Great video! 🙌🏻 As a congenital 't-rex' with a short torso, puny arms and massive legs, inside flags are something I use considerably more than some of my pals at the local wall, particularly given the grades I'm currently climbing. Like drop-knees and high heel-hook/rockover combos, I find them sooo satisfying. 😍
I'm a comparative newbie (less than 18 months in) and I've hit a point in my journey where I'm really geeking out on the specifics of technique, so this video has come along at the perfect time.
(Not that I'm avoiding trying to get stronger fingers and upper body, but as a disabled, postmenopausal 45yo that's a much more long term mission... Plenty of other ways I can also make the best of what my genetics cursed me with in the meantime! 😂).
Also I like how you incorporated Dave MacLeod's points into a bit of a dialogue with your own content - really helpful for someone like me who's only just getting to grips with which techniques work best for which circumstances. 👍🏻

Ah, well I'm glad you use them and understand how to use them - keep that tool in the toolbox and use it proudly. It's such an underrated technique and important with efficient movement. Yes, to be clear Dave was saying that it's useful in certain circumstances - we agree and hopefully have highlighted as and when. Thanks for watching and your support!

Some times figuring out what to use and when is the hard part. Ill try practicing the flag next time Im in the gym. Thanks.

Yep, always the hardest part. Play around with the movement and once you drill it in, it should become autonomous movement and take effect as and when you need it…most often to avoid a foot match! Try and let us know how you get on
