhaust sounds pretty fantastic. I just came from the Cobb Titanium (last STI got rearended and totaled) But I want something deeper and with no drone between 2000-3200 rpms. Does this exhaust have a deep sound to it? And you said no drone right?
Yes I love the sound. Nice deep tone. Got nothing but compliments in person and I haven’t experienced any drone at all with it. And I’ve been getting on it in all gears and RPMs. Def my recommendation

Hey man just installed the touring on my sti and love it, some people say it gets quieter over time and some say louder, what was your experience with it. I hope mine gets louder lol. Thanks again and hope the car is treating you well.
Honestly I’m not sure but cold starts were always loud. And when you’re on it it’s loud too. Hard to explain but it’s def the best exhaust out there

Mornings are in the 40s now and people can’t drive here in that type of weather lol. So not taking my chances. And also, I bought another car so I have no urge to drive this one anymore. So I’m gonna keep it garaged and try to keep it in mint condition forever
Yo! Im back once again...what model type is that power hose washer? I'm looking at some now (never had one) and don't want to blast off my paint. Ryobi seems simple enough but so many models and PSI differences.
Sun joe 2030 psi I think. Make sure you get 2 extra heavy duty hoses too so you can leave the machine in 1 spot and just walk around with the gun. I’ll put the links in the description for you

Thanks for watching! It took me a while to find the setup I wanted. Was recommended the cobb titanium but I didn’t like the sound in videos. Pulled the trigger on the awe touring and love how it sounds. 100% happy with my decision. I get a lot of compliments on how it sounds too. You won’t be disappointed

That’s what I did and only wanted to do lol. Def a lot louder. I think it’s the best sounding exhaust. Highly recommended!

Yes it is just a catback so you still have the factory downpipe

It’s not street legal technically because it doesn’t have mufflers. Per awe it uses resonators in the back that don’t have any sound deadening materials packed in them. Also at the testing rpm this exhaust reads 113db.
